Pretty good dress selection. Expensive. I loved my dress. I am so disappointed in the tailoring. Absolutely DO NOT get your dress tailored here. Go somewhere else. I'm extremely disappointed in how it turned out. I should have taken it home the first time I saw the alterations and had someone correct it. I thought they could fix it. It looks worse. I can't fix it at this point because of timing and to say I'm disappointed after spending over $5000 here is an understatement. Edit: I took my dress to my regular tailor and she salvaged it within a few days for literally a quarter of the cost of tailoring at TBC. Mia's Creative Tailoring is the absolute best! She said she gets a lot of dresses folks who buy here and need a last minute fix. So disappointed I wasted money on their services. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our appointment at The Bridal Collection! I attended an appointment to find my wedding gown with my parents, future mother-in-law, and fiancé's grandmother. It was a Saturday afternoon and I opted to purchase the charcuterie and champagne that the shop offers as extras if desired. Everyone in the shop was warm and welcoming and our assigned stylist was very knowledgeable. She quickly learned my style and was respectful of our budget. I found my dream dress by the end of the appointment! In addition to the dress, I purchased the matching veil and a faux fur stole as my wedding occurred over the winter season in Chicago. A service that I greatly appreciated was that the shop allowed me to come in prior to traveling to Chicago for my wedding and helped me pack everything in my carry on suitcase. It was so reassuring knowing my dress was traveling right by my side to avoid any possible luggage issues with the airline. I first interacted with Nikki, their Digital Marketer via Instagram. She was beyond kind, informative and in no way pushy about coming in for an appt. She encouraged me that the Bridal Collection would have a wide variety of dresses available to try on and to just enjoy the process! After booking an appt. I spoke with Anna over the phone whom was very pleasant as well. I was pretty overwhelmed with this being my first shop but she calmed a lot of my nerves, getting to know me, what I was looking for & explaining the process. Then I get to the shop... it's absolutely gorgeous. They were prompt to bring over our champagne (a upgrade to your appt.) and I was quickly greeted by Jordan. She was a godsend! I mean, if anyone was made for this job, it's her. She was team bride all the way. Zero judgement, beyond encouraging & HONEST! She read me like a book and knew I wasn't liking a certain look, so she'd waste no time getting me into the next style which was chefs kiss. I purchased a dress here in March but felt pressured by the salesperson to "say yes to the dress." After having second thoughts, I called the next day to try it on again. I was told the sample had already been sold, making it impossible to try on again. They offered only a small discount on an accessory alteration as compensation. Six months later, when the dress arrived, it was significantly larger than the one I had tried on in the store, requiring extensive alterations that nearly doubled the cost of the dress. I ultimately decided to wear a different dress. When I asked about options for a return or refund, I spoke with a manager who was defensive and unwilling to offer any solutions. Despite trying twice to ask for help with resale or other options, I was ignored or dismissed until finally they sent me some professional photos to use for resale. They just wanted the dress off of their hands and to make the sale, without considering the dissatisfaction of the customer. read more

I was very excited to come to The Bridal Collection after reading all of the positive reviews and looking at their dresses online, but unfortunately I did not have the same experience. The first thing that rubbed me the wrong way was after I talked with my stylist about my budget, she had me go pull dresses off the rack myself. Every single one was out of my price range and I would have to put it back. It felt like a ploy to get brides to go over their budget without making it the stylist's fault. Very uncomfortable and awkward. Now, my main issue: when the appointment began, I told my stylist that I wanted an "elegant, classy, and romantic dress." Not a single dress fell into those categories. I was brought obnoxiously sequined dresses, a dress with a gaudy sparkly bow, dresses with deep plunges, and dresses with slits up to my crotch (literally - when I stepped up onto the platform my entire group saw my underwear). I also requested to try on a few fit and flare dresses and did not get to try on a single one. It's like my stylist didn't listen to a single thing I said. The prices seemed much higher compared to other shops I went to and I felt more pressure here. Overall, it was not enjoyable and I wish I had brought my group somewhere else. read more

I had no idea finding the perfect dress could be so easy! Crystal asked my daughter a lot of questions to find out what she wanted, then let us look through the dresses, guiding us to what my daughter had said. She picked out 5 or 6 to try on, then Crystal went in the back and brought out two cash and carry dresses - designer concept dresses that were one of a kind. The third dress my daughter tried on was stunning on her! She tried on the rest of the dresses, but had already fallen in love with the third one, one of the in-stock dresses. I received a call from The Bridal Collection to bring my dress that I purchased in to have their alterations department work on it since a large majority of the sequins were continuing to decorate the ground. They were very kind and helpful. When I went back into pick up my dress almost 4 months later it did look much better without all of the loose threads hanging off. There is not a doubt in my mind that they worked many many many days and hours on my dress. Was it flawless... No. But it was defiantly better. For the amount of money that I paid I would like to think perfection is what they would strive for. Again, Great people but ALWAYS thoroughly check out your dress before purchasing. I went to the Bridal collection as a young bride really not knowing the process of how things are done when buying a wedding dress. Sasha who my stylist was truly amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone who asked. However, after setting a budget, I was put into dresses that were outside of that budget and fell in love with one I could not afford. It broke my heart when I had to find something else. Additional things were added onto the price of the dress as well that I was unaware were not required. Bring my price to close to double the amount of the dress. I went back and looked again for another dress. Feeling like I had found my dress they accommodated the 60% down they require and let me set up a payment plan which was very nice. After a week I realized I was no longer excited about my dress and wanted to keep looking. When I reached out to them to see what my options were, I was met with unfriendly responses. One of the managers stated, "We have made way to many accommodations for you already" and "you can come in and look again but we will require you to put 60% down" and took the option of a payment plan away from me. The way she spoke to me put me in tears and really put a damper on the experience of finding my wedding dress. I wouldn't say I don't recommend shopping here just be sure they only put you in dresses that are in your budget and ask questions on what the extra chargers will be and essentially don't change your mind. Once you pick the dress there's no going back. read more

This was our second bridal salon for the day and the difference between customer service, professionalism, variety in styles, prices, etc. was just night and day from the first place we went. Our stylist was the most amazing lady. So was so kind and helpful. When we first arrived we were offered champagne and macaroons. We didn't accept, but the offer was lovely. Our stylist then sat with us, asked all the right questions, took us on a tour, she then pulled everything. Cathy was my stylist. I did go in not having a clue what I wanted or what would look good on me. But I had one request, no silk. She not once gave me an attitude about checking fabrics.
