Went in this morning with a slow leak in my front drivers tire and a nail or screw visible in my rear drivers tire. After 45 minutes they took my car back and began looking. Within 10 minutes they tell me I need a new tire because they couldn't patch the screw location (they hadn't yet pulled the screw). I asked "why"? It was an in tread object on tires with under 16k miles. Their response was it was not a patchable spot and I need a tire. Because it was holding air I said "no" and asked if they found anything on the front slow leak, they said "no"... I don't even think they looked since I wasn't buying a new tire. They pull me out and I leave and go to another tire shop (Creamery in Chalfont) Within 5 minutes at Creamery, they have my wheels off, have the screw pulled... and guess what... NO LEAK, it didn't even puncture the tire... Mavis was going to sell me a new tire for one that literally didn't have an issue. Within another minute they found the leak in the front tire and had it repaired within 10. I used Mavis for the better part of a decade for tires, and never again. Incredibly predatory practices. This location should be embarrassed at this all. If I could leave negative star ratings I would to help prevent others from wandering in their door. Save your time, energy and money and go elsewhere

I wanted to write this short review as a follow up on the great service provided by Tom & son's at their great establishment. So, I went into Philly a few weeks before the big snow storm and possibly hit a speed bump, and possibly caught some air with a not so smooth landing. Two weeks later we had the biggest storm of the year. I had to leave my home and I drove on a street near my home that hadn't been plowed yet. After that I started hearing a scratching sound every time I left my driveway and occasionally on the road. When I checked I saw I had dented a panel that covers the front end of my car. I decided to head to Tom's one day while doing some errands to see if he could take care of it. Just a pop-in. I told what had happened and he could actually see it from just looking under, so he can let me know when to bring it in and all that. He figured the part and asked if I had bought it already cus I did bring him my fog light before. He remembered. So I told him no, he'd have to order it. He said to bring it in and they'd use the lift. In my head I was like, really now?! Cool! A young man I believe his son, asked for my keys and drove it in and put it on the lift. He said the damage was minimal and nothing else seamed to be at all. He took out the panel and reworked it back to normal. The whole experience was only about 20 min and the cool part was they let me stay inside while doing it! They brought the car down and asked Tom "How much I owe'ya?" He said "Nah, don't worry about it." I said really? Let me at least give you something for lunch or something for you guys. And he said you're good don't worry about it. I thanked him with a firm handshake and hug and thanked his son as well and went about my day. It was a minor thing but it had a world of difference to me, not only that he didn't charge but just giving that feeling of how my fellow man could help me out in a time of need. I was very relieved because had that not been fixed other issues could arise (Think of Newman when he hit that sewing machine on the highway) that's what I was worried about. Hahaha! This business is truly in my heart and should be in yours too, so stop in, they are local! I said I'd be visiting them again, and I was riiight! :)

I needed cupcakes for an event and learned something that I think Sam's Club should improve…read more I noticed that you can place cake and cupcake orders through the Sam's Club website and app, which is very convenient. However, what wasn't clear to me is that cupcake orders are not customizable the way cake orders are. When ordering a cake, you can choose colors, decorations, and personalize it. With cupcakes, what you see in the photo is exactly what you get. There doesn't appear to be an option to change the colors, decorations, or customize them for your event. Because I assumed the cupcake ordering process would be similar to the cake ordering process, I ended up missing the ordering deadline. I believe cupcakes require at least a 24-hour notice, and by the time I realized customization wasn't available online, it was too late. I ended up going into the bakery and purchasing cupcakes that were already available. They were fine, but they weren't decorated the way I had wanted for my event. My suggestion to Sam's Club would be to either allow cupcake customization online like they do with cakes or make it much clearer during the ordering process that cupcake designs cannot be modified. It would save customers a lot of confusion and disappointment.

Since when does a rusty brake rotor fail state inspection. 4 new rotors the front rotors costing…read more180 dollars a piece.the rear rotors 126.00.ceramic brake pads at 153.00 for the front and 96.00 for the rear pads.parts that were used were not needed for a light truck.the cost of these parts were not explained to me. they were just put on the truck when I asked Dave about the cost of these parts he just said we don't want the brakes to squeal. 700.00 in parts 420.00 in labor is overkill and completely not necessary I am considering taking the matter up with the state police and Penn dot. 1100.00 dollars fora rotor and pad replacement is unreasonable. And I told Dave so.also that they would not get any more business from me.beware of there cost.it is extremely expensive. He should have given me options on the cost and the rusty area he used for inspection.to get that work.beware of there tactics.
