Tried to get lashes done here: All rating related to the actual service here seemed amazing so I wanted to give them a try. I tried calling and texting them and they've ignored me for 2 days. I wouldn't be so bothered if they gave me an estimated time that they'll get back to me - for instance: "Sorry we're busy at the moment, let us know if tomorrow would be a better time to set up an appointment." Constantly ignores their phone number when called - all 4x calling them i've gone to voicemail. Sucks cause I can't even review how nice their appointment/services are. read more

Save yourself and do not go here! First off, her address of business says Mercer Island. Wrong she is located in the U-district on the Ave. I purchased a deal through yelp that I am trying to get a refund. I scheduled an appointment with her and on the day of appointment I showed up early because I was not too familiar with the area, I waited for 15 mins after my appointment and when I called her she did not answer and then she responded via text that her "car broke down on the way to the shop" and that she was waiting for a tow to a friends house. She begged me to reschedule and any day would work for her. A little annoyed, I gave her another chance and rescheduled for Monday the next week at 4pm. All of the scheduling was done through text messages. When Monday rolled around I returned again to her little shanty room that she rents and waited in the hallway. She again was not there. And when I called her reminding her about the appointment we made, her only response was that she was out of town and could fit me in this Thursday!!! She was not apologetic at all. She had no regard for the time I wasted to get there. When asked why she was not here she told me that she forgot to put me in the schedule. Jessica is very unreliable and unprofessional. I asked her what I should do because I purchased the deal through yelp, and she told me that she would have to call me back and she never did. Terrible place to make an appointment. I bought the yelp deal and made an initial appointment for a full set of lashes. The woman who owns the business took my call and made an appointment with her for the following week. She shows up 45 minutes late to the the appointment and barely apologizes for the inconvenience. The second appointment I make, for a lash fill, the woman who is scheduled shows up 45 minutes AGAIN. Barely an apology and no concern for my time or inconvenience. I seriously doubt this is a legal business. It seems like a girl decided to open her own business and then hired her friends and told them to come in whenever. I would recommend NEVER coming here or making an appointment. read more

I've been coming here for almost a year, it will be a year next month and I can't believe I haven't written a review!! Jessica is literally the best at what she does nobody else compares. I've been forced to go to other lash salons when she's out of town and it hurts my heart every time lol Their technique doesn't come close to hers and the quality of her lashes are 10x better. I'm never ever going to see someone else while she's out of town. The lashes are lightweight, soft, and just bomb. She plays smooth rnb cuts that will put yo a** to sleep!! We ended up chatting throughout my service and turns out we have a lot in common! Its been like a month or two since I've had lashes and omg she brought me back to life. Just had my lashes done after the manager contacted me to rectify my earlier negative experience. My lashes look great, she was quick and the conversation was pleasant. Good experience overall. Glad she reached out to me- hopefully they addressed whatever issues they had with scheduling. ________ So I make an appointment on their website, get here and notice the door is locked. Ok fine, maybe they are in lunch. It's about 5 min into my appointment and no one is here, the door is still closed, and no one can seem to pick up the phone. Does this place even exist? If they are closed today, why was I allowed to make an appointment? And why can't anyone seem to pick up the phone. As you can tell, I didn't get any services done. I'm actually still waiting in the hall to see if this door magically opens or unlocks. I will definitely NOT be back. If you're deciding on reserving an appt here, DON'T. I really hate writing bad reviews for businesses, I'm typically not one to complain, I consider myself actually pretty easy going but I felt my situation needed to be heard. I was super excited to book this appointment! I read awesome reviews & friends referred me. Made a 8AM appt on a Saturday. I'm sure every mom can feel me on finally getting away for a little "me" time on a Saturday is pretty exciting. Arrived at 755AM, paid $5 for parking. It's not a actual boutique, I'm guessing they're independent contractures so whoever has appts opens it when they arrive. 805AM a little concerned - called the # on the website which is probably the main lady. She answered & said the lady should be there soon. I wasn't trippin, I didn't mind waiting a little longer. 825AM - still no lady, called the number no answer. 835AM called the number 3x no answer or reply to my text. 840AM decided to leave. My biggest frustration is the no follow through. I'm a mom, got a babysitter, paid $5 on parking, was willing to pay that huge amount for lashes + tip. I would think if the lady didn't want to answer her phone, she probably shouldn't have that main number on the website. It's now 2 days later and I still haven't got a call, no apology, nothing. I work in customer/patient services and the main thing that I feel helps situations is a simple apology and explanation. She could've been sick, hungover for all I care but an explanation would've been nice. AFTER reading the bad reviews (I swear I missed those ones prior to booking my appt) BE MORE CONSIDERATE TO NEW FOLKS TRYIN TO FILL YOUR POCKETS. What a disappointment. read more

My appointment was scheduled and confirmed on the same day for 6pm. Once I got there, the door was locked and nobody answered. I had to call the person who contacted me and only then did she mention that she would have someone come late because they forgot the keys! Once inside, the place did not seem very clean. That should have been my cue to go, but for some reason I chose to continue with the service. I was not familiar with the lashes available and the young lady who applied my lashes also did not ask me what I wanted, nor did she bother to show me any lashes. HUGE mistake. Her friend(s) showed up in the room and asked if she was ready to leave. Very unprofessional. It was already unprofessional that she showed up the appointment late, but to have your friends come to see if you're done is also not acceptable. After the service I opened my eyes up to the most unnatural lashes I could have possibly had. I was very upset and disappointed. I tried to resolve the issue with the owner of the "salon" but she did not want to provide me with a refund. She did ask me to come back to have another set re- done but that would have made me very uncomfortable to go back. I just wanted my money back for being dissatisfied. Azizah is super great. I used to get my lashes filled at mayanos in downtown for 100 but would last less than a month, but coming here is way worth it. my lashes look amazing. Azizah is super friendly and just does an amazing job. My lashes are full and look natural. I highly recommend coming to see her!! read more

I had an appointment at Luxelashe on Thursday morning, right before I left for vacation. I booked this appointment weeks in advance so that I would have the perfect tan for my vacation. I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early and the door was locked. I e-mailed, texted, and called many times but never heard back. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP FOR MY APPOINTMENT. I rechecked my e-mail thinking that maybe I had mistaken and not confirmed the appointment; however, I found that I did have a confirmed appointment and I even got a e-mail reminder the day before. I'm still upset because I really wanted to have a tan for my vacation and think it's so rude that the owners have no respect for my time (they still have not contacted me and it's over 24 hours later).
