I was told that I would receive a call when my dogs were ready. After about two hours, I called the salon myself and was informed that they were finished. When I arrived, it took some time before I was able to see my dogs. I was shocked to discover that both had been completely shaved. This was not what I expected, and no one had discussed this level of clipping with me beforehand. Given the freezing winter temperatures, I was especially concerned about my dogs being left with almost no coat. To make matters worse, a staff member suggested that I purchase coats for them because of the cold weather. I paid for the service and left, but I was extremely dissatisfied with the outcome. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this grooming salon. If I could give zero stars, I would.

My family has been using the Fur Machine for Shane's grooming needs. The Fur Machine, as evidenced by their high rating average, is a reputable grooming shop that provides a sundry of services for dogs and cats. My firsthand experience with this highly reputable business took place last week when I visited my family. A couple of days short of Shane's one year anniversary, it was time to give him a haircut. He is a labradoodle that requires a lot of grooming. When we arrived at the Fur Machine, an enthusiastic staff greeted us. They seemed to adore animals. Shane seemed to pick up on this positive vibe. This visit was on a busy day. The enthusiastic woman who took in Shane promised that he would be ready in two-and-a-half hours. Keeping to her word, a newly groomed Shane was ready by the promised time. If Shane could Yelp, he would say that "The Fur Machine did a fantastic job grooming me. She actually met me and my fur baby outside, which immediately made me feel comfortable. She even took us in early and allowed my fur son to walk around and get familiar with the space before starting--something I truly appreciated. She took the time to ask me exactly what I wanted and also gave helpful suggestions based on her expertise. You can tell she really cares about both the pets and their owners. Her shop smells amazing and is extremely clean, which is so important to me. I also loved that there were no cages--only play pens--creating a calm, safe, and welcoming environment. Her crew truly feels like family. Everyone there was so loving, gentle, and attentive. You can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in. I'm new to the neighborhood and always get nervous leaving my fur baby anywhere, but Ms. Lori completely put me at ease. I also love that she doesn't have dogs sitting around for hours waiting--everything feels intentional and well-managed. And the results... AMAZING! My fur baby looked absolutely perfect. She was very sweet and all of her staff was as well. Chip immediately took to her so that made me feel extremely comfortable. He's always so nervous getting groomed, but this time, I didn't feel like we had to worry. We didn't give her a whole lot of context about how we wanted him to be groomed and she NAILED it! Wow! She was lighting speed, he was literally done in about 45 minutes (which is terrific bc this little guy gets anxious typically, but I don't feel like he would be there!). We have had our dog for 9 years and he's been groomed by a variety of places. He has NEVER walked out of a place smelling so clean and fresh EVER! He comes home fluffy and beautiful with soft hair. He doesn't even mind going to Briana. The last groomer that he went to he would lay down in the parking lot and refuse to walk in.
