She grabbed a wide variety for me to try at the start as it was my first time wedding dress shopping, and she helped me narrow it down to a style I liked. The only thing I have to say is that the lighting is a little bit intense, and looking back at photos it made the dresses look a little more unflattering than they actually are. I can't say enough good things about this store, and Becca. After a seamstress ruined a dress I'd had for 10 months at the 11th hour (please avoid Alterations by Hemali at all costs), I was forced to buy a new dress a week before my wedding. Becca not only got me in for an appointment within 15 minutes of calling, she pulled great options, then tracked down a dress I liked in another city in my size and offered to rush it to me. She also gave me 20 percent off the dress I purchased after learning of my ordeal, and then helped me find a new seamstress who could alter my dress in three days. Not only does the store have great dresses, but she and they really went above and beyond on a day that I really, really needed it, and I could not be more appreciative. Go here! read more

Cillian is amazing, she immediately understood what I wanted (I have a pretty specific vibe) and she did what other stylists weren't able to do: she listened. My gown came in very under budget so I could afford alterations and some custom accessories to be made! My gown is perfect, and as a plus size gal, I felt so comfortable in their sample dresses, I noticed that they had a couple sizes of a lot of the dresses to accommodate different brides. I was able to try on dresses that closed without clips, and even ordered my dress in the sample size I tried on. I was asked about my dress preference and jean size. Upon arriving, my entourage and I were matched with Anjel and she asked a few more questions about what I was looking for. I cannot stress enough how much Anjel made this appointment. She listened to my wants, took my budget seriously, and pulled multiple gowns that I could have fallen in love with. She arranged them based on price and walked me through each. At the end there was a few that were a bit over but exactly what I asked for. I felt 0 pressure to try them on or go over if I didn't feel comfortable. After trying on the first few, we zeroed in and she pulled another two. Once we had it narrowed down to two, we tested them in different lighting to match the whole event. At the very end, I knew I loved a dress but need to think on it. We left and returned the next morning. I ended up with the perfect dress that was exactly in the budget I started with. I'm still in shock that they could accommodate my lower range (I've watched way too many episodes of Say Yes to the Dress). I showed my stylist, Kianna, a few photos on Pinterest, and she pulled several beautiful gowns for me. She made me feel super comfortable and answered all my questions! She suggested many ways for us to take photos/videos of the dresses (natural light, walking, holding a bouquet, etc.) to mimic the "real day" that I found super helpful! As a curvy girl, dress shopping seemed daunting and the ladies at Luv made me feel beautiful and perfect. I went to two other dress stores after going to Luv and neither compared. I ended up going back to Luv TWO more times to try on additional dresses that weekend (and my favorite from the first day) and worked with Sophie - who was fabulous and super supportive! I ended up finding a dress at a different store, but they let me use my deposit from my original dress on accessories, and their accessories are awesome and well-priced! My bridal consultant, Josie, was fabulous, she listened to what I had to say, made great suggestions and above all she made me feel comfortable trying on dresses. As a plus size bride it can be difficult to find a wide selection of dresses in your size. LB had a nice variety and if a dress was a smaller size Josie made sure I wasn't hanging out. I was able to come back and try on the dress I was interested in again. When I had alteration questions Josie got Bethany the showroom manager to talk to me about the bust area and my concerns and made helpful suggestions. When I came back to buy the dress it was easy and I knew what needed to be added to my dress and the costs. Over all I couldn't be happier with my choice of dress and my experience at Luv Bridal. The lady who helped me (forgot her name, but she was a tall blonde with curly hair) was very knowledgeable about the different styles of dresses and made picking out dresses to try on very easy! I can't say enough about how great LUV, and especially Taylor were. I felt so well cared for, my friends had a great time and I found some fabulous ones. But the best experience was when I went back a second time because I was debating between a dress there and a dress in another shop. I ended up feeling the other one was the right one for me and Taylor could not have been more gracious and considerate - she just wanted me to find the right dress for me! No pushing at all, just courteous. Highly recommend them!!! UPDATE: The other store ended up selling the SAME DRESS to a woman whose wedding I was attending before ours. What are the odds? So it kinda ruined that dress for me.
