This place never disappoints. I have been coming to this salon for about 1 year. Kevin does an amazing job. The staff is so helpful and really make you feel welcomed. They are talented in designs and have never turned away a design idea. From Gems to trends they do it all. Came today and got one of the best French Pedicures I've ever had. Went to get a fresh set done, I requested someone who was good at acrylic. Girl at the front assured me yes the nail tech was good .. fast forward after the acrylic was done an files I look at my nails .. a few nails were crooked. Non of the nails were even. I then explain to her it was terrible she then soaked off an moved me to another nail tech .. they were very nice about it though no attitude nothing . Very nice people I jus wish they knew how to do acrylic better where the nails match . The next tech very nice lady but by then it was 8pm. I went to LUXE for the first time with my sister 2 days before my wedding and it was a great experience. Despite being understaffed, Tracy and the staff there did their best to make sure that all their clients were well taken care of, especially because of delayed wait/appointment times. It was the first time I had gotten tips for a French Ombre and I was skeptical at first, but I never want to take them off. Hannah did an amazing job and she was very patient with me. Let me start off by saying the owner is SUPER nice you can tell he truly cares about making every single customer happy and goes the extra mile for every body. Now, Tracy, along w the other nail techs, are the opposite. First time I went here, Kim did my nails and my appointment got messed up. I sat down and Kim claimed to have known to do the design I wanted. She did not lol. She kept messing things up and I'd ask her to do it a certain way, she'd start laughing. Super disrespectful. Next appointment w Tracy, they messed up my appointment once again (Had date written in my notes) and waited for about 40 min for her. Once I got in the seat she was rushing my nails and would get mad when I would tell her how to do my nails, and she wasn't getting it right, got frustrated and yelled out "I don't know what she wants!!" I went in, and they are very nice people. The lady who did my nails took her time and was very nice, I kept good conversation with her. The only problem is my nails aren't straight, so it looks like my nails are lopsided. This is my second time upon coming here the first time I enjoyed. This second time I don't think I will be returning due to the quality of how my nails have turned out . Also, my nails were $60 when a full set is $45 with gel so I wasn't sure how my total came about to $60 and I also did do my eyebrows, she did them super thin. the only place i ever go to get my nails done. i've been coming here for about 9 years and have seen it change owners and get revamped from the previous lady who owned it. the new owner jared is so extremely nice, accommodating & friendly. he's made the place more aesthetically pleasing, clean, fresh & plays good music. they get you in & out as quickly as possible & have fresh polishes and great employees. love this place. will never get my nails done anywhere else read more

Yelp won't let me give 0 stars.. I made a appointment with Kim for a fill and pedicure. I walk in and they tell me pedicure first. I go to the pedicure chair and it's not Kim it's some old lady who I didn't ask for. I said excuse me my appointment is with Kim they tell me this lady is gonna do it Kim needs lunch WTF I MADE THE APPOINTMENT WITH HER NOT THIS LADY!!!! The women barely even gave me a pedicure didn't do anything I asked for didn't know what I was saying when I start yelling at her the owner comes running over saying it's okay we won't charge you. Fast forward a month later I go somewhere else for a pedicure to find that 5 of my toes are full of fungus!!!!! I had the lady cut off as much as possible to get rid of it. Now I have to keep cutting my toe nails short and apply fungus stuff! Two of the toe nails fell off completely. Thanks a lot! All bcuz you couldn't give me the person I asked for jerks! read more

Im new to the neighborhood read reviews so I gave them a try first time was ok the 2nd time I needed a emergency to take out my gel asap she couldn't do it cause they was busy meanwhile I passed by they were just sitting there I had to go get removed somewhere else then the 3rd time they confused my time went anyway rushed me out that my nails broke (cheapergel) they used so this time last week I made an appointment decided to give them one more try and I needed to switch it to another day I called them nicely please any other day she asked me who did my nails I told her I don't remember her name cause I always get different girls she took a deep breath on the phone upset and said no I can't switch days & to cancel , all because I don't remember the name so I said no I'll stay with that day so I was so mad I screwed them over and never showed up the first time nails were perfect then the second time two nails broke with the gel then the 3rd all of them broke they used that cheap gel so I gave up now I'm looking for another place if anyone recommends one around Oldbridge read more

I just moved to the area and decided to try out Luxe Salon for a gel manicure. The owner was very nice and accommodating. She brought a chair over to put my purse on and brought me all the color options. Jose, my nail specialist seemed very nice and took his time filing and shaping my nails. It wasn't until I got home that I realized my entire nail wasn't polished. It seems as if he didn't coat the front edges of the nails and some sides. I went back the next day and the owner had some one fix on if the nails that was really bad free of charge. Less than a week later another nail is already chipped. I want to like this place because everyone is very nice, however, a gel manicure should cover the entirety of the nail in order to last over a week. read more

