I visited yesterday afternoon after purchasing the Heiwa package. My first visit here was in February with a friend, and after the first visit I just knew I had to come back. My kind friend brought me as a birthday gift. This time, I brought my boyfriend with me and we both left feeling very relaxed and well pampered. The facility is very clean, serene, peaceful, and a 10/10 spa environment. I believe they allow up to 5 bookings per time, but each time I have visited, it has ended up being just myself and the person I came with. The scalp massage is wonderful. We both fell asleep during this part of the service. I woke up when the face mask was applied, only because the product is cold. The shoulder/neck massage is also great. The ladies performing the services are very strong. I woke up the next day feeling quite sore, in a good way. I purchased the 5-pack of the Heiwa service, so I look forward to returning next month with a different friend. I really enjoy introducing friends to this spa. read more

Booking online was very easy and required deposit . We came here for my birthday, it located in the corner of the plaza with plenty of parking. We really liked the ambiance of the place. There even small snacks and refreshments. After getting checked in, we were able to choose the essential oil series for our appointment. I was genuinely surprised at the amount of service for the price. It was relaxing and I was surprised at the facial cleansing and the mask applied. It smelled like watermelon and cucumbers. The last part of the appointment was very strong. I don't know if I was very tense it was high intensity. But the next day I felt very light and not sore. I think I was not used to the intensity. The blow drying after the wash was well done and I was very happy with everything. Water is also provided and I felt like I was very well taken care of. Really solid head spa (I've tried many!) I did the 85 minute Heiwa package but I can see why so many of the customers bump it up to the 100 minute Shizuka package. Packages often included massages (arms, shoulders, neck, scalp), shampooing/conditioning, facial and blow dry. The technician I had was amazing and thorough and was an incredible masseuse (in fact she made sure the massage my arms/upper body throughout the experience). She was strong but it didn't hurt and I was so relaxed I fell asleep at a certain point. And after my blow dry, my hair looked fluffy and incredible. Facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. Came for the Heiwa service ($119 for 85 mins). It was so relaxing and they take care of your from beginning to end with the same person. It starts with choosing your essential oil, which they waff throughout. The scalp massage was soothing- so much that I likely fell asleep for some part. They washed my hair meticulously and carefully. They also put on a cream mask to moisturize and unclog my pores. Lastly you end up with a blow dry to volumize the hair. A gem of a spa in a sea of head spas that have taken over OC in a chokehold. Meaning if you google or yelp for one, you'll have lots of options. Zen head spas lives up to its name- you leave feeling extremely 'zen' and thanking yourself that you invested in your self care. When you come in or leave, the manager running the salon is engaged, welcoming, and kind. You can tell this is the staff want you to have an amazing time, and their skill level gets better every time - this is my second time here and Tracy's masseuse technique got even better. Keep it up Tracy! I came with some friends and they were asked about the firmness of the massage and preference. I love that they're able to accommodate a group, and the operations is efficient and clean. Other perks: discounts for 5 pack- packages and you can share your package with your partner or friends. If you like your first service (you will) you can count that first service as part of your package. Plenty of parking and great food nearby. There are a lot of 10 minute parking spots nearby but allegedly they do not tow. This was my first head massage experience and I can say that the only thing that was disappointing was that I didn't get a longer service . I got the Sakura service and didn't really know what to expect. There's ample parking in the lot so one less thing to worry about. When I got here, There aren't private rooms but the areas are sectioned off by curtains and still maintains a serene and private environment. Since the Sakura includes a neck and shoulder massage I was asked to take off my shirt which caught me off guard since I was with a friend and didn't expect it but they allow you to keep undergarments on and cover you with a blanket which made it really cozy. The hair wash was nice but the neck and shoulder massage was the star of the show for me. It was a great first time and I've already booked my next session ! read more

Been to a few scalp spas and this one definitely is high up on my favorites! Absolutely beautiful, clean, and serene spa. Friend and I split the certificate package and highly recommend you get the package cause you are going to want to come again! Zen (the owner) has magical hands and literally did the best scalp scrub using her fingers and not her nails. She literally is so gentle but firm and scrubbed every part of my scalp. My scalp felt so clean and rejuvenated. She didn't have to use any accessories like the fancy shmancy machines. Some places with use different brushes and different scalp tools, but she literally uses the force and power of her hands. Literally knocked out like a baby in the chair and woke up to myself snoring lol. Keep in mind I have scalp psoriasis and she did such a good job with it all and my scalp was so clear afterwards. She also did a beautiful blow out with the Dyson blow dryer and used wonderful products that made my hair look absolutely beautiful. Zen literally made me feel and look so good! My friend also really enjoyed her service with her technician too, we both really felt relaxed and enjoyed our treatment. We cannot wait to come back again. Highly recommend. Again I have very sensitive scalp and skin, and all her products were very gentle and did not burn. The shoulder massage was to die for and she has very brand new equipment too of the line. Went to Zen Head Spa about a month ago. Saw a TikTok on it and seemed cool. Did their $85 Sakura package, which per their website came with: Scalp massage with salt and oil Shampoo and conditioner Hot towel Neck and shoulder massage Face cleansing Cucumber mask Blow dry (15 mins) This felt more like an over-paid hair wash and nothing else. The neck and shoulder massage, I asked for it to be firm and the person that did mine seemed very timid and did it light. The scalp massage didn't last very long. And I wish they would have given the option of a longer massage and not done the blow dry. The Sakura is usually $105 but is currently on special for $85. Basically after the tip, it was $105 anyways. Personally, would not return. I've had better for less price and closer to home. read more

I booked a 90 min head spa experience with friends using the online 5 pack deal which came out to about $100 per person before tip. The deal is insane value for your money since they allow you to book as a group or separate into different visits. We all really enjoyed our experiences! The head spa is done in a soft adjustable recliner and since we were all friends, they didn't set up curtains between each chair. The head massage, shampoo, and steam were very relaxing. I could have done without the facial and mask, but it was a nice addition if you don't typically get facial treatments. I especially loved that the massage included the neck, shoulders, arms, hands, and upper back. The 90 minute treatment comes with a blow dry at the end of the experience. I have straight hair, so the blow dry wasn't anything special, but my friend has wavy hair and her hair looked like she had a full blow out after the blow dry. I definitely found this whole experience to be relaxing and rejuvenating and would return. It would be great if they offered the 90 minute treatment without the facial but with more massage time instead! read more

The scalp massage, neck, arm, shoulder massage everything was sooo good. I really had to try to not fall asleep. I also loved that they only used hands for the head spa since a lot of places use those trickling water thingies on your head. They even blow dry your hair so you leave with soft, beautiful hair. A few days ago, I came in with a group of friends on my birthday to do a headspa experience using their BLACKFRIDAY24 promotion. I had booked mine, my sister's, and my boyfriend's services and my other friends booked their own. Other than my boyfriend, we all did the 90min session Shizuka ($125 normally, $90 for the promotion) My experience during the actual massage and cleaning and facial was just okay. However, when it came to checkout, I was told that the promotional ad mentions that the payment must be made in cash or Venmo. I attached a screenshot of the ad where I got the discount and nowhere in the video or the post made on their instagram did it mention it being only cash. So it came down to my friend and I being pressured to pay for our services AND tip in either cash or Venmo, being told there was no option for us to pay in credit card. ALSO there's a MANDATORY tip of 20%, there were no other options. If you give less, the worker then looks at you expecting more and you're pressured to put out. I would've given tip regardless but I don't like to be forced into a position, that's outright shady and unprofessional. Will not be coming back to a business where there is no transparency. read more
