Perfect bar in the heart of Dogtown! While I've only been here a few times, each time is better than the last. After an abysmal dinner, there was nothing I wanted to do more than get a proper drink and relax. I pulled up (surprisingly was able to get a spot right in front) and walked in to a lively inside. The bartender was super friendly, as were the other patrons. After scanning the spirits, I started a tab and got my favorite three olives grape with sprite. A friend ended up joining me and after staying in the inside for about 10 or so mins, we ventured outside. It seems like this is where majority of the people were and then again, why wouldn't it be? They have multiple tvs, ample seating, a bar outside, and a fireplace! We made our way to one of the high tops and people watched whilst sipping our drinks. Eventually, we started chatting with some other patrons and the rest is history. This is an ideal spot for any day of the week, especially on game days! The pictures I have don't do this place justice as it's truly a Dogtown favorite. I can't wait to come back.

One of my very favorite bars! I've been here multiple times and I'm always happy visiting and spending time here. The vibe is upbeat but chill, and they have a great year round patio. This visit in particular was on Mardi Gras, which was a great spot to have a couple drinks without actually heading down to Soulard. We sat on the heated patio and had a couple of drinks and were able to chat while still hearing one another. Bartenders are always helpful and friendly, and they have a good selection of beverages. I typically go for the 4Hands seltzers since they're my fav. It got to be super packed full of Mardi Gras go-ers, so we headed out after about an hour and a half. Always a good choice!

Great courtyard out back Food from nomad You have to order your drinks at the bar and bus your own tables Gameroom and fireplace too.

Ambiance here is way cool. The service was perfectly acceptable. Reason for not 5 starts is that Bloody Mary could've been SO much better with some additional accoutrements... The flavor was GREAT, but for the price paid, I think it should've been dressed up a little more. Just my opinion... But I'd come back.

I was mostly on the back mostly covered patio... Just follow the path to the left of the building with the K-9 sign. It was a dog friendly patio and kids showed up and listened to DJ Stan the Man. The main area patio behind the actual Tamm Bar has tables and a bar to order from. Down a few steps you walk into bar/restrooms area. This is were I saw the mirror telling me to "Dive in" Opposite of the Tamm Bar across the patio is a large room. There is a covered room with games including a large connect-4 game, video games and a general place to play and hang-out. The set-up is nice place to relax.

Casual dining in Dogtown, but really special offerings and not your typical pub grub. Best salad, kimchi brussel sprouts to name a couple of dishes. Served hamburgers as well which looked amazing . The fries were really tasty! Nice bar service and choices. Orders taken at register and brought to your table by number. Great pub !

I love Tamm Ave's patio ! While they may not have the beer you want on tap, they will have a can of something you'll enjoy--such a large selection. Occasionally have live music. Connected to Nomad; you can order food from your table.

Orders: Local Craft Beers | Nomad Cheeseburger & Kimchi Brussels Sprouts Love this bar!! Have only ever enjoyed the outdoor seating (with a fire going during winter to keep cozy, so expect to smell like campfire, but hey that's winter lyfe) & am such a fan. Patio is dog-friendly, has a smattering of tv's to enjoy some sportsball if that's your thing & tons of great beers and delicious grub! I've always found the bartenders to be pleasant & patient with me as I choose the funnest looking canned beer - a strategy often not appreciated in the craft beer scene. But I go where the art goes! & they've always been really great in helping me find my faves. A semi-regular spot for me! Highly recommend!! Ps they have a sweet indoor/outdoor barcade park it's skiball & stuff. Way fun!

Kitchen not open on Monday nights, they should post this somewhere so people won't come down expecting to eat. We sat for about 5 mins, no one came over and said anything to us, so my husband went to the bar to asked about the kitchen. That's when we found out the kitchen being closed on Mondays

Some of the best bartenders in STL. Good prices, great vibes, and good drinks! I would for sure recommend coming here with your friends.

Expensive drinks with bartenders who don't understand mixology. And no food. Definitely not a community bar. Like Seamus or Pat connolys

From occasional piano bar to karaoke. This is probably hands down one of my top 3 favorite bars when it comes to having a consistent tasting cocktail. We had several shots that night and surprisingly they had pizza! So, we ordered a sausage pizza as well. The bartenders are amazing there and I always have a great experience!

The bartenders were helpful and I appreciated how they had a specific spot to stand if you wanted to place an order. Genius! They had live music when we got there and it was quite loud so it was hard to talk to people at our table, but we managed. They had some bar games that some people were playing and the atmosphere was just right for a chill Friday night. Some of my friends were hungry so they ordered a pizza which looked good. It was typical bar food so they said it was just okay, but since they were hungry, it was enjoyed! They have some seating outside, but it was too cold to be out there. But I can see this being a fun spot in warmer weather! Bathrooms were clean which was impressive for a Friday night.

I particularly like how the menu has illustrations of the cocktails so you know how they are served. Plus everything is seasonal! For food, I give it a 4/5. The appetizers, including the cauliflower, onion rings, and poutine are excellent but the entree menu is limited to mostly sandwiches and I've found the entrees just ok-to-good for the price. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends

We loved how they had the garage door open for the air to come in on the nice day. The bar / high top are had plenty of space and was very comfortable. They had a great happy hour around 3pm, both our appetizers were on the happy hour menu, as well as our Pinot Grigio drinks. The food was excellent, we had focaccia bread, and fried calamaris. We didn't have them but the wagu sliders and chicken lollipops both were popular at the other table. We also got a white chocolate tiramisu to go that was fantastic. Great bread = Great dessert Really appreciated our waitress / bartender that day, she said she had four grown kids of her own, as well as appreciated the rest of the staff. Let me start by saying my waitress was lovely, great service and great attitude. So in that…read morerespect, the meal was pleasant. Unfortunately though, this restaurant seems to have a case of quantity over quality in terms of food items. There are far too many things on the menu for them to perform well at all 40+ menu offerings, or at least that's my opinion of what might be going on here. I ordered a glass of prosecco and the prosciutto con melon appetizer to start. This was actually quite nice flavor wise but if you're going to charge $22 bucks for an appetizer you better load my plate up with prosciutto!!! For me personally, 3 pieces of prosciutto, a pile of arugula and some cantaloupe is not worth 22 dollars. I then ordered a side beet salad and mushroom ravioli. This is where things took a turn for the worse. Beet salad was decent, I just wish they put more of the toppings. Was basically just a bowl of arugula. The mushroom ravioli was sadly a let down for me. The pasta was rolled far too thin on top of the filling and far too thick on the sides so unfortunately the tops of the ravioli were paper thin and overcooked while the sides were still raw. Really unappetizing to cut a ravioli open and see raw pasta. Honestly the flavor was pretty rich but not terrible it's just the ravioli itself wasn't well executed. The lovely waitress noticed that I wasnt completely satisfied and took the ravioli off the check. I ordered some "wagyu" sliders that were juicy but in desperate need of some salt. She also offered me a free dessert which was a warm olive oil cake which had a nice orange flavor to it. Honestly quite a nice ending to an underwhelming meal. Would come back for drinks, though.
