After looking at it, he explained that it would likely require replacing a pipe and gasket and gave me a very reasonable quote. When he returned on Friday with the necessary supplies, he opened everything up and realized the pipe didn't actually need to be replaced. Instead of doing unnecessary work, he fixed the leak with a much simpler repair. Even better, he charged me significantly less than the original quote because the repair turned out to be easier than expected. It's rare to find someone as honest and professional as Wyatt. He could have easily gone ahead with the original repair, but instead he did only what was needed and passed the savings on to me. I truly appreciate his integrity, professionalism, and quality of work. I highly recommend Orange Crest Pool Repair and Maintenance, and if you have the opportunity, ask for Wyatt. Poolgenx has staffing issues, accounting issues n lacks in customer service. Their management team does not have the time to address issues or return a response to text messages. I have a very large pool that if not cleaned or treated properly will develop yellow algae. Because of Poolgenx staff issues their techs do not pay attention as they are brushing the walls of the pool to add additional chemicals if there is algae. Their rotation of personnel n lack of clients key control, have created a lot of issues. A recent tech never returned the key to my gate. It has taken PoolGenx over a month to provide a lock box for their lack of control. Currently my pool service is in limbo because the current tech does not know who will be assigned to my pool. As to accounting issues, I've had PoolGenx tell me that I was past due on my account about four times. They are set up on auto pay but even then PoolGenx argued that they never received payment. Thank goodness for B of A because they quickly called PoolGenx to confirm payment had been received n they had deposited the check. Finally, when hiring a pool service I have to make sure their staff are good with dogs. I have 2 Boston Terriers n they are very friendly n loving. One pool service company tech used the pool pole that is used to brush the pool to hit one my dogs. I have cameras throughout my property so I can monitor everything, so when I saw that I immediately fired the company. The cameras also confirm how much time techs spent cleaning my pool and how much chemicals are used. It's a shame you cannot trust some service companies to provide the service you are paying for.

All their service technicians are very responsive and reliable. Geo did the first assessment. He answered all my questions and did a good job in the first pool cleaning. My regular technician is Erik, he also answered my questions and concerns. He is doing a great job in maintaining our pool. I would highly recommend their services. The monthly cost is reasonable.

Ceegan, the owner, responded immediately and spent considerable time with me explaining his services, as well as how he would treat our questionable pool chemistry and algae which was beginning to appear in the deep end of the pool. From my discussion with Ceegan, I discerned his extraordinary knowledge of pool water chemistry and proper pool service and management. After just slightly more than two weeks he has cleared the algae and brought the water chemistry within normal standards. In those first weeks, he also cleaned our pool filters to enhance filtration. Ceegan is highly professional and detailed in his approach to pool care and ensures all questions are thoroughly examined and answered. I am impressed that he follows set protocols in addressing pool chemistry issues and ensuring his services are documented in writing and photography. Too many other companies either hire kids or have techs that don't take the time to service your pools. These guys will usually always take their time and stay on top of their cleanings and maintenance. You can also trust these guys with repairs and are very fair with their pricing!

Knowing that we cannot go without a working unit throughout the summer, I needed service quick. Going through Yelp, I texted Superior (because of the great reviews, I needed someone trustworthy). I received a reply from Mike within 10 minutes. After a back and forth on a Friday, sending him all my pool pump information, Mike quoted me on a new motor. By the Saturday, George was at my home installing the new motor. George was very nice, and appeared very knowledgeable. He was done in 2 hours, and left the area clean. The new motor is energy efficient, and to tell you the truth, getting the upgrade/replacement has made a difference. I haven't seen my pump run this well in years. Kudos to Superior for their prompt service and dedication to customers in need!

These guys at Lux Pool Services are awesome, but more importantly, they are honest. I had the opportunity of working with Neno. He confirmed our appt the day prior to his visit and arrived early to our home the next day. The problem I was having is with our pool water heater, it simply stopped working. I called several businesses that offer pool service repair and received only 2 return calls. The other business quoted me $100 just to come out and look at the heater. Neno called me back and said "I'll be over tomorrow and since you are so close I will waive the service call fee". Neno arrived with his co-worker and took a look at our pool water heater. Within just a few minutes he diagnosed the problem and let me know that someone must have accidentally shut off the gas valve, as the heater was not getting enough gas to ignite the flame. After looking in my home camera system, I noticed that my son hit the valve when moving the trash cans out to the street for trash day. After Neno showed me the problem with the gas valve, I felt pretty dumb for not checking the obvious. At the end of the day, I really appreciate the honesty of Neno, as he could have easily charged me to fix something that was not broke or even for his time. Rather, he turned on the gas valve, shook my hand and wished me a good day. Not to mention, he would not accept any $$$ from me. He simply asked that I recommend him to friends and family. I just had Neno fix my spa filter motor. The work was excellent and he also corrected a few issues that he found that the last repair jobs failed to do with no extra charges. I can't say enough, I had a great experience with LUX pool service. Neno replaced my DE filter with a new cartridge system. His prices were fair and his workmanship was top tier. He took the time make, not only work great, but look great too. I will definitely hire him again for any further pool service. read more
