I do the home bleach kits from my dentist normally and they get my teeth nice and bright white. The issue is, it takes weeks because I have sensitive teeth. So I have to do it slowly. I thought great! Go here and get it done in an hour! The woman doing the bleaching is lovely. It's a nice facility and she's welcoming and warm and it was very pleasant. I paid extra for the treatment to stop sensitivity, but it didn't work at all. I still had intense pain for two days after. My husband did totally fine without any treatment for sensitivity. So I think that's just me and my teeth. Here's the part where it got hinky. She waited to hold up the color chart to determine your before and after results AFTER we were in the chair, reclined, with the lights turned down, and dark glasses on to protect our eyes. She did it independently so at the end she could say "wow! You moved up four levels!" The issue is, I saw almost no difference in my teeth at all. And since I hadnt been able to see my "before" color on her chart I couldn't argue the lack of change. I whiten them at home all the time so once I got into the light and looked I could see it hadn't done hardly anything. I did it a month ago, and today I did my first treatment with my at-home bleach kits, and that's why I'm posting this review. After one treatment with my home bleach, I am at least one step lighter than I was after a whole treatment with this company. I suggest not wasting your money and either doing zoom or the home bleach. It just works so much better.

It was a traumatizing experience and they went the extra mile to make sure that I was comfortable and calm. I live in San Francisco and was up visiting family and can confidently say that I will be coming back up for all dental services because of my experience. Not only did they stay after hours to take care of me, but the bedside manner was a 20/10. I also left with teeth that look better than they ever did. My purchase was 3 galvanic cellulite reduction…read moretreatments, however once I met with Julia I upgraded my treatments to the micro current for better and faster results (kind of force to do it though since she made a "mistake" by starting my treatments with the micro current). Now, her small office is located inside a bulding where other beauty treatments are provided. Her room looks dark, there's no place for you to undress (so you have to undress in front of her), and a lot of beauty products are scattered everywhere. The reason why I'm giving her 3 stars is because communication wasn't the best. She only communicates through text msgs. Never picks up the phone. Her door is always closed and you have to text her that you're there for her to open it. And although she was nice while providing her treatments, she also seemed stressed or with an attitude. More over, she dislikes if you reschedule often. In her own words "too many people rescheduling or cancelling is exhausting," so she prefers if you "go somewhere else." To end, I really enjoyed the results of the treatments. They made my skin smoother and felt a little tighter. I do recommend you doing the micro current treatments, however I don't think I recommend you going to NuYu. The experience can be somewhat frustrating and awkward.

Typically these symptoms only last 1 or 2 days but mine lasted about 1 week. However, once my skin cleared up the results were great. Some of the dark spots I had before the treatment were gone and my skin was a lot more radiant. I was asked about 3 times in week if I was in my mid 20s... I'm in my mid 30s. I will definitely be going back!
