I wrote a review back in maybe December or January and said you know the car wash is supposed to be open till seven it was 630 and they closed. The owner responded and said "you know the lines were freezing so we want to best support our employees and close early so no one gets hurt". I get it. I deleted the review... Today is Friday. It's 50° out. It's beautiful out and a car wash is closed 25 minutes early. Maybe they had more frozen pipes. This is typically my go to car wash but today may be my last visit to this location. I usually come by for the 2nd or 3rd tier wash but today I just needed the basic. They usually try to get you to join the membership but today when I declined, the young man who was about to process the basic wash was told by another man that usually works the kiosk that the basic $10 wash was broken and I would HAVE to get the 2nd. Any other day this would have been fine but by the loo on the young man's face, something was off here. The guy claimed the first wash was frozen HOWEVER the second wash worked and would be better. To my knowledge, the 2nd wash is essentially the 1st tier wash with a few extras. I paid for the wash but I knew I was told a lie. Unfortunately I do not support businesses that function this way. I've been a loyal customer to Luv Car Washes in various areas especially this one and have sent many family members and friends to this specific location. I went for a basic car wash, then tried it for one month because it was winter. They have been charging my credit card every month for 24.37 and I have not been there since Febraury, I had to cancel my credit card and reported the fraud, and get a new credit card. User be warned! if they break it you fix it. They will make you jump through hoops filing a "damage claim" I suppliyed them with pics and repair cost just to be reminded of their no liability policy. After my wash I noticed that it was still covered in bugs and the back was dirty. I asked the person working there if they had any guarantees for a clean car. He asked which wash I had - I told him the $17 one. He said "that's only a one pass wash". Then he proceeded to tell me there is an area before you go in where I was supposed to brush the car and clean the bugs. Proceeded to say his car is covered with bugs even washing it there all the time (that should say it all). He told me "I don't know what to tell you and let me walk away. They don't pre-spray bad areas and they don't pre-brush places like the tailgate nooks and crannies. Essentially - you should wash your car and THEN pay them to wash your car. I have gone to this car wash three times, and I will never go again. I have a midsize SUV and every time I go there, there is a guy putting the hard sell on me to get an upgrade with a membership which I refuse. I hate being sold on something when I'm just trying to get a car wash and go. Additionally, the wash sucked! This car wash stands out from the rest, it looks great and service is just outstanding. I used this location on my visit to Lansdale area. There are 2 entrances one from 309 and other on back side. As you enter the wash area, you can select the wash option or get subscription plan with them. I went with basic wash and the staff assisted me with that and no issues The wash was just perfect and best one yet. The vaccum area had towels to pat off excess water and really good quality towels. The vaccums are very effective and worked like magic. **This location is definitely worth trying and woth for the money. read more

So, Luv in Montgomeryville is still relatively new - maybe a bit over a year? - and it is sorely needed. I got a one-time wash (I don't live too close to here so I can't do a membership right now) and got the 2nd most expensive kind - $22.00. There are free vaccuums (before you wash) and a place to get organized. The staff was helpful and the wash itself seems fine. Not mind-blowing but fine. Next time I will try a cheaper one to see if there is any difference. There are 4 levels of wash from $11 - $27. read more

I have never had such horrible service. This just happened 5 min ago. I was trying to get the 10 dollar wash and was bullied by a guy demanding I pay the 17 dollar wash when I refused and asked again for the 10 dollar wash he said my credit card didn't work which I just used at costco so I gave him another credit card and he said that didn't work either. It seems awkward that both cards didn't work for him however everywhere else I go they work. He then said I will raise the gate and you can just leave. I have been there before and never had this happen. I will never go there again. I understand they are trying to sell monthly memberships, however a customer shouldn't be bullied. You shouldn't advertise a 10 dollar wash if you can't get it. read more