Great experience first time around, second time was a nightmare. Nail tech used a crappy ELF top coat polish as a base coat and skipped a base coat on the pedicure altogether. No cuticle clean up. The tech evidently did not want to be there - got sour when I said no thanks to a gel manicure. Then 30 minutes under the dryer and the nails aren't dry - I tried asking for decent topcoat to seal them - tech got snarky and came back at me with the crappy top polish. Said no thanks - got different polish - owner very apologetic, telling me that she is usually a very good girl and that next time I can try another tech and proceeds to charge me for a crappy service that I had to repeat 2 days later. I walked in today with my mom for two manicures and a woman told us that the "owners are not here and for us to call and make an appointment next week" Bizarre! Anyway, she proceeded to give us a business card. I found this strange because there were only a few customers in the salon and I saw nail techs casually sitting around. As I was leaving and getting in to my car I decided to call and request an appointment and she told me to come in the same day at 5:30. I immediately called her out and asked why she refused to see my mom and I when we walked in and she didn't know what to say. Needless to say I will never return to this salon again. Yesterday November 20th I visited luxe nail salon For a gel mani and pedi ON time for my appointment without a nail artist Preference. After about ten minutes of hesitation and chit chat and confusion over who would take me ,,,the male artist worked on my feet for over an Hour and just couldn't seem to get anything right ! He hurt me twice with the buzzing tool while removing my gel polish and when I confronted him about it after getting off my phone call he says no he didn't do anything and that I must have bumped it because it wasn't bleeding. I am a nurse and he knows it he hurt my finger ! He basically burned it with the tool because he got too close to my skin because he was aggravated while working. I tried to explain and show him my previous design that I had on my big toe before removing it so he can duplicate it and he stated he understood and knew how to do it . I literally pointed it out and showed him the design on my toe so he could see what I wanted done. He did what he wanted and I was very frustrated at that point Bc my toe design looked blotched and sloppy. Other artist tried to come fix it but I explained to them it had to be removed and that's the only way for it to be fixed. I didn't receive a foot massage or lotion or hot towel or anything during my service. Just a lot of aggravation. I came in to relax and I received pain and aggravation. I expressed to him that I can't look at my toes like this for the coming weeks and I would like him to remove the polish. Using the same tool and now my toe nail basically PAPER THIN the polish was removed and reapplied and another design was done still not the one I had asked for. It seemed like no one could understand what I wanted even though it was done before and it was on my nail when I first started and I showed it to everyone ! The only thing I didn't do was take a picture . I got my hands completed by Cathy and she put a layer of hard gel on my nails before my gel polish and told me they charge 5 dollars for this but she wouldn't charge me for my hardship. I asked for a gold shimmer accent nail on my hand and she forgot and applied color to both my accent fingers and remedied it with just shimmer on top and said she was sorry. Still no lotion still no hot towel for my hands . She left me to dry under uv, disappeared snd told me someone would wipe my nails when they were finished drying. Finally when I got up to pay. I was told my TOTAL was 70 dollars. I never pay that much for a gel mani and pedi. On average I pay between 60-65 dollars. Now it's not about the 5-10 dollar difference. That means nothing to me. It's the service and meaning behind it. The woman charging me started to explain and break down what I was paying for like it was my first time at a nail salon. I paid for designs on my toe and accent finger on my hand that were NOT what I had specifically asked for . I also paid for a burn a little cut on two toes on my feet. And I also was there for practically 3 hours with all this back and forth. So did you charge me a few extra bucks Bc you knew you were not getting the tip I usually leave my artist? After looking visibly upset and distraught I got a very weak apology by the scheduler /greeter of the salon. I WILL NOT be bringing my business her again. I have had pleasant experiences in the past here but the way the staff handled me yesterday during my very horrible experience is the reason why I will not be returning ever to this salon. And I will be telling everyone I know in the area about it . I am just so disappointed and disgusted. As I was paying for my services I had the woman 80.00 to pay for my $70.00 bill she INSTINCTIVELY but accidentally send me $15 and change and then proceeded to scream an error. Like the salon was going to hang her for giving me The wrong change or rather that I was going to take the money and not give it back even though that was the amount that I was supposed to be charged somewhere between 60 and $65. I tossed the extra five dollars that she accidentally handed me and walked out. Found another salon that will treat me with respect and will admit when they have done wrong. Goodbye and good riddance I will be putting my review on every site that I can make sure that nobody is fooled by a couple of good visit and then a terrible one to follow. read more

I've been coming here for years now and it's truly the best in the area! I'm a mom and they never mind when i bring my three year old in. Today i called last minute and they were booked so Kim said she'd call me if anything changed, not even an hour later she calls and tell me to come in. i would say i cant believe it but rather id say i can. business sent a reply which i replied to and they deleted the second part of their reply so as to delete my reply to theirs. the truth is their entire reply is a lie and none of this should have been an issue at all. i rarely get mani pedi's, thought id treat myself and after spending 60 plus a 12 dollar tip, customer service should have been top priority but unfortunately not for this business. i was there the night before and needed to come back the next day for a couple of toes that got messed up. had the technician not forgotten to put the top coat on until the last second and put them under a dryer or at least used the drying spray on them, i would not have had to return the next day. doesnt matter that tech was on vacation, no one knew my base coat shade of beige that was used for a french manicure, the second i walked in for them to touch them up, i was greeted as a pariah, whisked to a seat and given dirty looks and eyerolls from everyone from the owner to the tech. i had to say how embarrasing it was and whats going on with the attitudes. they put another tech on it, which by the way i know many women who need touchups that go to other salons for their nails and there is never a problem. its called professionalism, treating your customers right so they are happy and will return and give good reviews. read more
