The prices are great! And the coffee was good too. Much better than other diners.

I've been enjoying breakfast here since I was a toddler. The food is more like a 3 but brings back memories so I will continue to eat here. The service is a definite 5+ because everyone is not only welcome, but they are fast and one guy was very funny. I don't know his name but he acts out different types of styles that eggs are cooked. I only ever get the Chris Special. The ambiance is fun because they have old license plates and memorabilia all over.

We love the way station. Tito, Melissa and Stephanie always make us feel welcome. Tito always remembers our order and we love hearing about his adventures. If you want great food, old charm and a staff that makes it feel like home you gotta give this place your attention. And the ambiance is very welcoming.

Although it looks ok, my stomach was queasy shortly after.

Something was wrong with the way my meal was prepared. Right after I left, I had to make a few bathroom breaks - I know TMI. I was looking forward to a small cafe with good coffee, cheap food. I ordered the sirloin steak with eggs and hashbrowns. I ate only the steak and eggs, then left. Not too long after, I was queasy and very uneasy. This will be one of my few (less than 5) of 300+ reviews to rate a 1-star. The service was nothing special. A "How ya doing today?" Or, "welcome" would've been nice. This place can you some love. Fresh paint...sometimes less is more type theme. Glad I came here, now I know.

Great old school diner. Portions were generous, and they were very kid friendly. Everyone loved all the food we ordered. The pancakes were excellent!

    How are the hash browns?

Ask for them extra crisp when you order. They aren't "standard" -- tend to be a bit mushier (not the best word) rather than distinct shreds. But they're tasty and plentiful! The portions are BIG at this café.

The place has limited seating but I always grab my drink to go. The customer service was cool. They were busy so it seemed most of the focus was on getting the drinks out and served. The coffee is why you come here! I totally get why Henry's Coffee is popular. You get well-crafted drinks from baristas who care about their work. My go-to orders are the raspberry honey latte and the honey latte. I get them iced and I can taste the delicious espresso and it is not too sweet or diluted with milk. If I am in the area more, I would come to Henry's Coffee more often. I tend to go when I am visiting family.

The inside is a shared space with an optometrist but everything feels very cohesive and homey. They had a winter menu with peppermint, gingerbread, and other festive ingredients for your drinks. We ordered an iced ube matcha and an iced regular matcha. We sat in the lounge couch while we waited for our drinks. We originally ordered two 16oz drinks, but mine came out in a 12oz size. We checked our digital receipt to make sure and sure enough they were both 16oz drinks. So I went to the counter to let them know. They took my 12 oz matcha (which looked delicious), and then like a minute later, handed me a 16oz matcha. To be honest, the new matcha looked slightly different in color. I didn't see them remake my new drink, but it felt like they took my 12 oz, put it in a 16oz cup, and just added milk to make up the difference. The ube matcha is great if you enjoy ube. It's sweet without it being too sweet. The green (matcha) and purple (ube) when mixed together will get you a mud color, so take those photos before and after mixing, haha. It tastes great though! The regular matcha was ok. It's hard to rate because of the mix up. I'm not sure if that was representative of their regular matcha, in which case, I do wish it had a stronger matcha flavor. It wasn't a weak drink, but it still tasted too milky. If they did indeed just add more milk to make up the difference in their mistake, then that would explain why it wasn't as strong, in which case that 12oz original drink would've been perfect. While we did sit in the patio, there is a restaurant a few doors down, and one of the workers there comes out for a cigarette break pretty often and the smell does blow over to this patio, which was unfortunate. We also got whiffs from the sewer nearby. Not sure if that's a daily thing but good to know for next time.

This Japanese-inspired bakery offers SCV visitors some incredible, one-of-a-kind beverages, breads and pastries that are out of this world! Simple concept: deliver quality, homemade offerings that are fresh, free of additives and preservatives and are downright delicious. The premium matcha powder with your choice of milk, blended with a wonderfully cloud-like cream that will make your tastebuds dance with delight. In addition to these beverages, we couldn't resist a couple of the homemade bakery items, the French Toast and Matcha Croissant. Both were fluffy, delicious and absolutely perfect for sharing. The staff at this small, boutique shop in a retail-heavy area of downtown Newhall are super friendly, efficient, and experts at drink and food preparation. The prices are more than fair given the premium product quality. Prepare to wait in line that is typically stretched outside the small space, but trust me, it's worth it. It seemed as though there were about 10-12 tables inside, and all the employees work with one another to wait on the tables. We showed up around 10:45am on a Saturday morning, and to our surprise there was no wait. We were sat immediately and ordered a cappuccino and Arnold Palmer to drink. Then, I ordered the Salmon Benny with home potatoes, while my partner ordered the Churro waffle combo. It did take about half an hour to get our food, but it was well worth how fresh everything tasted. My salmon benny came on an everything bagel with cream cheese, and the salmon was served cold (in a delicious/ good way, not like it was frozen. I just wanted to make a note of this because usually when eating a salmon benedict the salmon gets warm from the temperature of the english muffin and egg). Then, the home potatoes had onions, and bell peppers and I kept commenting on how fresh the bell peppers tasted. My partner had the churro waffle with eggs, sausage and bacon. They really nailed the churro flavor of the waffle. Both our plates were completely devoured with no leftovers to take home. For our two drinks, two entrees (and the added combo to the churro waffle) it ended up being $53, which we found to be extremely reasonable for the quality, portion size, and service provided. The only thing I would mention was the parking lot gets a little crowded. They share a parking lot with the other stores in the plaza, and there were several spots open only because there were a lot of bigger cars who were over the line.
