She took the time to understand my skincare routine, concerns, and goals, then recommended adjustments where needed. I eventually purchased a package of three microneedling sessions with PRP. I was nervous because I have a low pain tolerance and, ironically, I'm not great with needles, but Alexa made the entire experience so comfortable. During every session, she was reassuring, calm, and gentle. She made sure I had calming gas to help me relax and continuously checked in to see if I was comfortable or needed a break. Alexa also explained everything she was doing, from adjusting the needle depth to targeting specific areas with PRP based on my skin concerns. I really appreciated how informed and cared for she made me feel throughout the entire process. I'll…read moreshopped around a lot before settling on trying out this clinic, and it was the only place that made me feel comfortable and like I wasn't about to be taken for a ride. Dr. Angell doesn't care about making money off of you. She cares about your aesthetic goals, and the best way for you to achieve them, even if it would mean a loss for her. I went in initially for a lip flip and forehead Botox, and she essentially said she could do it, but I'd get the best results from a lip lift, which is surgical and permanent. Every other clinic I went to told me that I'd need 4-8 units for the flip and 1.5-2 vials of filler to get the results I wanted, which is just an obvious cash grab. Dr. Angell and her staff actually listened to me, understood what I wanted, and didn't try to oversell me on anything. That was enough to cement that this is the place for me. There are so many other reasons to love this place. The decor is tasteful, it's always clean, the staff is SO nice, and my results are always perfect. I've had issues with Botox migrating in the past, and that has NEVER happened here. I've also never even bruised, even when I decided to dabble in lip filler. It also doesn't feel like you're in a sterile doctor's office (even though you technically are in a doctor's office), and I feel like I'm just talking to my friends. The last thing I'll touch on is my incredibly horrible needle fear. I know it's strange to get injectables when you have a full-blown panic attack getting your flu shot, but I'll tell you, these people take CARE of you. My first appointment, I was literally sweating, crying, and on the edge of passing out, but they literally held my hand throughout and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I know it seems silly, but I've never felt more supported in a medical setting. The laughing gas doesn't hurt either, but I'm so comfortable there now, I don't even need it and don't cry! So, it's a little bit of exposure therapy tossed in as a freebie! I know this is long, but I could seriously go on forever about how amazing this place is. If you try it out, you will end up with amazing NATURAL results. I'll close it off with a story. I seriously won a bet at a dinner party when a gal who was talking about celebrities with cosmetic enhancements said, "Everyone who gets stuff done is so obvious. I can tell immediately." I mentioned that work is only obvious when it's bad, but good work is something you'd never notice. I bet her that she couldn't tell who had gotten anything done at the table. She guessed the people with obvious work, but I wasn't on her list. She said, "You just look young because you have great skin." I literally had to show her my receipts to prove it. My first visit with the owner was good-very rushed though. My second visit was a completely different story. The nurse was actively training someone during my appointment--something I was never informed of or consented to. I did not agree to have a trainee involved in a laser treatment on my face. I clearly disclosed that I have tattooed eyebrows and lips. Everything seemed fine until I felt a sharp, intense pain above my eyebrow and smelled hair burning. I was told it was just "baby hairs." Minutes later, I felt even worse pain at my temple and again smelled burning hair. Once again, I was reassured it was normal. It was not. A visible section of hair at my temple had been burned off. When I touched it, the hair fell out. I also had missing eyebrow hair. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the nurse immediately tried to minimize the situation, telling me this "happens all the time." That is extremely concerning--and completely unacceptable. I've had IPL treatments for years and have NEVER experienced anything like this. She attempted to cover the bald spot with my hair and told me not to worry because it would grow back. I remained calm (no Karen behavior) and asked what could be done, she repeatedly mentioned the waiver I signed and offered a free session (which I declined--why would I trust them again?). When I asked for a manager, I was told she was the manager, yet she showed zero accountability or real concern. To make matters worse, I overheard the trainee call me "a little dramatic," and the trainer agreed. When I calmly addressed hearing it, she denied it outright and then told me to stay out of the back before shutting the door in my face. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect here is unbelievable. This was not a minor mishap--it was negligence during a cosmetic procedure. I am now dealing with a burned scalp, visible hair loss, and eyebrow damage. Proceed with extreme caution. Edit: 2 hours later, my eyebrow is a full on blister which might need a dermatological appointment from where she hit the tattooed eyebrow, and now that I've washed the bald spot, it's far more obvious that hair is missing

