Despite marketing herself as a "facial…read morebalancing expert," her lack of technical skill, poor placement, and fundamental misunderstanding of facial anatomy resulted in extreme, regrettable distortion. To make matters worse, her off-putting attitude made the entire experience deeply unpleasant. She deflects accountability and tries to make you feel like you are the problem, rather than acknowledging her own poor technique. Poor communication and delays: It took me over 5 months to schedule a filler appointment last year because the manager, Mai, did not respond to my repeated emails (attached). I only got a response once I called the office, and even then, it felt like I was chasing them just to give them my business. 2. Inconsistent and misleading pricing: I was originally quoted $575 for under-eye filler in writing (attached) but was later charged $700 for the same service. This inconsistency in pricing is unacceptable, especially when it is clearly documented in their own emails. 3. Clinic-to-clinic confusion - I was quoted $1,500 for 2 syringes of PDGF in Park Ridge ($3,000 for 4), but later told by Millburn staff that their baseline price was actually $1,800 for 2 syringes. Most importantly, when I specifically asked Park Ridge if the 20% off promo at Millburn would apply to the same service and was told yes, no one told me that Millburn's pricing was higher. That critical detail should have been mentioned upfront so I could make an informed decision. Overall, between the lack of responsiveness, the long wait just to schedule, and the bait-and-switch style pricing, I cannot recommend SkinSpirit. Patients deserve transparency, consistency, and respect for their time, none of which I experienced here.

I have been going to Korean spas for over 10 years for this treatment. It normally leaves your skin supper soft. The scrub can be from 30-50 minutes and then a hydrating massage for 30 minutes to 45 after. This was my first time doing it at this spa. I called and they said that the scrub is 45 minutes and the massage is the same. For $20 more you can extend the massage for an addition 30 minutes. They also mentioned they have a sauna which is free. I asked for the 2 hour Urban Vacation. It is little over two hours before closing so they did not want to accommodate so I chose the 90 minute Eastern Indulgence (Korean Body Scrub). They asked from payment first, so I paid $130, then they took me to a room and gave me a towel. About 7 minutes later she comes back and took me to the wet room. No robe, no slippers which was odd. We entered the room and it was freezing. I told her it was cold; she ended the scrub after 10 minutes and put me in a cold sauna room. After about 4 minutes it got warm. In about 3 minutes we head to the massage room. The room was nice and warm, but the massage was terrible. I asked for a stronger massage, but it did not get stronger. It was not good. While in the room she complained that business is slow, and she comes from palisade park to work there. After 70-75 minutes in total, she said all done. I told her that she cut it short, she stated that I came in 90 minutes ago. She left and came back with water. She seemed nice and I gave her $50 tip on a $130 massage. She asked for more and told me that $50 is not enough for 90 minutes. I was shocked. I told her the scrub was shortened, the time was shortened as it included the time to pay, her to set up and the sauna. She got nasty and I left. In summary, the cozy Spa offers clean environment. However, the inconsistency in the service from the industry standards and their menu along with lack of gratitude was disappointing to say the least. I would suggest staying clear of this spa. This is not a good business to support.

The door is clear glass so don't walk into it! as I almost did. loI I was greeted by Gabi and Abi at the counter who were super friendly, helpful, with a big huge smiles. I came to Schweiger because I really didn't want to drive to the city to see a derm, and Schweiger Dermatology was recommended by about 300 ppl in a fb group. Now I know why; Dr. Yael Pinn was amazing. She took care of removing 2 of my moles, and I didn't feel anything. She was really quick and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She even gave me a compliment and told me I am young.... (but I might be older than her as she looks pretty young). In the treatment room, Jessica was really helpful and made sure I understood everything that was happening. She was there to answer any questions I had. Booking appointments online was super easy, which made the whole process a lot smoother for me and actually the real reason why I came to Schweiger. They were listed on ZocDoc which is a site I love to use for finding good doctors in the area who accept your insurance instead of calling 30 offices. Overall, my experience at Schweiger Dermatology was great. The staff is friendly, the doctors are skilled, and I felt well taken care of. I'll definitely be going back for any future skin care needs. I will post a photo of clear skin after I remove the bandage, but seriously there was no pain, and it was sort of fun! I heard she also offers Botox and other cosmetic treatments you can check out.

(I checked in several times to see what was taking so long) It was clear they had made a mistake, perhaps the PA (Anita Fox) had left. When I tried to ask about getting a biopsy the doctor said they don't use any numbing agent in front of my 7 year old daughter, clearly making her very upset. What dermatologist doesn't use any numbing when taking a biopsy. Would never suggest going her unless you like waiting and are into pain.

Criminals. Buyer beware…read more Showed up for my 10am session a bit late, filled out my paperwork asap. This was my birthday treat to myself. Session didn't start until 10:20. At 10:45 the masseuse informs me we have 10 min left in my 60 min massage. I sat up and asked what on earth? She said I was docked because I was late - no one said a word. I spent 5 more minutes of my session negotiating with this woman and finally had enough. I said the session was done and left. Front desk kept arguing I was late and therefore didn't get the full time, not one mention at the outset or during the session. What you are doing is criminal and a scam. Shame on you.

To be honest I do already have good skin and maintain it very well so I did not see a huge difference after I left. Keep in mind if you cancel 5 hours prior to your appointment they charge your card. The consultation they do prior is very good and in depth so your service can really target your needs. Being in the waiting room during the consultation was relaxing itself because they have wonderful aroma therapy going. I'm giving this review 3 stars because since the time I came in June I have needed a facial but not interested in going back. Unfortunately they do push expensive products and packages. The first visit is a decent price. Mine was around $70. If I wanted to visit again the girl working at the front desk said it would be a $100 every time. She then tried to push the package and said I could pay $70 a month to come in for a facial or massage 1-2 times a month. For me 70 is pricy once a month especially since I probably wouldn't even go that often . I do believe in giving your skin the best but considering that you can buy products at the center or even at Sephora for the price of the package and use it everyday to maintain your skin, you don't really need an expensive facial so often in my opinion. Overall it's a good experience for a facial but I do think you can find the the same service for cheaper. The employees are very nice and helpful. It's a clean and organized center. Not a fan of the 5 hour canceling policy.

Redeeming online deals are always a tricky business because you never know if you'll receive the same service and reception as a full-paying customer or a regular. But here, it was a breeze. When I called over the phone, the receptionist readily accepted my redemption and scheduled me for an appointment in the not-too-distant future. De Beauté salon is easily one of the largest salons I've visited, taking up an entire multi-story building. Parking is easy with an adjoining lot and the first floor essentially functions as a receiving lobby. Here, receptionists will check you in, tell you which floor you're heading toward, and hand you a slip of paper that details the service you're receiving (to give to your service provider). I was paired with Antoine for the Brazilian blowout, and I wish I'd taken before/after pictures because wow, what a change. I'd arrived with frizzy hair that was approximating a Brillo-pad texture and frizz (thanks to a bleach job I'd recently gotten done), but after a short hour and a half in the chair, my tresses had been tamed to a silky smoothness that I hadn't felt on my head for some time. I've since washed my hair a few times, and I'm happy to report that this keratin treatment has staying power. For those sensitive to strong chemicals, note that the formula they use contains formaldehyde. I appreciated that they set up the chair by two strong fans and an open door, but my eyes still watered a bit here and there.
