Brought my friend here for her birthday and because I have been seeing reels on instagram showcasing this place. We made our reservation for 3pm but unfortunately when I called a few days before to confirm my appointment, they let me know they double booked and that my reservation never went through. Very unfortunate since this was a gift, but thankfully they were able to accommodate me at 2pm. The parking lot is really small and luckily I got the last spot. I am pretty sure you can park in the shopping center next door but you will just have to walk. This area tends to be busy due to all the restaurants and tea houses in the area. Make sure to arrive early for this reason. As soon as you walk in, you are directed to a "changing room". You need to take off everything head up. They give you a bag to keep your items secure under the table that you lay on during your spa treatment. The experience was so relaxing and even relaxed me so much that I fell asleep. They give you a whole head massage, face massage, scalp massage, and just pamper you during the 1-hour package we reserved. After your session is done, they blow out your hair. We both decided to opt in for the 75 min package but felt like a waste of money to just get our hair shampooed like 3 times! The shampoo and conditioner smell were horrible , it took me days of washing my hair to get rid of the expired coconut smell. Most facialists will tell you everything they put on your face I'm not sure if products were actually dermalogica . I use dermalogica and none of the face products smelled like the products I use . To celebrate one of our girlfriends getting married, we wanted to spend time together at a head spa. It's been on all our bucket list for at least a year. I saw the IG posts about Luxury Head Spa so I called and made reservations for a party of five. The girl on the phone was super nice and even said that cash payments would get a discount. Our appt was on a Saturday at 11am. We booked a 75 minutes session. We were told to arrive 15 mins earlier to get changed into a smock. The entire session was relaxing and the ladies were good. Some better than others but in general they were all good. Some of my friends fell asleep during their massages. Our sessions included, head/scalp massage, a mini facial, upper body massage, a water head therapy and a blowout. All in all for 75 mins, it was a deal. We felt comfortable and very relaxed. So that was the pros. As for the cons, the place looked old and outdated vs other head spas in OC. They didn't serve any drinks like teas, water, sodas or coffees, which isn't a huge deal breaker but other head spas charge the same and offer a bit more in terms of what you get with your services. There was a self-service thermal with some herbal tea you can help yourself to with the tiny tiny paper cups I've ever seen at a spa (the same tiny cups you get at the Dentist at the end of your teeth cleaning to rinse with). The other part that we all didn't like was that towards the end, we felt super rushed as they had a lobby full of next appts waiting for their session to start. None of us got a full blowout like we saw from other customers before our session. Those customers had a complete and nice blowout. Two of us didn't even get a blowout. They basically just towel dry our hair and asked us to pay. LOCATION - Tiny strip plaza at the corner of Magnoia/Bolsa (in the corner) PARKING - Very small plaza with limited parking. Luckily, we carpooled so we found a parking spot. VERDICT - We would not come back. The masseuse were nice and friendly but the place is old, and we didn't like feeling rushed out of the hair station so they could move on to the next customers. For the price, you can go to other head spas in OC that just offer more spa touches to make you feel you are in a real spa vs being in an office with dividers. It was my first time going to a head spa. I came here for a 60 minute head massage package. When you come into the establishment, they'll give you a smock to wear. You lay down and they start with a dry head massage with their hands. Then they start to do a mini facial which I loved. It seemed like the masseuse used some kind of oil and lotion and massaged my face. It felt so good! They also massaged the upper part of your body around the shoulder area. The last part was the head water massage using the machine. The water temperature was warm and it sprayed lightly over your shoulder, face, and head. It was refreshing but kind of short. Finally they wash your hair and dry it. I really felt so relaxed and comfortable doing a head massage for the first time. I would definitely go back since I enjoyed it so much. Loved it! read more

However, my friend and i's experience was not great, they were very careless when washing our face wash out, I was inhaling water and it was in my eye, since the shower head held directly on our face, they didn't protect our eyes. Then they placed the face masks on my friend roughly, she said she felt like she was eating the face mask bc the serum was getting into her mouth and she could taste it. I genuinely appreciate the staff taking a last minute appointment for me, they seem really kind and that goes a long way. I opted for package #5 and with the cash discount it came out to $122. My issues are with the quality of what they use. I don't have issues with breakouts but a day after this appointment I noticed multiple breakout section on my cheeks and jaw and the timing leads me to believe it was a result of what tools and products were used. In addition while the shampoo and conditioner smelled good my hair was very dry and coarse post session when usually it has a sheen and nice softness when I've visited other head spas . Cute little spot. I was able to request an appointment for 4 people a few days before Saturday, and they were able to accommodate us in the same room. If you're looking for a spot that will give you a hair analysis with the little microscope camera, this place is not it. But if you're looking for a spot for relaxation, you've found the spot. We all got package #3, which is essentially part facial, part hair spa. It comes with light massages of the head, face, and shoulders. Overall, the space looked clean. After the spa, they will blow dry your hair. They definitely struggled with my friend's natural tight curls and the poor girl left with the frizziest hair I've ever seen her in, but they do blow dry your hair with dysons, unlike other hair spas who leave you walking out with soaking wet hair. The parking lot is small but there was enough for the plaza on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived on time for our 12:30pm appointment. We were given a bag with a top to change in upon checkin. The spa areas are divided by curtains so not the most private but it did not affect my experience or bother me. Me and my friend were in a double spa bed area which was nice. We did package 3 for $85 which included a mini facial, scalp scrub/wash and hot stones. I was surprised at how much facial work they did. It was nice but wish I had more of a massage on my neck, shoulders etc. However, Anh did a great job with me and was not too rough with the facial and I didn't experience any waterboarding with the ring. I enjoyed the scalp scrub as well. Our experience was right at 60 minutes. I enjoyed overall. I just wish they did more of a blow dry upon ending but I know they