Lesson learned: It is a terrible idea to put a drunken person about to throw up into a cab. (see below review for Yelp Elite event for details) Why? Because the cab company will take your cell number that you used to call them, share it with all the other cab companies, and then they will all BLOCK and BAN you from calling ever again for a cab :( Moral of the story: Now when every me and my friends need a ride to and from a night at the club we have use Limo services. Which REALLY SUCKS since 99.9% of the Limo services in Boston are utterly HORRIBLE!!! Smelly Creeper drivers, Cars decorated in the 1970s, Never on time, and an over all Craptastic experience (see 1 star reviews below) Not to mention: try and get a girl to go home with you from the club in a limo that looks like it was last used to carry Liberace's dead body (yeaaaah...not gonna happen...Unless the girl looks like Liberace and then the Green Line would do fine anyway) But Eureka! Last weekend we finally found the one good Limo Service in Boston!!! Luxury Fast Ride was indeed: Luxurious, Fast and an AWESOME ride! First: It was RIGHT on time. How is THAT for atypical Boston Service where everywhere else time (when it's YOUR time) appears to be relative (as in relatively horrible) Second the car: Brand new and AMAZING! It was kind of like if you took the whole glittering sky line of Shang Hai and shrunk it down into a stretch limo. Third the Driver! (And this was like something from the twilight zone) Ever other single limo driver I have ever had in the past was some ex-con looking dude with a Mullet and an odor of dead cats. So imagine our stunning surprise when the Driver for Luxury Fast Ride shows up and it is a Smoking HOT twenty two year old model looking girl named Jessica. She explained that she actually IS a Model and something about starting the limo company as an entrepreneurial venture on the side but by that point I was just too busy staring at her chest to really hear a word that she said. (But at least I was better then all my friends who said "Gaaaah! ...How much did we pay for her?" But then I explained she was just the driver they sent at regular charge) And she was actually a very good driver to (forever killing the stereotype that women don't drive as well as men). She got us to the club in record time, dropped us off right in front and picked us up right at 2am as we arranged and then got us all home safe and sound (except for my friend James who no one has seen or heard from since...but no one really liked him anyway...kidding) And the pricing was very decent (dividing it up among a group- I think it is cheaper then taking the MBTA commuter Rail.) So all In all - an Amazingly good experience! When the Car is nicer then the best dance club in Boston and the girl driving it is hotter then the best looking girl in the best dance club in Boston then you know you have chosen the right Limo Service! SERVICE: I rented a stretch limo from Luxury Fast Ride for when I proposed to my girlfriend. My driver, Mitt, was great. He was 1 part driver and 1 part wingman. I had a full elaborate plan for the proposal which included picking her up from work in a limo. Mitt gave me some extra ideas that made the night even more special. Just one example... I only brought one bottle of champagne with me since we usually aren't big drinkers. But then when we ran out, Mitt pulled a bottle out from his own collection and then didn't even charge me for it. AMENITIES: The limo really does look like the pictures on yelp. It was just the two of us, so we obviously had way more space than we needed. I could have imagined piling 12 friends in there comfortably. Another nice touch was that the music system has an auxiliary input so I was able to plug in my iphone and play a special mix that I'd made. All the other standard limo things are there (champagne glasses, privacy window, etc.). PRICES: When I was planning the engagement I called around to ~10 limo services in the Boston Area. Luxury Fast Ride tied for the lowest rate, and had the best availability which is why I chose them. I didn't even have to give a credit card to reserve the limo (which actually made me a little uncomfortable... but it all worked out). I was able to pay with credit card to the limo driver at the end of the night. No hidden fees or anything else. I hired Luxury Fast Ride to provide car service for my daughter and her date to their junior prom. The booking process was simple and the communication with them was superb. As i travel a lot of business i need to get a quick turnaround on my expenses. So, this company uses technology to send email receipts its' been now 4 days later and I have yet to receive my receipt for the car ride. I called the company and spent more time chasing the receipt. Note to self - UBER is better. Called the phone number listed and asked the service rep to send me the receipt and commented how they need to use better technology and they basically said feel free to use other companies!!!?? I guess they don't like customers giving advice on their business model. We did a four hour party, 10-2 on a Saturday night, with various stops all over Boston. We rented the 14 passenger limo, and it suited the 12 of us perfectly, but might have been tight with more. The interior was festively lit, 80s style, had an 1/8" jack for music devices, and plenty of champagne flutes to celebrate! Our driver was courteous, punctual, and professional. I've been using Luxury Fast Ride for two years now for business trips. Every pickup is 15 minutes early, and they always wait for you after baggage claim at the airport.
