PLEASE BEWARE! I left this appointment shaken, upset, and honestly shocked at the level of unprofessionalism. I purchased a Groupon for three IPL sessions. My first visit with the owner was good-very rushed though. My second visit was a completely different story. The nurse was actively training someone during my appointment--something I was never informed of or consented to. I did not agree to have a trainee involved in a laser treatment on my face. I clearly disclosed that I have tattooed eyebrows and lips. Everything seemed fine until I felt a sharp, intense pain above my eyebrow and smelled hair burning. I was told it was just "baby hairs." Minutes later, I felt even worse pain at my temple and again smelled burning hair. Once again, I was reassured it was normal. It was not. A visible section of hair at my temple had been burned off. When I touched it, the hair fell out. I also had missing eyebrow hair. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the nurse immediately tried to minimize the situation, telling me this "happens all the time." That is extremely concerning--and completely unacceptable. I've had IPL treatments for years and have NEVER experienced anything like this. She attempted to cover the bald spot with my hair and told me not to worry because it would grow back. I remained calm (no Karen behavior) and asked what could be done, she repeatedly mentioned the waiver I signed and offered a free session (which I declined--why would I trust them again?). When I asked for a manager, I was told she was the manager, yet she showed zero accountability or real concern. To make matters worse, I overheard the trainee call me "a little dramatic," and the trainer agreed. When I calmly addressed hearing it, she denied it outright and then told me to stay out of the back before shutting the door in my face. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect here is unbelievable. This was not a minor mishap--it was negligence during a cosmetic procedure. I am now dealing with a burned scalp, visible hair loss, and eyebrow damage. Proceed with extreme caution. Edit: 2 hours later, my eyebrow is a full on blister which might need a dermatological appointment from where she hit the tattooed eyebrow, and now that I've washed the bald spot, it's far more obvious that hair is missing read more

I would not recommend this place. I came in for Botox and clearly explained that I wanted a brow lift, help under my eyes, and improvement at the corners of my mouth. After the Botox settled, the area under my eyes looked worse and showed more wrinkles, and the corners of my mouth did not improve at all. I later learned that Botox may not have been the right treatment for all of these concerns, but that was never clearly explained to me during my appointment. WARNING: Don't buy Groupon. I called them and made an appointment, no problem. I showed up at my scheduled appointment time and no one was there. I waited half hour and during that time I called their numbers repeatedly trying to find out why no one was there. No one answered and no one called me back. I called Groupon to let them know what happened and they reached out to the "spa " and they told Groupon that the appointment was changed. I didn't change the appointment and no one called me to make a change to my scheduled appointment. I made the appointment at a specific time due to my busy schedule. Rouge told Groupon that my appointment time was changed. At NO point did Rouge return my calls after leaving at least five messages. The only time I talk to them was when I made my initial appointment. Groupon gave me a credit, but I was unable to get my money back and more than anything. I wanted the actual treatments. The hours posted on their window and online are incorrect because they weren't there when they were supposed to be a numerous occasions. Don't get stuck with hundreds of dollars in Groupon credits like I did. I was very shocked as I was only asking clarifying questions. The staff that signed me on to the membership gave different information than the person ringing me up. It is either a scam to get people signed up or the entire staff needs training on their membership benefits so there isn't contradicting answers. Professionalism training is a must as well. Young lady on the phone was very nice and accommodating after I explained to her that I was confused about the location of the appt and the consent form which was not listed as the same Location I was trying to get my service from. I couldn't reach them as soon as they were open. But, luckily they reached out to my husband and everything was clarified. They have a sister store and the consent form was addressed Rancho SD but treatment is at their Fulton location. They did gave me a later time at 12:15PM because I couldn't make it at 10:45AM because it was already 10:40AM when I was still one the phone with the receptionist. Staff members do care about their client and want their client to have a good experience whether is first time or returning client. As I enter the establishment, I looked around and see that is pretty cute and elegant looking spa. The smell of the waiting room has a pleasantly stress relieve scent. Sasha is an amazing person with her professionalism and guidance to my first IPL treatment. I was lucky that I was able to be seen today at a later time for my consultation and also getting my treatment done same day as well. I'd never been to a medical spa before, so I don't really know how it really worked. But we do need to set an appointment for consultation for a specific treatment whether it is right for you or recommended another treatment. Sasha is outstanding when she did the treatment. It turned out better than I thought. She talked to me the whole time to keep me to keep my mind off the pain. Very friendly, informative and highly