I noticed some burn marks in my clear coat on my hood. Now being that the car was brand new, I panicked & looked around for a detail shop. I saw that Menards had a VERY good reputation already on Yelp & decided to call in for them to look at my car. I spoke with the owner, Grant, & he was actually not even in the area. But he still answered the call! That itself, shows the dedication of this business! We spoke briefly & he said to pass by the shop even though it was almost closing time. I met with Mike, who was very informative about the products that are used & what would be done for a PPF & Level 3 Ceramic coating. Note: The level 3 Ceramic coating package consists of; The entire body receives a 2-Stage paint correction & a minor spot sanding to achieve a 90%-95% perfection, then the body is coated, the wheels(in&out), the calipers, your windows, an engine bay cleaning & a full interior detail. Full protection all around. Now, Mike didn't need to sell me on anything because I had my mind set on purchasing this package. But it was very nice to chat with him about the business & get to know him on a more personal level. My appointment was the week of July 6th, 2020. I was very excited to have this done & very anxious to see how my car was going to come out. Let me tell you, the readers deciding to visit Menards Premium Detailing. THEY DO QUALITY WORK. & Their work speaks for itself. Right now, we are in September & you cannot tell that I have a PPF in the full front of the car. The ceramic coating is holding up very well! & As Mike said, your PPF & Ceramic coating will last as long as you keep up with the maintenance. DO wash your car, but wash it properly. DON'T, leave the car with no washes & no keep up. If properly taken care of, your ppf and/or coating will last for years to come. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend visiting Menards if you're interested in PPF, Ceramic coating or even normal details. They're a quality business that deserves recognition. So, since I was in the Springfield, PA area I decided to stop into that Tint World store location to get some pricing information for what I had in mind. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the front desk representative whose name was "Rose". And, she welcomed me with a friendly "hello" and a "smile'. From there, I explained why I stopped in and Rose was extremely professional, kind, attentive and outgoing & began going over what window tinting options they offered. After going through my options, Rose asked when I was looking to get the tint work done and I asked her if I needed to make an appointment in advance since I just walked-in off the street. It was then she asked me if I'd be interested in getting it done right away since I was already there? At first, I was shocked that they had an opening available. Shortly afterwards, Rose's manager (Ian) came out the shop and confirmed that it would only take an hour to get everything completed. So, I said sure, let's get it done! Honestly, I can say that the entire job only took roughly 45 minutes and I was thoroughly impressed! When they pulled my truck out the bay and brought it around to the front of the store, I was extremely pleased. This was my first time going to Tint World and they were EXCELLENT! From the customer service, attention to detail, great work performed, to how fast they got me in and out at a "decent price", I will definitely go back to them if I decide to do anything else to my truck! I was advised the services would take 3 hours. I woke up early on a Saturday very exited and eager to have my services . Since I was advised the services would only take 3 hours, I called at 11:30am to get a time estimate for pickup. Only to be disappointed with a response from Ian that my car just went back at 11:30 am. 3 hours from then I stopped pass the shop due to me being in the area, and my car was infact in the same spot where I parked at 8:30am. Ian was rude and dismissive. Instead of apologizing he condesenly asked "well do you need your car? You will get a text when it's ready". I got a text at 5:12pm indicating my car would be ready for pickup at 5:40pm. When I arrived, instead of saying sorry for the delay. I was greated when a snarky comment "Better late than never", as if that wasn't unprofessional enough, I was then charged a higher price than I was originally quoted. Even though I have a written quote via text, Ian still fast talked and charged me a higher price. A price that I wouldn't of agreed upon had I known the day I made my appointment. Ian came off very condescending, arrogant, rude, and aggressive. He made this experience horrible for me. Also, many reviews speak on how friendly Moe was with them. With me, he was stoic and did not give off the same friendly, warm vibes I read of in the comments. When I left, he kind of just gave a half wave and didn't bother asking how I liked the work, if everything was fine ... Nothing. (However, Moe's assistant was such a nice person. She even took the time to show me how a product looked on her vehicle before I decided if I wanted it on mine or not.) I will also mention, I am clearly not Caucasian.
