I got XR+ tint for my new car, and it is amazing! The job was done meticulously and the XR+ is just as good as M3 crystalline if that is what you are looking for (very close IR and UV rejection). I live in SF but the drive here was definitely worth it as they have way better availability than all other businesses I have contacted. LuxTint was also the quickest responsive and friendliest. Felix, the owner, also told me about their PPF (paint protection film). I saw a comparison of their job vs another business as someone brought a Porsche in to redo the PPF. The Guys at LUX Tint did an amazing job on my new GV60. They took the time to show me their work and how meticulous they are cutting the film and wrapping the edges. He gave me the overview of the plan and he executed it perfectly. There are practically no edges from the film, so you can't tell any ppf was installed. Really went above and beyond my expectations. The job that his team and he did for my Tesla was fantastic. Last year, I purchased a 2022 Model Y Performance. I wanted to change the look and wanted a Black Matte finish. My brother in law used Lux for another job so I spoke to Lux on what I needed. He was patient and laid out the options. I went with Black Matte PPF with Ceramic coating. I also went with tinting on all of the windows, including the UV/heat resistant front windshield. After I picked up my car from Telsa, I dropped off the car with Lux and then went on a business. During the process, he took pictures and let me know the progress. When I returned from my business trip, I picked up the car and it was more beautiful in person. I typically don't write Yelp reviews, but the customer service at Luxtint was so good I had to share my experience. I found Luxtint because they were the best XPEL tint dealer in the area for their price. Scheduling an appointment through Yelp was quick and easy. On the day of my appointment, one of the employees named Javier greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in. He spent a lot of time thoroughly explaining the options, giving his personal recommendations, and helping me choose the perfect tint. Given how indecisive I am, he even walked me around the lot to show how different tint percentages looked on other cars. It only took a few hours to tint all the windows, including both the front and back windshields. The craftsmanship was excellent. I've heard people complain online about air bubbles in their film from other shops, but I didn't encounter any issues of that sort. I was instructed not to roll down my windows or wash my car for 3-5 days. After a week, I rolled down my windows for the first time and noticed that the film on my driver's side window was slightly uneven and had bits of residual film; none of the other windows had this problem. I was hesitant to bring it up, but I eventually raised this concern with Lux. He handled the situation very professionally, offering to redo the tint job on my driver's side window for free and helping me schedule another appointment. Brought my 2023 sienna here to get all my windows tinted on 12/21/22. I got the XR+ to cut down on the heat for the kiddos. I had a 9 am appointment, but the tinter didn't show up until a little after 10 am. He had me waiting for over an hour. Felix, the owner I think, was on the phone with me and was very apologetic for his employee being late. Honestly, if it wasn't for Felix, I would've left and put a one star review here. Felix made it right and has great customer service skills. The workmanship looks great so far. I won't be able to tell until after the tint cures how well the tint was adhered to the windows, but so far looks great. I've had LuxTint tint windows in two vehicles and they did a fantastic job. One was a Tesla model Y and I just had tint installed on a Ram Promaster campervan. The tint was so well installed that it looks like it came from the factory.
