This place is so cute! They have real life mixologist and it's a whole experience. There is so much more to this place than just a bar. You can do speed dating, scavenger hunts, play PlayStation or Xbox, and even have romantic evening here. This place is what every wide eyed entrepreneur dreams of when they want to open a local bar. An eccentric place where people come to have fun, laugh, play, be silly, listen to local music and just forget all the crap going on outside its door. Then the business aspect kicks in and all that fun local stuff gets stripped away because people say you can't make money with that business model. Well enter Zyi Li, a charismatic dreamer who works at the bar daily and practices what he preaches. Order the drink that says Zyi will give you a hug? Zyi does it with 100% enthusiasm and joy. This place has games (which are still in good condition, but we'll see how long that lasts), super unique/instagrammable drinks (which are crazy expensive ranging from $12-18 per drink), and local music (even though seating can get challenging sometimes). It has a few instant food items that you can pick up from the grocery store for half the cost (instant oatmeal, ramen, mac and cheese, for about $5-$6 a piece) or you can order from any of the restaurants in the plaza (menu items included in the LuvWoo menu). Despite all of these negatives, the dream of this place, the infectious charisma of the owner, and the hope it all succeeds really makes you root for it. My loved ones and closest friends came here with me for my birthday a few months back and we were immediately greeted and introduced to all of the owners of the bar - Andrew (Zyi Li) and his beautiful wife Jenny. They were not lying about thier slogan inspired by love: "We treat everyone with love, want to socialize and chit-chat, and be your friend!" Andrew broke out his sax and played happy birthday for me and showered our table with bubbles. Jenny understood the assignment for parties in my group who did not want to drink but wanted to still celebrate with me. She made lemonade shots for those friends and even took on my "Dealers Choice" challenge I like to give bartenders by crafting a fruit based vodka based cocktail with Earl Gray tea that tasted just like the milk of Fruit Loops cereal somehow. They craft each drink with precision and perfection so we did not mind how long it took. They do not serve food but you can order food from vendors near by who will bring it to you. We ordered some of the best beef rib tips I've ever had in my entire life from a place nearby that I can't remember! The pics say it all!!! Their bar is bright, intimate and prepared for karaoke, live music and small gatherings. My husband, a friend, and I visited Luvwoo bar for the first time last weekend and we loved it! The owners and staff all approached us at some point in the evening and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I can't remember the names of the drinks, but I ordered the drink with an edible butterfly and one of the tequila cocktails. They accidentally gave me a glass straw that wasn't fully clean, which they very swiftly replaced when I brought it up. At the end of the night they gave me 50% off my drinks for the straw mishap as a surprise! That wasn't necessary, so we left a large tip to make up for most of that discount. My husband got a drink where you get cinnamon sprinkled over a lit match to make it spark. He also got a Manhattan. And our friend got an old fashioned which had their logo pressed into the big ice cube and then and then was smoked. Everyone enjoyed their drinks! During our visit one of the owners played the sax by request and was fantastic. There was a local dj's setlist playing the rest of the night. The bar features local artists' art on the walls and you can purchase the art if it interests you. They have a lot of events each month. Trivia night sounds fun! We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back! I recommend everyone give this bar a try! read more

The pepper limeade has a profile somewhat similar to a Bloody Mary, with the citrus + spice combo. As someone who often finishes drinks quickly, it was nice to be made to slow down and experience this powerful yet refreshing treat. My husband found this place on Yelp when we we searching for a place to go for drinks after dinner. The menu is extensive and filled with more craft cocktails than you could think of. Between 6 of us we must've tried 15 or more and they were all delicious. The service is A+++ and many of the drinks we ordered had table side additions like smoke bubbles. We loved the vibe of the place as it was low key but felt upscale. Towards the end of our night, the owner even played "Happy Birthday" on the saxophone for 2 of our friends. My boyfriend and I came in on a whim on a quiet sunday evening. Didn't want to spend the night in, so we went out to Luvwoo instead. We sat at the bar and had amazing conversation with the owner, her husband and their bartender. You can tell they value uniqueness, craftsmanship/showmanship and making you feel valued! The owners husband played the saxophone (and immediately killed it), the music was all really well selected and the drinks were high quality. My boyfriend and I each got a few drinks: He got the secret garden, which is a a matcha based drink with vodka that is paired with a matcha-misu desert. They were both creamy and smooth and the drink wasn't too boozy- as in the matcha wasn't overpowered! We enjoyed it best with a spoonful of the misu and a sip of the drink. They have 3 seasonal drinks on their menu currently and with the owners bartending skills and creativity, it looks like that there is possibility that will be rotated with each season and with what she can dream up! I had a seasonal drink as well as their signature, the Luvwoo. It was punchy and refreshing. Bright pink and had edible glitter, so it was really appealing to my unapologetically girly side. We also tried their Jailhouse Rock- a playful drink that takes on some elements of the Elvis Burger. As someone who doesn't much care for whiskey... and for a drink with 3 whiskeys in it... it was so. freaking. delicious. First time I've ever enjoyed a whiskey drink. An absolutely knock out and a must try. They have a lot of fun with woodsmoke and liquid nitrogen. This place is awesome and we will be coming back! Long story short: this bar is amazing if you're looking for a place to hang out with people you love and want something a bit nicer than a pool hall. It's not a big location, but that plays to its advantage. It feels close knit and cozy. They even have purse hooks at the bar (blew my mind!) We got to play a board game with the owner and an employee and just spend time together enjoying their showmanship.