When I began going to Luv car wash over a year ago, I LUVed it! I enjoyed having cloths to dry my car, the vacuum as well as other amenities that allowed me to detail my own car. Then came this January, where I noticed marks on the finish of my car after it had gone through the car wash, that looked like scratches, but weren't into the paint, however, there were marks (they looked like someone took a wax crayon to several spots on the car, and they didn't come off). I brought it to the attention of the onsite manager, who proceeded to tell me there was no way the machinery would do that to my car. Okay, let's try again. February was a visit that was the last straw. I was drying my car after the wash and noticed that half of a plastic piece, apparently an after market installed bug shield (I bought the car used, so not sure), was ripped off the hood of my car. Again, I called on the manager. He came, looked at it and informed me that even if the machinery had done the damage, it was an after market installed part that is not covered under their damage policy. I was in touch with Luv Customer Service, via email, but to no avail. They advised me to go to the car wash and take it up with the management, which I already had, so there was no point in doing so again. Needless to say, buyer beware! The new car wash spot off of Route 309 in Montgomeryville. It's pretty nice. I signed up for the monthly pass and stop by at least once a week because it is on the way home from work. The path makes it real simple because it stands your license plate and open the gate. Someone is always available to help you check out and guide you through What I like about it compared to the other self service cleaning areas is they have clean rags and a spot to put the rag when it's done. There is also a compressed air nozzle to help loosen debris when using one of the vacuum. Fair warning, the vacuum are pretty crowded on the weekends and sometimes there's not a spot for everyone. I am not going anywhere else. Everyone mentions the staff. Very friendly. Since it was my first visit, I had questions regarding the floormat cleaning machine. Paul was very helpful and attentive. He explained the whole thing to me, which really is not complicated at all. But he had a very pleasant disposition which stood out to me. I am not ready to commit to a membership yet. The more negative reviews here are regarding people who paid for memberships, so I'll wait for now. It is important to note that the company has taken the time to reach out to those folks as well with the intention of addressing the problems. A very bad experience at the Magic Touch Car Wash in Chalfont turned into a silver lining because it led me to LUV! I get the hype now! In a nutshell, At Magic Touch, the machine took my money, but then after the car in the bay sent thru, it gave me an error message and said to come back later! There is no attendant there and no phone number for help! I tried contacting Magic Touch Car Wash thru their Facebook, phone (it was a fax machine!), and finally email. I never got a response and ended up getting the charge reversed on my credit card. NOW, had they responded and gave me a credit, I'd still be using them. I had been using them since they came to Chalfont! I still had a dirty car, so I tried the Luv carwash in Montgomeryville. WOW. Someone comes out and explains the process if you're new (I was). Then they give you a free LUV air freshener. The wash itself is amazing!!!!!! And, excuse me, FREE VACUUMS? Free windex, free cloths to wipe down your car? And it wasn't even crowded the two times I've gone so far. I love that they are staffed (so if there is a problem, it's easily handled). And all the extras? And the employees are friendly. I initially thought calling a carwash "Luv" was silly, but it's genius. Because I love LUV!!!!! I bought the month package (only 9.99 for first two months). It's less than what I would have spent at the Chalfont carwash (it's 13.00 there for a basic that doesn't even clean or come with all the extras as LUV). Hearts all around for LUV! read more

Been coming here for months with the unlimited washes now, always a good speed in and out even with a longer line, the workers keep the line moving quickly. Great customer service as well, Paul helped me out today at the complimentary vacuum station, hooking me up with a free mug to put my spare change in so I didn't suck it up in the machine. I went through this car wash in Montgomeryville PA today at 1:15 and I went into the car wash with 4 perfect spotless rims, not a scratch on a single one of them and they were also spotlessly clean (i was going to get the body cleaned). When I exited the car wash my rims were not only filthy dirty but they had significant damage, multiple scratches on every single rim, gouges, chips, cracks and scratches, deep ones that I tried to wipe off and could not get out. The metal alloy was even chipped off, this is beyond anything I could have imagined could happen from your car wash. I just bought this car, it was literally perfect and this is very upsetting. I will be exploring potential options, I paid 40 dollars to have my car cleaned and left with $2,000 worth of damage and filthy rims and tires that are scratched so deep I'm sure they cannot be repaired. I have used many car washes and never seen anything like it. I drive a c class Mercedes, this is not an odd shaped or sized car, I'm sure they are aware that they have serious issues with the machinery but this is an abomination and is well beyond anything I have ever seen or heard of in my life. If you put one scratch on the car it would be one thing, but this literally destroyed all 4 rims on a car I just picked up with not a scratch on it. People are living paycheck to paycheck and stealing their money to destroy their car is really something else. read more