had appointments waiting. At the beginning they used a silicon (or rubber?) bristle hairbrush, which on my 2B hair was roughly tugging at my scalp. When the hair treatment began, each step (shampoo, conditioner, etc) included painful scratching and scrubbing on repeated places on my head which was very uncomfortable. I came here today 8/17 with my 2 sisters I made appointments through their website for 10am. It was our first time coming. Lots of things I didn't like. They didn't explain anything to us when we walked in it felt rushed from the start. They just handed us bags with the robes for us to change in. Then walked us to the stations. The ladies are very nice but this place still needs a lot of work. We got package #2 and I am glad I did because if I would have gotten a more expensive one I would have been upset. The massaging was nice the hair washing was okay. I don't think she used conditioner on my hair it felt soooo dry, or maybe they are using cheap products idk because nothing was shown or explained. Towards the end when she was blow drying my hair she didn't t put enough product in my hair it was so frizzy and dry it looked horrible not beautiful or supple it looked bad. I barely had time to get comfortable on the bed before the technician was already untying my hair, lifting my feet, and trying to position me. It immediately made me feel uncomfortable. The service itself was extremely rough. Instead of being relaxing, it was painful. The technician repeatedly dug her nails into my scalp and head. I even asked her to please be more gentle, and although she said "okay," she continued using the same amount of pressure. At one point she asked if I was okay because I was visibly grimacing, and I honestly told her, "No, it hurts." Despite that, nothing changed and she continued the service the same way. The back massage afterward was just as unpleasant. Rather than a relaxing massage, she repeatedly pounded my back with her fists, which was painful instead of therapeutic. When it came time to dry my hair, the blow dryer was held so close to my head that it repeatedly burned my scalp. My hair also wasn't fully dried before the service ended. I paid for a 1 hour and 15 minute package, yet I was out of the salon in under an hour. At checkout, I was given a 10% discount, but no explanation was provided for why I received it. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was how I was pressured to leave a tip. The technician repeatedly told me to send the tip while I was standing there. When I said, "Okay, I'll send one," she responded, "No, send it right here," and waited while I did it. The viral video with the influencer is just plain wrong- to get everything showed you are getting the biggest package priced at $159 (10% discount for paying cash). I chose option #3 ($85), which included the neck and shoulder massage. If you're looking for a hair assessment, a real massage, or a true blow dry you are in the wrong place- just like if you are getting a manicure or pedicure the massage offered is not the same as if you went to a real massage therapist. My technician was Anni and she did a good job. Full scalp massage, shoulders and neck massage and mini facial. I was happy not to be allergic to any of the products. I have curly hair and she didn't knot it up but I passed on the blow dry so she just brushed my hair and put in some leave in conditioner. After doing some research this is the most affordable place and I was overall happy with my service with no water boarding feeling. I did have one towel that smelled like a diaper, there was a hair on my face most of the time that drove me crazy, and the massage had me wanting my real massage therapist. I am going to return to try the best package so I can experience what I saw in the viral video that had me trying this place to begin with. In the end I think I'd rather spend that kind of money going to Glen Ivy for the day or getting a true massage from a licensed massage therapist. Overall my face and hair are happy. read more

My partner and I recently visited this head spa and booked a couples package. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the luxury standard that was advertised. To start, we were instructed to arrive 15 minutes early for our appointment, yet we ended up waiting approximately 30 minutes before being seen. No explanation or apology was offered for the delay, which was disappointing considering how much emphasis was placed on arriving early. The overall professionalism of the spa also fell short of expectations. Several employees were dressed in a way that did not feel appropriate for a luxury spa environment, including very short skirts and crop tops. While everyone should be comfortable in what they wear, the overall presentation did not match the upscale atmosphere being marketed and made both my partner and me feel uncomfortable during portions of the service. Cleanliness and presentation were also concerns. The towels used to dry our faces and hair had an old, unpleasant smell. In addition, some of the products being applied to our hair and faces had questionable scents that did not feel fresh or high quality, which took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. The washing portion of the service could also use improvement. When washing our faces and hair, water frequently got into our ears, which was uncomfortable and distracting. Staff should be more mindful during this part of the service to ensure guests remain comfortable. Privacy was another major issue. We specifically booked a couples package expecting a private experience. Instead, we were placed in a room with another guest and separated only by a small curtain that provided very little coverage. We could easily see the person next to us receiving their service. For a premium couples package, I would expect either a private room or a full divider that actually provides privacy. The ending of the service felt rushed as well. When it came time to dry my hair, two employees worked on it at the same time and moved as quickly as possible, making it feel like they were trying to finish the appointment and move on rather than providing a relaxing conclusion to the experience. Perhaps the most disappointing part was that we did not feel that we received the full massage time that was included in the package we paid for. Given the delayed start, rushed ending, and overall timing of the appointment, it did not seem like we received the full service that was advertised. Overall, if a business is going to market itself as a luxury head spa, the experience should reflect that through professionalism, punctuality, cleanliness, privacy, quality products, and attention to customer comfort. My wife and I experienced the 75 minute VIP Package #4 today. It was our first time visiting a head spa. We completely enjoyed the experience which included head, shoulder, face, arms and hands massage. Hot stone treatment, facial treatment. Scalp treatment and shampoo and overall full pampering. This place is one of our fav head spas we've ever experienced! It's so affordable, and the staff is SO friendly and fun! We got package 3 and it did not disappoint. We came to try out the hair treatments and did not know it came with a head and shoulder massage so that was a very pleasant surprise! Definitely have to spread the word about this place because they deserve the recognition!! read more