professional. I would rate my pain 3/10. Making an appointment here has been a nightmare. They didn't respond to my initial contact through their website. Then I called and made an appointment that I had to cancel due to having Covid. Then when I tried to call back to reschedule, no one ever answered the phone. Someone finally texted me and then disappeared mid convo and never responded again. I texted again 11 days later to request an appointment once again and an appointment was made. I arrived right on time and found the door was locked and "closed" sign was up. I've been to many spas, med spas in particular and this spa was by far the nicest I've been to. The environment is very calm and welcoming, and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Myra is the aesthetician who did my facial, and I have to say she was super kind and made me feel no judgment whatsoever. It felt like I was talking to a friend. Stay away, this place is full of the most unpleasant and unprofessional people ever. My friend had the bad misfortune of using this place for IPL. She showed up for her appointment on time. The nurse assigned to her was late and the receptionist let her know that she was running behind. When she was finally called into her session, the appointment lasted about 5 minutes. The room also stank of burning hair and skin. Normally, IPL sessions last 20 to 30 minutes. Google it if you doubt that. During their short time, the nurse smeared gel on her face and started to double click the IPL device on her face. My friend repeatedly requested that the strength of the IPL be lessened because it hurt. When she asked the nurse how many passes that she would do, the nurse told her that she had already done two. How do you do two passes on IPL in the span of minutes? The nurse then gave her the bum's rush out of there stating that she couldn't go back over areas of concern because she had already applied sunscreen to on my friend's face. I was there with her in the waiting room, and I finished only two pages of my book when she went in and came out. When my friend texted the clinic providing immediate feedback about the unpleasant session. Oddly, the receptionist called her and then immediately turned the call over to the irate nurse. My friend and the nurse got into over how the appointment went. When it was cited that the session was very short because the nurse was running late, the nurse told her that it was none of her business about the other patient even though the receptionist was the person who disclosed this fact. After sharing that the IPL administration hurt, the nurse claimed that she was extremely gentle. At one point, the nurse got extremely angry telling my friend to be quiet and listen to her and that in fifteen years of doing IPL, she had never gotten a complaint until now. The nurse then told my friend that she was "fired" and hung up. We were both relieved given how insane the experience was. We didn't expect to hear anything further. Today, my friend was contacted by an unknown person at Rouge from a San Diego number who said that she gotten all of her fourteen messages from her, which was untrue. After the exchange, my friend texted Rouge stating she would never want to return and cited the reasons why. That was the extent of the communication. During this call, the rep from Rouge disclosed they had illegally recorded a phone conversation without her consent or knowledge. The person from Rouge accused her of not being inaccurate despite the fact that my friend had been. (I was there.) Rouge told her that they had secretly recorded her phone conversation. In response, my friend told the Rouge rep that this was illegal under California law. The Rouge employee claimed that she had every right to record her because it was quality assurance issue. My friend told her that this was not correct and that the recording was never disclosed. She should know since she is an attorney. In response, the person from Rouge immediately claimed that she was siding with her employees and told her that she was ending the call immediately. Upon review, we discovered that the nurse is actually the business owner, which makes the phone call even more bananas. This place is nuts. If you want to have your phone calls bugged and your sessions to be off the wall, go here. There are so many places where IPL can be a pleasant and effective experience. Rouge Medical is not one of those places. read more

I bought a Groupon for Botox a few days ago without doing research on this facility. I have tried to contact them a few different times. The phone has never been answered and they reached out via text and once I respond, they stop. I went to Groupon to see if I could get some or any refund however since it had been 3 days past my purchase, it wasn't an option. When I told my friend about my experience she took the initiative and looked up this place and strongly advised me to do whatever I can to not go. Still wanting to take the chance and get what I paid for, I've continued to try and contact them to make an appointment and still no luck. I have since then gone to Groupon and let them know that this place isn't responding and got my refund;). I think it's kind of funny how there's a few reviews that mention the lack of communication from this place, yet the business owner responds pretty quickly .. I went to this spa for the first time last May. I've had botox many times from a different clinic. This one is closer to my home. I was initially seen by Jessica. She did my first round & I was not happy with the placement & still saw many lines on my forehead after the 2week wait. I went back in & saw Saja & she did the touch up. I got a total of 21 units. My botox results were great for months after my follow-up visit. I went back in the day after Thanksgiving to have another round of botox. I