We had a five people wedding party come in to get pedi and mani's. We are from out of town and weren't sure where to go. This salon had many good reviews so we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did!.The place was clean and everyone was very friendly, taking pleasure in conversation with us. They had complimentary water with nice message chairs. The owner was very sweet and our nails look great for the wedding! Great for kids also, treated our flower girl very kindly. I would recommend not to get dip done here, don't waste your money!! I went and got my nails done on a Monday, the next day 2 of my nails broke off. I went and got the 2 fixed on Wednesday. By Friday all 10 of my nails were cracked and/or broke off. I went back to get them fixed that following Monday and was told if Hannah couldn't do them to my liking "it's over and we're done" when the only issue I had was that nails that were supposed to last me 3 weeks barely lasted 5 days. I leave the salon with the tips not correctly glued to my nails so there's a gap where stuff has gotten in between the nail. They blamed me and my nail even though the first person who did them didn't have that issue and the manager gave me an attitude. My nails all cracked days later just like last time, one broke so bad that it ripped half my nail off! I talked to my friend about my experience and she said she got the same experience. I am new to the area and picked this place based on the Yelp reviews. I had a great experience. Got a mani and pedi and it was the best I have had in a very long time. This place is super clean and everyone working here is professional. My nail tech was so sweet. I am only in the area for a few months but I will definitely go back. Just got my nails done here and very disappointed. For starters, when I entered the nail salon I was immediately greeted and told I will he helped shortly. However, after 45 minutes I was still waiting. As I got up to leave, I was then told that they were "almost done" and I would be helped very shortly and they invited me to sit on one of their chairs to wait. It then took another 15 minutes. I only needed a fill for my acrylics, which I had done at a salon back at my home town. When I asked for a natural shaped nail, the woman doing my nails did not understand, so instead, I asked for the same shape of acrylic I already had, she said "I don't know what shape that is" and asked if I wanted round or square nails. I ended up with a square shape I was unhappy with. The nail painting itself was also quite sloppy and uneven. The women doing my nails was also very rude, she kept pulling on my hand and seemed as if she was talking about me right in front of me. She also seemed annoyed whenever my hand would twitch and would say I need to "relax" in an aggressive tone. They also charged an extra 3.00 for them to simply cut my acrylics down which is ridiculous. Do not go to this salon. read more

This place was fabulous. I came to get a pedicure on a whim after being underway for a month and I was not disappointed. The space was pristine, the seats comfortable, and the woman was so very friendly. She listened to everything I wanted in earnest and even gave me an extended leg massage. The various polish colors did not disappoint ( I love OPI) either. Overall, I give this place a 5 out of 5 and I will definitely be back! read more

Thought I'd try a new place. Never again! Mediocre pedicure. Had to touch up feet myself at home. But the manicure was the worst. While sitting in the pedicure chair, she put a towel in my lap and placed the bowl in my lap for me to soak my hands in. She then did my fingernails while standing next to me. Very quick. When I left my nails were crooked and rigid. Needless to say, I had to fix them myself also. Back to my usual place after this awful experience!! read more

I went here because my regular place wasn't open yet and I was in somewhat of a hurry. What a mistake. The lady that did my toes was at least pleasant but the woman that did my nails was *awful*. She got up at least 3-4 times in the middle of my manicure. She pulled and tugged on my arms and hands to the point that I was uncomfortable several times. When it came time for the "massage" at the end she was standing up and actually tugging on my arms. I will not be coming back. read more

Manicures and pedicures here are great, waxing...not so much. Had my skin burned/ripped off above each eyelid. 3 inches worth of twin scars. I will never use this place again for waxing and if you value your skin, would recommend you steer clear as well. read more

7Jan12...I have recently moved back to VA and after a 5 year departure, I need a new home for my eyebrows and pedis. Services performed were absolutely HORRIBLE. The shop comes across as nice and clean, but the technician I had was terrible. The lady was chunky with medium length hair, just to give you an idea. She must of had a cold, because she cough on my feet for the duration of my pedicure. Thats disgusting, I wouldn't have mind if she simple turned her head, coughed into her sleeve but on my feet.... that's unacceptable! The polish job she did was equivalent to that of an inexperienced person. I didn't want to start a fight so I just let it go, after all it is winter and my feet will be covered. However, the number she did on my eyebrows has me furious!!! My right eyebrow is now shorter and not even in shape with the left. There is nothing that can be done to fix it, besides letting it grow back. I surely wasn't going to let her continue to shorten them. Overall, the salon looks nice and clean. The service I received was unacceptable and I will NOT be returning here again. Also while I was there, a mother and her daughter came in due to damage to her daughters nails that were done the previous day. They did repair the nails free of charge, however, I would expect a nail set to last at least two weeks. I'm just completely unsatisfied. read more
