I'm not sure how this place got such good reviews. I give it one star for the facial and one star for the lack of professionalism by the management. I purchased a Groupon for 3 facials, and when I went for my first facial, the technician was not great. She was so timid about touching my face, it felt like she used a feather. Since it was supposed to be a microdermabrasion, this was not good. Unfortunately, the same woman made a second appointment with me, and I didn't know how to ask for another technician without being rude. Instead, I decided to talk to someone when I canceled and ask for a new technician. They don't answer the phone often, and frankly, I'm a bit impatient to wait to listen to the entire 3 minute message (nor did I want to leave a message that the original technician might hear). So I kept calling back hoping to talk to someone, and it didn't happen. Finally, the day before my appointment, I left a message and canceled. It turns out that the final message did not make it within a 24-hour cancellation policy, and the next I heard from them was a slightly rude message saying I owed them $25. I was a little surprised. I was within a few hours of the 24-hour policy, and I had made a good faith effort. It was also my first time cancelling, and normally businesses give you a leeway. Not Luv the Look. I called back and talked to a very rude manager who told me in no uncertain terms that they could not accommodate me, and that the original technician was fired (but then why didn't they address the issue earlier? or apologize for the terrible facial? or just waive the fee?). At the end of the phone call, the manager HUNG UP ON ME. Granted, emotions were high, but I don't think any line was crossed in terms of civil behavior. Until she hung up. It was rude and unprofessional and I don't have the time to deal with such behavior. A terrible facial and terrible customer service. I lose money by not going back and finishing my groupon, but I will gain some sanity by not having to deal with them again. Update: most of what was responded was not true. I was never given another appointment with another aestician, because the first time I talked to anyone about the issue was when I was told I would be charged $25. I NEVER said I would write a bad yelp review out of revenge -- again the manager was not paying attention -- I specifically said, I would write a bad yelp review NOT out of revenge but out of honestly, because my experience was so bad. Regardless, the response of the owner once again shows how unprofessional they are. If any of the things they supposedly did actually happened, the situation would not have escalated. How could it have? Sounds like a nice way to resolve it, but unfortunately I never got that opportunity read more

I came here for the first time, bought it from groupon to try europian facial, and they only did wash my face, steam for awhile, scrub and no extraction was done, i was expecting that they will really extract even whiteheads but nothing! and after scrubbing they put some mask (which makes my face feels so hot and red, i got so scared so the lady wipe off the mask) so before you try coming here, make sure you get your skin tested on there products esp when u have sensitive skin. read more

Don't ever go here for a Brazilian wax. I made the mistake to give this place a shot by purchasing a Groupon and I had the worst experience ever. I have been waxing for over 8 years now and I have a high pain tolerance, but the esthetician who waxed me seemed new as she was very aggressive. The esthetician kept waxing my upper lip area over 3 times, which is the most sensitive spot and very painful. The wax got stuck so she had to use scissors to cut it off since she couldn't peel the wax off correctly. The esthetician left me very red with bumps and a piece of my upper lip peeled. I went to Luv the Look salon for my first waxing experience. Sarah helped me calm my nerves and I felt so comfortable the waxing was over before it hurt! They have a Wednesday Waxing special so I only paid $12. I didn't have the physical coupon yet they still honored the price. The salon is very clean. New tools were used and I didn't have any concerns of anything being unsanitary. In fact, Sarah cleaned off the table and put a clean roll of table paper after I finished. The place is very hygienic, the waiting area feels cozy, the actual salon is big and the rooms are a good size. Overall, I had a great experience and will be returning to see Sarah. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I had a appt for day in April at 9 AM. Due to a family emergency I am not in town and have to reschedule. I called the day before at 11 am & because I was 2 Hrs after 9 am they want to charge me a $25 rescheduling fee because it was not within the 24 hours. I asked there was anyway to wave the fee since I would just like to reschedule and I was only 2 hours after 9 am which makes it 22 hours in advance. She was rude and made it clear that there was no way to help me out. She definitely has terrible customer service. Not to mention she said she was the owner. Never have I met a owner of a company so rude & that would be willing to lose a customer over a 2 hour difference. read more

From start to finish I had a wonderful experience! The location was a bit hard for me to find but once I got there it was cute and quaint, the staff was friendly and welcoming the minute I walked in. Gloria, who performed my facial, (I got the microdermabrasion with pumpkin peel) was also super friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything to me every step of the way which I appreciate. I'm very torn leaving this review. I had the facial 2 wks ago through Groupon. On one side, my esthetician was a very sweet girl and the place was clean and accomodating. On the other hand, I'm not sure if she was lazy or just unknowledgeable but she claimed that my face was so smooth after cleansing and exfoliating that it didn't need extraction. Uuhhh if you know me, my face is one of those that perhaps needs extraction every other day. That's the main reason, I get facials! Ok so im definitely not one to leave reviews but this was easily the worst facial ive ever had. I came in early to fill out paperwork as recommened and i still had to wait atleast 25 min. Without anyone acknowledging the fact ive been sitting there they just took me in and got me started. My esthetician had no knowledge of what she was doing. Her answers were very short and unsure when i asked her questions. Which made me feel very uncomfortable. The number one reason why i came to get a facial was to get my blackheads cleaned out and if i wouldnt have asked her she wouldnt have done which was annoying because it should be included in a facial! This place was just OK. I think they get a lot of Groupon clients so they try to maximize it and just really get you in and out, at least after the initial waiting at their waiting room. I gifted two other people facials here and the experience was the same for them, nothing fancy just straight basic fast facials. The Esthetician that did my facial was very nice and friendly she talked to me the whole time though so there was really no room to relax. On top of that I can hear the other Esthetician and her client in the other room, there is no actual door to this place so you can hear everything that's going on in the studio. read more

Because of my overactive pores, the session took longer than it should've but Sarah was so patient and did not rush the job. So my face was super dry and looking dull because I havent been exactly taking care of it... I yelped a place that does facials and Luv the Look came up, turns out they were doing a groupon... So I called them to make an appointment and they were able to take me in the same day.... They are located inside the Phenix Salon Suites, I was not familiar in the area so I called them twice to make sure that I wasnt going in the wrong place... The spa was clean. Lorraine did my european facial and it was awesome! I haven't done an extraction before but she made me feel relaxed the entire time... I came across this place while scrolling through my fave website, groupon. They had a group deal for 29 facial and I have never gotten one before, so i said WHY NOT? After purchasing the groupon, I then make an appointment for a facial with Lorraine. They were super fast and was able to book the appointment. I saw they were having an awesome deal, by one Brazilian wax and get your next free and so i booked an appointment with Lorraine as well for that service. Lorraine is an amazing esthetician. I found this location on Groupon! My initial impressions of this place was great. I spoke with Claudia and made a same day appointment. She was very friendly and informative over the phone. I arrived 5 minutes early and they were aware of who I was and took care of me right away. My esthetician was Lorraine she was kind and really attentive to answer all of my questions. She took care of my areas of concerns and gave me a relaxing massage. The pumpkin peel was very intense the first few minutes upon application but Lorraine was fanning my face until the sensation went away! Best 60 minutes that I've had. I love that they really care about your overall well being. Defenitely will be returning with my mother so that she can be taken care of like I did today. Great job ladies! read more
