To begin with it looks like absolute shit they're all uneven, wide and thick and she didn't even tell me until the end that there is an extra charge for length and shape which is first off unheard of second should have been said before starting. My sisters and niece also got their nails done and same thing happened with them they didn't tell them either about the extra charges. They added an extra $5 charge for putting glitter on my nieces nails which we didn't ask for. For these nails I posted I paid $60 total $40 for full set with gel polish then $20 extra for shape, length and "french" On top of it all they were rude when we were explaining the problems we had read more

Horrible. On 12/22/20 Asked for a SOAK off, and full set and Sophia tried using a cuticle cutter to rip them off. She cracked my pointer finger nail. ( the real nail). While trying to remove the stones she again used a cuticle cutter and stabbed my middle finger and looked at me like it was my fault!!!! As she is filing down my nails she literally filled a dent into my thumb nail!!! Than has the nerve to tell me, ohhh 10$ extra to take off nail!!!!! Let me start by saying the facility is really nice, very clean! However, when I got there, they sat me immediately and then I waited in the chair for 45 minutes before anyone got to me. When the gentleman finally arrived, the pedicure was just ok. He was VERY rough with the callous remover to the point it hurt and he was clearly rushing because they were busy. She specializes in THAI Trigger Points as well as Korean Hand and Foot Reflexology. Been going to Sophia since March for pedicures and ombre acrylics/fills. She definitely upsells whatever service you originally ask for, but, that is pretty normal and she has always been friendly and did a great job. Yesterday I went in for my acrylics to be removed and for my gel pedicure to be removed and to have a regular polish pedicure. She definitely was not happy with that and took nail clippers and pried and ripped my acrylics off instead if soaking them. It hurt and my nails are so sore. She then PEELED off my gel polish on my toes. She then put so much nail polish thinner in my polish, that my toe nails never completely dried and look a mess. I originally recommended this salon to everyone, but I will now tell everyone my experience. Yesterday's experience was absolutely horrifying and if this is the standard acrylic/gel removal process, it is very negligent on their behalf. read more

About four months ago I stopped in to Luxe nails spa to get a pedicure and a fill. I always feel weird walking into any salon without an appointment but they were very accommodating. Hailey sat me down right away and did a great job on both my pedicure and fill. She was very kind and happy the whole time. Fast forward to today and nothing has changed. Asked for a refill on acrylic and gel polish but ended up with worse results than I began with

I should've went with my first mind and turned around when the person that was greeting me cut me off mid sentence as I was trying to explain what I needed. However, I couldn't make it to the my nail technician and need an emergency repair so I stayed. The technician at this location was so aggressive and rough during my service then when she begin to apply the polish she was just slopping it all over the place and never let it dry. One of the best strip mall pedi places I've ever been to. This place is nicely decorated, not like some of the cheapy ones that look like someone picked up random art of the 80's at a yard sale and slapped it up on the wall. There's actually a color scheme and a relaxing vibe goin on. All of the pedicure chairs are the deluxe massage type with an array of buttons that actually work - although I didn't quite master the controls - I started some program that cause the chair to goose my bum something crazy - BUT ANYWAY - the lady took her time with my toes and the whole feel-good leg massage. I just moved to the area and decided to give it a try based on the raving Fb reviews. It was pure chaos when I walked in. I had 6 different people ask me what I wanted. They took several people in front of me even though I had scheduled an appointment. I can excuse all of that but not the dirty facility. I came in right after they opened and there is nail dust all over the place, the tables your hands are on aren't cleaned, the lysol that's sitting around isn't sprayed before or after clients. If you stand back you can see the water / solution marks on the nail service tables from the previous clients. My nails look ok but this isn't a place I would go back to. read more

I'm not from the area, and I mentioned that 3 times when the woman asked. I had asked for a bit of a pointier nail, and she showed me a generic picture from google on nail shapes. I asked for the almond shape, and then I heard her speaking to the woman next to her and I heard her say oval. I didn't think anything about it. We began refilling my nails and she huffed and puffed about how horrible my nails were, and asking where I got them done last. Again, I'm not from the area. She spent so much time thinning my nails, I had to remind her to straighten 2 of them, and 1 is still crooked. We finished, and my nails are oval. Anyhoo, the peeps at MP do a nice job - I have been there twice with no complaints. Giving three stars because maybe i got the new girl or she was ready to get off work, i dunno. First time in today and i wish it was better. I came in for dip powder and my nail tech couldn't get me out of there fast enough, she rushed thru the whole manicure. My nails are really thick and i had tips put on my thumbs and they are shaped like chiclets. I have had this done numerous times before and they have never been so thick. I was hoping to find a place closer to home. I had her file them a little more but still way too thick. She was rushing so much i actually felt bad for asking to have her thin them out more. Me and my family have been going to Luxe Nail Spa for years. I have been a steady loyal customer of Hailey's for 4 yrs. Today I had an appt at 10:30 to get my eyebrows done, pedicure and nails. I arrived on time but Hailey informed me they tried to call me but she was running about 20 mins behind would I wait for her. I had plans after so I asked her if it was ok to have someone else do my pedicure and then her do my nails and eyebrows, that way I could remain on time. It was nothing against her, clearly I wanted her to do it all. Theresa started my pedicure and then I was informed that Hailey was no longer available to do anything for me. Wait...what?! I was so confused. She said she would be with me in 20 mins. The other ladies could see I was upset and told me Hailey would be over to speak with me. She wouldn't even come talk to me. They told me she didn't have time now but how is that when I had an appt with her for all three services??!! Clearly she was upset and that was not my intention. But to dismiss me like that when I've been such a loyal customer was hurtful and unprofessional. It was my first time visiting this salon. A friend and I went in for a gel manicure and we were immediately helped. Although we were immediately helped, our experience was less than comfortable. We were sat a couple chairs apart and not thinking anything of it, continued on with our conversation. One of the ladies who seemed to continuously get annoyed with me because my hands were "tense" insisted we get up and move seats so that my friend and I may be closer to one another. It was a nice gesture that came off as an inconvenience. Furthermore, my experience became rushed as a regular came in and requested the lady who was providing me my manicure. As a result, my nails have divots in them. I wasn't asked if I even liked my nails. She decided she was finished and left me alone to assist her regular. I went to go get a refill, the place is a nice place so I had some expectations. They did my nails and while they were doing them, I asked the price. I was expecting to be less because these are my real nails,they continued and said 30$. They looked good to me when I was leaving but after letting them sit. I got home and realized there was a bad air bubble in my thumb. So I called them the next day, to come in for them to redo it. Since I have to drive all the way there I asked them to do another nail that had a dent, that dirt would collect right on top of my nail. So I asked them to redo my thumb and pointer on my left hand. They redid my nails. Walked out happy,till I got home. I have another air bubble in my pointer finger they had re done. This repair was quick. But I feel if they took the extra minute to fully make sure my nail was dry underneath I wouldn't be here. I called them and told them politely, they need to take time on nails if they are already fixing them. It's been 3 days and haven't gone back because it erks my nerves. The air bubble has finally popped and let out a little wet paint onto my finger when I was shopping. Very dissatisfied and confused on why I had to pay 30$ just because my real nails are long. I went today for a Manicure and Pedicure. The lady doing my feet used a metal scraper and cut my foot taking off two full layers of skin the size of a dime. Then stuck my foot back in the water. When it came out and she saw the blood she said Oh Shit. Never said another word about it except my nails were in good condition for my age. What a loser person. read more
