When I asked her if she had been vaccinated she flipped out, saying that was not my business, and making some other rude remarks about me being pushy and difficult to work with. Then she said she would not do the brows and to not contact her in the future. I walked out feeling that it was in my best interest to not be in a room with an unvaccinated person.

She reached out to me to offer a promotion so I signed up because I've been on the fence and wanting to microblade my thin brows for a long time. She quoted me 5 hours estimation because she is newer. A good experienced artist is *usually* done in 3 hours I've learned. I was on her table for 7 hours and 45 minutes. Completely unreasonable. The day started off fine. I got nervous when it took nearly 3 hours for her to figure out the mapping for my brows. I wasn't happy with how they looked when I left but I just needed to get out of there after 8 hours on a hard table my whole body hurt. Now, I completely understand that you don't get your final result right away and that it needs to heal but this just didn't seem right to me at all. I've looked at hundreds of microblading photos and they never look this bad the same day you leave. I sent my photos to four other artists to make sure I wasn't overreacting and they all agree the shading was off and the lines were not great. One artist said Sefora went too deep into the dermis which is what cause the pigment to be too light, on top of using a shade that was already too light. I had to go through an emergency removal that is painful and Sefora would not even acknowledge any wrong doing on her part and kept insisting it would be fine and I need to let it heal. I have engagement photos in 10 days and now my face is messed up for the next 30 days while it fades and heals before I can do anything to fix it. I wish she had told me before she started that she didn't actually have experience with my type of brows. I asked her for part of my money back for the pain I'm having to deal with and because it was a promotion she refuses to return any of it or acknowledge she made a mistake. The artist I went to for removal had more experience and said I have great skin for microblading but she went too deep. This has been a complete nightmare and exactly why I was so afraid of doing this to begin with. Be careful if you choose Sefora. :( She was very kind during the appointment but it just felt like she didn't really know what she was doing with me specifically.

She REHABBED my poor lash stubs, showed me how to care for my lashes and sent me home with lash wash and instructions for daily care. I never even knew that you were suppose to wash wash wash your lashes ... never mind what to do to retain them. Fast forward to now - my lashes are beautiful, strong and my retention is epic.
