In house syrups and quality matcha made this a must try stop for me and I will be back to try more things next time I am in the area. I ordered an unsweetened matcha latte with almond milk and the ratio of powder to milk was good. The latte was not that creamy as expected with almond milk. The matcha itself did not have too much notable flavor as it was not as umami or grassy but still good. Next time I'd add syrup. As for the unsweetened latte with whole milk it was creamier but not as creamy as a traditional latte. Henry's Coffee is good, I've been here about 3-4 times now. I've tried the cookie butter latte and the raspberry latte, and both are really tasty. My first cookie butter latte honestly knocked my socks off; the second time it was just okay, but still enjoyable. They need to have someone dedicated to taking orders instead of multitasking and helping make drinks at the same time. That slows everything down, especially during the rush, and it's the main reason I'm taking one star off. Also, the drinks are a bit pricey...$8 for a cookie butter latte feels a little high for me. Overall, it's a nice little spot with good coffee, and I'll keep coming back, but a smoother ordering system and slightly better value would make the experience a lot better. I generally avoid getting drinks with fruit in it cause I am pretty picky if it tastes too syrupy or sweet. Stopped in after a long day of work, just needed something to perk me up! It was near closing time, so I didn't anticipate that anything would be fresh, so I opted out of food items. Got a honey latte with almond. Was around $7. It seems like a brand new brick and mortar, because it was very empty inside. Not warm or hang-outy. But drink was fine, ice was already melting, though so that could be espresso poured over ice directly or milk was not cold at pour. Espresso not burned or dead. Service was lackluster, no greeting or hello or thank you, but I attrributed this to being near closing (around 4:45pm). I'd definitely try them again if in the area. Found myself in Santa Clarita needing some caffeine. The barista was super nice and helpful. I started off wanted a strawberry matcha but saw the cookie butter latte and got distracted. Just the right amount of sweetness and the cookie butter came through! They also sell lots of varieties of coffee and matcha too. I also saw their matcha bowls and whisks so I'm sure it's legit. Update: I came here to try the strawberry matcha. I would have liked a bit less strawberry, but this is because I enjoy drinks that are barely sweet. Next time I'll have to order light strawberry! I enjoy matcha with coconut milk so this is what I ordered. The coconut milk wasn't my favorite, I think there's better brands out there. If you don't know me by now, I love trying coffee shops I haven't been to and giving my support! Especially these smaller mom and pop ones. Parking is small and we came from the Main Street and didn't realize it was a one way entrance. We backed out and went around the corner to actually get to the right parking lot. Super small and limited parking. Some of them have signs for specific businesses as well but we luckily found one for theirs, right up front! Welcomed by the friendliest baristas. This place was semi busy with people chatting and sitting inside. They have a really skinny bench where you can sit and wait but it seemed really sketchy like I would break it LOL. My bf and I ordered their Blueberry Crumble Latte and Cookie Butter Latte. I looooove cookie butter lattes and I HAVE to get it if it's on the menu!
