Would give zero stars if possible. OWNERS ARE NOW DELETING REVIEWS THAT AREN'T THEIR PAID HIGH REVIEWS. My manicure began poorly with the distracted nail tech cutting off all my nails after I'd just answered that I did not want them cut. Then followed painful cutting into nail beds, cuticles & nails with nippers & excessive sawing with electric drill/file. I did not have tips/fake nails/acrylic - this was to be just a traditional manicure with gel polish. When I expressed discomfort, the lady sighed in frustration, paused a couple seconds, then went back to it. I purposefully tried zoning out after that, just staring out the window or at the dusty & food -covered station next to us that appeared to be being used as a desk. Another red flag: noticing that the light being used to cure the polish was excessivelv burning, to the point I was pulling my hands back out for a bit when she put the lamp on them. My daughter wanted acrylic tips, showed a pic to the assigned nail tech; they discussed the nail shape, length & pretty basic nail art which the young lady assured her was no problem - her requests were then also ignored while the tech complained incessantly about family. Her nail beds & cuticles were also aggressively mangled, excessive acrylic product left on nails, leaving them too "high" & nail polish result not what was requested. There were several instances that we tried to halt or question unsuccessfully. I held up my newly polished fingers to show the nail tech that several of mine had humps/lumps/ mounds at the end at about a 15 degree rise but was seriously told repeatedly that "that's how my nails grow"?! When my daughter tried to stop her polish application that wasn't what was agreed on or discussed, she was told that would require starting over & would be an additional $40 on top of the $110 we weren't aware was being charged. When I was done, I stepped out to my car to take a call, leaving my card with daughter to pay. We were almost home before I looked at the receipt & discovered I'd been charged $160. That was for a basic manicure w/ gel polish & new acrylic nail tips with nail "art". I was not happy but chalked it up to a bad visit & knew we wouldn't be going back. The breaking point & reason for me leaving this negative review (& pursuing the issues with the state health & Cosmetology boards) was when our nails/polish started hurting, like an ache - more so on mine with their odd lumps at the end. We were able to get in quickly with another salon & they began the repair process. My daughter's polish was removed & the excessive thickness filed down - we know now that nail pain was because of the damaging pressure being put on the nail bed, permanently weakening the nail bed if left untended. Since the original nail tech gave daughter pointy/stabby shaped nails vs the almond shape requested, that had to be filed down, resulting in much shorter nails than desired. As my gel polish was being removed, we discovered "something" on a few of the weird lumpy nails: it looked like either acrylic had been applied OR some of my just-cut-off nails had landed there & then been painted over? Still not positive (see pix) but know that too-thick gel polish application + unstable nail lamp can cause burning because of over-curing. That can lead to onycholysis, where the nail bed separates from nail plate. It could have also been friction-burn from the heavy-handed filing/ sawing. Unsure. but when the salon refuses to make amends by issuing a refund (I didn't ask for the additional $100+ I'm out for repairing their massive fails), they'll obviously continue this route which is unsafe, unsanitary & just wrong? Please do not go here I asked them to scrub my feet and literally left with my feet still dirty and my nail and my daughters nails look like toddlers did them! Willl never ever go back!!! Please save your time they don't even do hot stone or wax and there massage chairs SUCK no discount given just an apology and to fix it another day well I live an hour away and couldn't do that I just wanted to relax but where super glad to take my 110 dollars so mad please don't waste your time read more

My regular place was unexpectedly closed the day I needed my nails done, but I remembered this place had just recently opened so I decided to give it a try. It was only 5 minutes down the road from my regular place. I went in about 5:30 and they didn't start on my nails until around 6:45. They actually close at 7, so I was happy to see that they didn't ask me to come back another day after I had waited for them for so long. There were only 4 technicians working and they all had customers. I don't really know why I sat and waited for so long. Typically, I would have left. Maybe it was their fizzy, bubble-blowing, color-changing modern artwork that was so oddly-satisfying to stare at that helped me to relax. Besides the long wait, my nails turned out quite literally perfect! They are the exact length and shape that I wanted. I really can't complain. They do charge $5 to soak off your nails if you already have a dip-power set on (my other place does not), but I dunno if that's a deal breaker for me! I think Lux may be my new regular place! I love my nails! I'd advise making an appointment though. read more

If I could leave a -0 for a rating I would. This place charged me $29.00 to change my polish. A POLISH CHANGE people. I would think twice before entertaining this place. That's unacceptable and they charge you take the polish off. What a joke and act like it's okay!!!! read more

I heard great reviews about this place but it's the complete opposite. I walk in on a Wednesday looking for a specific technician that was highly recommended the person that spoke to me said she wasn't there and just turned her back around and ignored me. She never said would you like someone else to help you or anything . I had to ask her if I could get any service she turns her back around and said, "what do you need," with a disgusting attitude. I told her acrylic and she said it will be a 1 hour wait. I clearly saw that there were other technicians available as well as herself. I just walk out, said thank you even though her back was turned and on her cell phone, again. She clearly didn't want me in her shop and it showed . All I can say this is a prejudice place to go to. Do not come here. I cannot even breath. I understand being proactive and concerned but I have been required to wear a mask as well as a face mask at the same time and I am really having a hard time breathing right now. I am considering stopping them as I typed because it's hard for me to breath with all these layers of face wear. A word of advice: Make an appointment. Don't do a walk-in. I spent 30 minutes waiting for my pedicure to begin. The woman who did my pedicure was very kind, but seriously lacked attention to detail. When she finished scrubbing my callouses, I noticed that they still needed to be scrubbed down some more. I asked her to work on them some more, and she happily did so. However, she got a little too crazy on my left foot and broke my skin (pic attached). I truly believe it was an accident, but ouch does it hurt when soap or water hits it! The massage was SO DISAPPOINTING. SUPER SUPER DISAPPOINTING. The nail tech put absolutely no effort or muscle behind the foot/leg massage. For that reason alone, it makes me want to try a different place. She did about 1 minute and 30 seconds per leg. It was terrible. Now to the actual paint job. I got a gel polish pedicure. I had to ask a couple times for my nail tech to paint the sides of my nails. She completely missed them. Again, the attention to detail was not there. When I got home, my husband looked at my toes and asked me what happened... Even he could tell that the edges, as seen in the pics, are not evenly painted. Just disappointed in my nail job.
