I was so excited when the stars aligned and they were available on a date where I was available. On the day of my appointment, I had a really hard time finding Our Secret Place. It was secretly tucked in a corner. If you struggle to find them. Look for Yoo's Place and they are next door to the left. There is a parking structure nearby that would be the best place to park since the parking spots closer to the spa were limited to 1 hour. When I arrived, the receptionist seemed to know who I was. I must have been their only client that evening. I was further surprised that I didn't have to sign any waivers that you normally do at spas. I was welcomed back to the treatment room and introduced to Angela, my esthetician. Her English seems limited but she was very nice and sweet from our nonverbal interactions. Angela gave me a top to change into for the facial. For those who are unfamiliar with a Bojin facial, it is a Chinese therapeutic technique that massages the face's meridian. I saw that Angela had 3 different jade-looking tools to help her get deep into the meridian points and the muscular fascia. The benefits of a Bojin facial is that it improves the lymphatic drainage, boosts circulation, releases tension, and sculps the face. If you're familiar with gua sha, it's like a gentle relaxing version of gua sha for the face. Angela started off with a cleanse with steam. Wow her massage techniques were sooooo relaxing and soothing. Her hands were so intuitive, and all of the spots she targeted felt like a big relief. It's that amazing feeling during massages where you know your masseuse knows exactly what they're doing. Angela is incredible. I was so relaxed I fell asleep, so sorry if I can't give the full accounts of the experience. When I somewhat woke up, there was still facial massaging and a face mask where she massaged my neck, shoulders, and arms while the face mask was doing its' magic. Then cleansing, moisturizing, serums, the usual. I recommend the Bojin facial for those who want a therapeutic facial massage, with the skin care being secondary. And if you decide to try it, definitely ask for Angela. She's great. I know she also does scalp massages and body massages, so I definitely want to come back to try other services here too.

I'd…read morelike to start by saying that the office staff was always very kind. 360 TUMMY TUCK: 7/10 For the most part, I am still very happy with the tummy tuck procedure. I did have a complicated recovery with necrosis of the belly button, but you would not be able to tell now. My scars are alright, I've definitely seen much better... but I tattooed over mine anyway so it didn't matter much to me. However, during the consultation I made it a huge point that there was a part of my lower back that I was very unhappy with. Dr K documented and explained that it would be lipo'd and he would excise it if necessary. I have a scar in the area, but it looks like it wasn't touched AT ALL. Definitely no lipo in the area, just a normal tummy tuck scar, but it doesn't go all the way under the area of concern. So it looks like he left it untouched. When I brought this up at my several post op appointments, he told me to wait a year. After a year, he brushed it off. I am now left with this incredibly awkward small lump right above my butt crack that has left me incredibly insecure. BREAST IMPLANTS AND NIPPLE LIFT: 1/10 I already had breast tissue (about a 36 C) but deflated after weight loss. I really wanted to fill them back up and make them perky again. Because of how deflated they were, I was expecting to get a breast lift, which other surgeons also mentioned to me. During the consultation, Dr K was very adamant that he would NOT do a lift, because I was in my early 20's. His reasoning was that they would need to be redone after I had kids... so I told him that I do not plan to have children. He told me that I might change my mind - which is absolutely NOT for him to decide or even have a say in. He told me he could do a nipple lift on my right side and it would make them look even and perky without the lift. I trusted him. My nipple is now OVAL ladies. OVAL. Completely mismatched. Extremely embarrassing. I also have had rippling, it feels like the implants are underfilled. I can literally crunch the bags and you can see it. When I lay down, they go to the side completely and my chest is flat. When I bend forward, they droop and look absolutely disgusting. I was also very concerned about the left breasts shifting so much to the side when I work out, that it completely deforms and pulls the bag. He told me "you can't work out your chest." This was a YEAR after surgery. He literally said I cannot work out, and that was the answer. Six years later and I have extremely heavy, sagging implants that are weighing my chest down. My nipples fall over the crease of my breast, and it's extremely uncomfortable and they've made me feel so embarrassed. I am now having to save money to get the lift that I should have gotten 6 years ago, and hoping that another doctor can fix my nipple and the underlying damage. I will never get these past 6 years back (and the next few years that I spend saving up.) So I hope this saves someone else.
