I wasn't given a full-body skin exam and, more importantly, I wasn't even given the opportunity to fully explain my specific concerns, including skin issues and symptoms I wanted evaluated because of my medical condition. The doctor seemed more focused on getting through the appointment quickly than actually listening to why I was there. I understand offices can run behind, but patients should not have their appointments rushed because of it. Afterward, I was expected to continue waiting even longer despite explaining that I needed to return to work. When I expressed that I was unhappy with the visit and asked for my copayment back because I did not feel I received the care I came for, they refused. I took time off work, paid my copay, and waited to be seen. The very least I expected was enough time to explain my concerns, have them properly evaluated, and feel like the doctor actually cared about why I was there. Unfortunately, I left feeling completely unheard and like my concerns did not matter.