I had done a…read morelot of research and chose Eternity Med Spa since they had the Soprano XL Diode machine made by Alma Laser and an esthetician with 8+ years of experience. The first two appointments in March and April that my wife had with Angie were a good experience. Everything started to fall apart starting with the June appointment. Angie, the experienced esthetician that had done such a great job, was no longer there, the new lady didn't do a thorough job, then the Soprano laser broke and the replacement machine was older, less powerful, and hurt much more. The next two sessions were such poor experiences that the office manager offered to credit my wife for the sessions. They promised that they were getting the Soprano laser fixed and scheduled her for her next appointment. When she showed up for that appointment, the Soprano still wasn't working, but they didn't bother to notify her before she drove out for her appointment. They continued to promise that the Soprano was getting fixed and scheduled her for further appointments but they were never able to deliver. Since my wife has a neuromuscular condition (that was communicated before the purchase of the laser treatment package), it was very important to keep her on the high quality Soprano machine. With each new appointment my wife would find out that the Soprano still wasn't fixed because she was proactively calling since the staff apparently couldn't keep notes in their system or be responsible for communicating with us. After many canceled and failed appointments we decided we were done with them and just needed a refund. We had many conversations with the office manager and she said on October 27th that they would give us a refund since they were unable to deliver on the services. The doctor that owns the business apparently decided that he didn't want to give a refund and wanted more time to try to get the Soprano fixed, even though they have had months without progress. I had two calls with him but he no longer returns my calls and won't give us a refund. Since he refuses to give us a refund for the services that he can't provide and he won't return my calls, we have requested our credit card company to dispute the charge to get the refund. This has been a terrible experience with this business and a great waste of our time. I recommend that everyone should avoid them at all costs.

I was also thrilled to see that Beautycology exclusively features Lira Clinical, which is a plant-based, cruelty-free skin care line made in the USA. She customizes each facial to your individual needs and does a great job of explaining each step of the treatment and what product she is using, which I appreciate. Because she's a one woman operation in a small commercial suite, it's a very relaxing experience and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. Irish is so friendly and welcoming! I was caught off guard when Dr. Boparai walked in. I assumed I was seeing Dr. Champlin, but that was MY FAULT for not checking. Dr. Boparai said Dr. Champlin retired earlier this year. However, I decided to get them because they were having a special for $399 (which is 50% off). Lesson learned. I get them done & immediately knew they were uneven. I was so sad, but I was like it's fine maybe it will get better let them settle... Then I get an infection. They were amazing about that- in making sure I got abx that same day. Dr. Boparai wanted to see what was going on, so I go in the next day. She stated, this has never happened before... I was trying to show her where my lips where uneven, but it was near the site of infection. She said finish the abx, wait the two weeks, & we will go from there. So, I wait & scheduled my appt thinking I was getting more filler that day. However, there was some miscommunication & that appt became a consultation. She was saying with the discount & how much product she was using she's basically covering the cost... which I thought was REALLY unprofessional. She's not wrong, but this is your business & that shouldn't be any of your patient's concern. She ran the promotion, NOT ME. So, here I am writing that Yelp review she asked for MULTIPLE TIMES Now she's injecting my bottom R lip & doesn't want to get too close to the borders (which is correct), but ends up putting it all in the corner of my mouth. Yes, I know you can be trained & still do well, but that comes with time & practice & I felt like I was her first ever patient. Almost done, trust it's been annoying typing up, But I had to give the full story. I'm still unhappy & it was bothering me ALL DAY-everyday. I'm like no, just call. Mind you, Dr. Boparai HERSELF brought up the idea of having someone else come fix my lips, so I assumed that was still an option. I had already made up my mind I wouldn't let her touch me anymore, I just wanted someone who knew what they were doing TO MAKE MY LIPS EVEN. I called last Thursday & was advised to send pics & they will reach out to the reps & call me back. There was NO COMMUNICATION. At this point I felt like they were ghosting me. My friend was like do you want to call from my phone I started laughing because I'm like no I'm not in a toxic relationship. I shouldn't have to do that... This is supposed to be a professional business. They finally text me back on Wednesday (yesterday) almost a week later. She said she can remove them, but will not give me any additional filler. Okay that's fine I just want them back to normal. She tells me it will be $250 & went on to explain AGAIN how I got it for 50 % off plus the additional syringe.
