I had been shopping around and keeping an eye on prices for a while (about a year) on a Nissan Rouge. I am not a quick decision maker so I had plenty of time to research what is a good deal. Many dealerships advertise a price on their website and once you get to the dealership they add extra hidden fees. The price listed on Fitzgerald's website was almost what I ended up paying. I got them to go down on the price a bit (which I felt from my research was just below fair market) and once tags and taxes were paid I was pleased that the end result was very close to what the website listed and still within my budget. From what I understand they don't make traditional commission here so I felt this showed in their ability to be transparent with me.

Needless to say no test drive occurred. Still the car looked good and I wanted to go forward with a PPI I already had setup...owner denied saying he was already losing on transaction at asking price. Really?! Seller produced clean title but Carfax says it was branded Not Actual Mileage. Weird. Was sort of fun talking about cars with him, but that really wasn't why I was there. I would not recommend friends or family try to do business here. Customer service philosophy needs to change.

They don't take a penny off the price and don't give you anything near what you're trade is worth took mine to CarMax and got more than double what they offered and they messed up on my title work and I didn't get my tags and title for months and couldn't even drive my $70,000 vehicle for over a month because my temporary tags expired and they wouldn't renew them. Also I had to drive home it was late at night and they would only give me a half a tank of gas even though I just spent all that money there! I was inconvenienced to get my title work straightened out wasn't many hours and driving hours because I had to go to the main DMV to get it started out which they gave me a very hard time. Well I live in the DC Metro area and needless to say car prices are high and most dealers have "added" charges that can raise the price of the car as much as a thousand dollars or more. I discovered a 300 at Frey Dodge in Lewistown Pa! 160 miles away. Amid the Covid 19 crisis I began corresponding with Roberta (Bobby) at the dealership via email. She was very responsive and accommodating, since I had "many" questions about the car along with request for photo's trying to make sure I wasn't wasting my time traveling 160 miles. The dealership was able to make me feel confident that the car was worth the trip and purchase and even negotiated on the price. So, 160 miles later, I met Bobby, who was professional, polite and friendly. I purchased the car and was done with the transaction in 30 mins. As I was walking out of the door the owner came out and thanked me for the purchase and trusting them with such a long drive. Never thought I would drive so far to purchase a car, but, I will look to Frey Motors again even if it is 160 miles away. Great Place to purchase a car.

I did not receive a reply from the dealership regarding my interest in a vehicle that they were selling. On 11-24-14 at 10:44am, I called the dealership and asked about the same vehicle that they had for sale on their lot. I spoke to a sales representative and they stated that the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 that they had for sale was still on their lot and available. The dealership was located approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from my house. When I arrived at the dealership, I asked about the above mentioned vehicle. I was told by a sales rep that the vehicle had been sold on Saturday, 11-22-14. I asked this man why did someone tell me that it was available earlier in the day, when in fact it was not. He could not give me a straightforward answer. So bare this in mind when dealing with this dealership...... They cannot tell the difference between their ass and a hole in the wall. They have communication issues amongst one another and do not have a care in the world to make a sale. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone because I would not want anyone to go through the same experience that I did.

Had my car for 11 days before the problems started. It has been back to their garage for repairs 13 TIMES. To make a long story short: they sold me a car with a blown MOTOR. All those times it was in for repairs was them putting band aids on a BLOWN MOTOR. When they ran out of bandaids they did put a new motor in. And here's the kicker: they got the new motor with a transmission attached and just threw it in my car without checking it. So when I went to pick up my car and drive it off the lot...the transmission was bad. So...back into their repair shop and my old transmission was put back in my car..My car let me sit twice because the alternator bolt had worked itself all the way out to the firewall. That was because the "mechanic " didn't tighten the bolts. I dont even think their "mechanics" are certified. Oh, did I mention that I had to take it back after the motor and transmission swap because the motor mounts were never tightened and my car sounded like a bucket of bolts going down the road. There are too many things for me list but that's it in a nutshell. I even tried to have a mediator speak with them about doing right by me. And you know what they did? They not only refused but they LIED to the attorney general's office. They are very unprofessional and do not know how to treat people. I was more than understanding. All this happened within a span of 6 months!!! If you do decide to purchase from there, take along a licensed mechanic or someone who knows about cars. And be very very LEARY. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I went tbrough.

I traded in my Bronco for a newer car and I am very happy with the people that work there and the way they treat people. Yes, the cars are auction cars, but these day what used car dealer isn't. They are fairly priced and right on par with most other dealer out in that area. Great Selection of cars and trucks.