saw Jessica again & was hesitant because of the placement issues previously. I decided to give her another chance. She remarked on how great my botox still looked. I was asking for 21 units again but she suggested I do 30 units to just make it look even better. I received the 30 units & once again I asked her if the placement was correct. She told me not to worry that it would spread out. She never injected the middle of my forehead like my previous doctor used to do. I waited 10 days & didn't see any different to my face. I called in & went back for a touch up. By the way they never told me how much I was receiving each time I had it touched up. I had to see Jessica again for the touch up as there was no one else there to do it. Once again she put it way off to the sides of my forehead & nothing in the middle. Again, I questioned the placement. I waited 7 more days after the touch up because I never noticed any difference from my first initial visit after Thanksgiving. I called in & told them I was upset with the results & was not satisfied. They scheduled me to go in when the other nurse Saja was there. When I went back in which was 2 weeks later so 3 weeks total since the touch up & saw Saja. I had to wait that long because she's not there that often. I explained everything & at first she acted like I was just trying to get free botox. I showed her pictures I had taken a week before my visit & some right after Thanksgiving which clearly showed no change in my wrinkles by my eyes or forehead. I told her I even got 9 more units & I thought I would be good to go. She stated I shouldn't have waited that long to come back but then I explained that I had to wait until she was in the office as I did not want Jessica touching me anymore because I felt that she completely waisted my time & money! Saja said she would fix it & give me a little more. I could tell she was not happy that I showed her previous reviews showing concern about placement & not being happy with results. She said she would fix the issues. It has been 2 weeks again & I can not see any difference in my wrinkles at all. I look the same as I did in November before any treatment at all! I'm not sure if they are diluting the botox down to nothing or just purposely not putting it in the right area but I seriously see no change. I had an event to go to & that was my whole reason for getting treatment. I did not get to go to my event because I felt as though I didn't look right. I was very happy last May when I found this spa. Now I will never return! I know my body & by day 3 I should have saw something! I'm very upset & wasted my money & my time! I will NEVER give them a dime in the future & will NEVER return! I usually don't complain about things like this but I don't think what they are doing there is right! Maybe they were upset that I used Groupon & received a discount. I don't recommend this place. Don't waste your money or your time. 25 minutes driving there, a whole hour wait, 25 minutes back, and no services rendered. I made this appointment yesterday. I confirmed I could get it done within my lunch hour, and when you haven't even started the service an hour in, yes I am going to leave. The lack of urgency indicated this was not out of the ordinary and was just how things are run. It is absurd you do not have the supplies you need for that day on hand already, especially when it is something as pedestrian as lidocaine. The only thing that was done in this hour I am sitting there twiddling my thumbs after the lidocaine was procured, I was numbed. I was told it was not a long procedure once it is started, no duh, but when are you starting it? The nurse wasn't back in the room in ten minutes, as she said she would be, and I can hear the casual conversations happening down the hall. I have already relayed I need us to start the process twice, the other person has already indicated she is getting multiple procedures done and will be there all day. Thanks for wasting my time. I understand there's a little patient stagger, but when you have people just waiting for an hour and can't even start something that should be fairly quick, and they confirmed the length of procedure explicitly before they came in, maybe prioritize customer service over profits, if it was due to overbooking, or just general sense of urgency if it's just lackadaisical behavior. read more

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! First experience ever with Botox injections. The aesthetician I saw was Sajia. With a focus on the frown lines between my eyes, she put injections over each one. One side was fine. I had no discomfort with it at w. The other eye, not so much! The injection didn't feel the same, and the area was a bit tender. NBD. I walked away feeling generally happy with my service and excited to see results. However.... The tender eye continued to get worse. After 3 days with the area really, really sore and Very Tender to the touch I couldn't imagine that this was normal. I contacted them to question this and express my concern. The person on the phone just regurgitated the basic "patients can react differently" with a nonchalant attitude. Didn't show any kind of interest or concern about my worries. I felt completely dismissed!! I understand people can react differently to these things, of course. But I do not believe the idea that I could react differently between one injection and the other in the same session. If that's truly possible, I need to be convinced! I call Foul. Needless to say that phone call put a sour taste in my mouth. I hung up and went about life. My one eye ended up swollen and Very Sore into its 6th day! WTH? I'm just glad the aching subsided. Now I can see a difference in lines at the "good eye" location, but see absolutely no difference in the "bad eye" location. She missed the mark, right?!?
