When I arrived I got a little nervous because it's a house and I was used to spa centers and didn't want someone waxing and doing my facial in the kitchen lol I'm glad ignored those nerves (based on previous reviews). Around 4, she came out with her previous client, checked her out, and booked her next appointment before bringing me back. I totally understand that appointments can run over, and things happen, but I felt like there wasn't much acknowledgment of the delay or consideration for my time. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else I needed to be, but if I had, it could have been frustrating. I think what stood out to me most is that if I had shown up 15 minutes late, I likely would have been charged a fee or asked to reschedule. I believe that same respect for clients' time should go both ways. With that being said, I probably won't be back. The space was beautiful and the shop was cute though.

I'm new to the metro-Phoenix area and found Salon Estique through social media when one of their stylists caught my attention. I booked a haircut and partial color, and during the appointment she recommended adding a hydration treatment. I was happy to follow her professional recommendation. The total came to nearly $500, which I was prepared to invest for high-quality results and specialized knowledge. As someone with naturally bouncy curls, it's great to find a curl-focused stylist. Unfortunately, my search continues in metro-Phoenix. The results here were super disappointing. My curls were left flat and lacked their usual shape and volume at the top of my crown. At this price point, I expected a higher level of styling expertise and knowledge that enhanced my natural texture rather than diminished it. My stylist even commented, "I don't know why it's so flat on the top." Me either, sis :( I did get much better results when I washed and styled my hair at home. However, styling was part of the expense and experience. While I don't mind paying for skill, I left feeling disappointed in the overall result. I won't be back to Salon Estique.
