Claudia gives the most amazing facials!! I've never been much into spa treatments, but I made an exception for hers. I have very sensitive skin and always manage to irritate it with products at home, but even with her pumpkin peels and microdermabrasion my skin was always left looking fresh with no redness. I got European facial done for the first time here. My skin is very sensitive and mixed- oily and dry at times. I have been to other places too fir different kind of facials. But the specialist who does your facial makes a big difference . I got my facial done by Leticia at luv the Look, she was just awesome. I am kind of person who doesn't right reviews for anybody but today after facial treatment I had to write for her. She was very gentle, knew her work very well. She tried to understand my skin type before starting her treatment too. Only reason M giving 4 stars and not 5 , is because of the ambiance and the background music was awful . Usually we go to such places to get relaxed but here ambiance sucked. The Ac fan made horrible noise - that too it was right on top of my head. Every few minutes it will turn on and off. Music wasn't relaxing at all. But I should appreciate Leticia ,she made every possible effort to make me feel comfortable . Then she gave me back and neck massage too which was total bliss. This was my first visit at luv the look. I went in for waxing. Normally i would go to European wax but decided to give this place a chance. The prices are so much better as well as no one is really being pushy with trying to sell you products. Sarah helped me, she is amazing, sweet and funny! I walked in nervous because this was a new location and i didn't know what to expect and i'm also not the greatest when it comes to change. Sarah made me feel very comfortable and there was no pain. She finished and i didn't realize we were done. The atmosphere was relaxing.I had been getting waxed at EuropeanWax for some time and not once did they ever tell me not to work out or sweat after waxing. Sarah explained to me why and it made so much sense. I plan on making this my regular location. Will continue coming back to Sarah and will be seeing her soon. STAY AWAY from this place!! If I could give NO stars, I would! After my experience today, I couldn't hold back, especially after reading all the negative reviews and how RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL the "owner" CLAUDIA GOMEZ is!!! Some of the reviews are similar to my experience, especially the review from Chee Z from one month ago. Before I get started Claudia I'm sure will respond back saying that I was yelling and very aggressive over the phone like I've seen on her other responses. She's never the problem, it's always the customer. I previously purchased a Groupon 3 facial deal for $111 back in March. I've had plenty of facials in the past, and like previous yelpers mentioned, they seem to be newbies and are very timid and don't give you any tips on what you can do to improve your skin.. I figured you get what you've paid for. I had one last facial left so I figured I paid for it, might as well use it, but I was not planning on going back after that. Last week maybe 9/11 or 9/12 (Ask Claudia, they keep all the records of communication according to her) I called to make an appt. By the way, nobody ever answers the phone they have to call you back. Sometimes the same day or not. Left a msg if there was an appt. available on Sat. 9/15. They called back leaving a message saying that date was full but they had an appt. available Sat. 9/22 at 10am. I called back and left a message to confirm but then later got a call back saying the 10 was taken but they had a 2pm. Mind you, if you like playing phone tag all day long, this is the place. When I confirmed with the 2pm appt, the receptionist states that they now require a credit card on file in case of a cancellation. I told her I didn't have to do this my last 2 visits, and that I didnt feel comfortable leaving a credit card on file due to me having fraud on my cards. She said they had a meeting last week and this is the "new policy." I said, so if I don't leave a credit card I can't make the appointment, and she said "yes". I told her then I would have to call back. I called today and left a message to have the owner call me and to see if the Sat. 2pm was still available and if the owner could call me back so I can discuss the credit card issue. Honestly, I didn't expect the appt to still be available 4 days later but I wouldn't of know if I didn't ask. If it wasnt available I was planning on picking a different date. I don't know who called me back but the person I spoke too(it wasnt the owner, who I initially asked to call me back) started off saying the appt. was already taken(which I don't have a problem with) and that they've called me several times (two times and I called back each time) and left me several emails (I've received ZERO emails from them)! I started explaining about leaving the credit card on file. She was very abrupt and defensive which made me defensive because my issue wasn't the date being taken it's the credit card. I paid $111 for this service and I don't have money to throw away. As I'm speaking to this person someone else's voice answers and they don't state who they are, but I said, isn't this a different person, she says yes, this is the owner Claudia. The other lady never says, let me have you speak to Claudia. Then Claudia starts with, that I was yelling and that she could hear me across the room. Mind you, I was on lunch on the breakroom with my co workers (5) of them and not one of them said I was "yelling". She continues that it's always been there policy but that there now just reinforcing it. That it's stated on there website and it's posted in the office. Well Claudia that's great, but if you would of asked for it at my first appointment I would of cancelled my Groupon and would of went somewhere else. So according to your receptionist you had a meeting last week and this is the "New" policy according to her. Maybe your staff isn't aware it's on the website or the signs in your office. I did check the website and I do see what you are talking about. This should of been reinforced from day one. I never pick places where I need to leave a credit card on file. Sorry! So I did make Claudia aware that I would contact Groupon, make a Yelp review and contact the Better Business Bureau. She said go ahead! Anyone that's had an awful experience with this owner or business contact Groupon and they will give you a partial refund of what was left on your Groupon. Next complaint is with BBB!!This owner is so RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!! Stay away!! There's other businesses that do better facials and have better management in the near by vicinity. read more

So, my Groupon for a European facial here expired a year ago. Bought it as a gift for my mother and she was too busy to use it. I called and asked them how that works because I was going to redeem it and use it myself since my mom couldn't.......the lady informs me I need to pay the difference of what the original price is...not honor the Groupon I payed for....yet they are offering the SAME EXACT deal for the same exact price currently on groupon!!! It is actually CHEAPER for me to just buy a brand new Groupon for the same thing than pay the difference of the full price they want me to pay...that's what's just a little ridiculous to me......this happened to me at another place and they were offering the same deal I purchased and had no problem letting me use the groupon even though it was expired (because they still had the same deal going) So I'm sure this is obvious, but if you buy one from this place be sure to use it before it expires because they are money hungry and don't have good customer service read more

I purchased a deal directly from the spa for 3 facials. For my 1st appointment I went in and the lady in front of me was told she did not have an appointment even though she had booked it with them for this day and time. She even re arranged her schedule to make it happen and was a repeat client. She told me this happens often. I hoped my appointment was on the books since I drove from Long Beach. But my appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks from today (I was not even in town for when they had me scheduled). Based on what appeared to be the norm I decided I could not drive that far and be told this so I asked for my money back. In the process of this happening, the clerk was on the phone with the owner. The clerk stated that my appointment was scheduled for next week (not 2 weeks from today) and then said yes it is booked for 12/27 which is 2 weeks away. They agreed to refund my money. I wished the other guest luck who said thank you I need it. She is the one that alerted me to the issues she has already had with them when it comes to scheduling and heard the clerk give me 2 different dates. TO MY SHOCK AND THE OWNER WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO OFFER ME A HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. CLAUDIA GOMEZ, THE OWNER calls me saying she does not appreciate me belittling her employee in front of another customer and hopes to never see me again!
