I called for a diagnostic and received service the same day! The vehicle was ran through diagnostics and maintenance was done within 2.5 hours. On the drive home the engine misfired and replicated the same issue. I called and they offered to have the vehicle re-towed. They resolved the problem efficiently, replaced the fuel injector connector with no charge and had me on my way promplty. It's been three weeks, no issues.

I visited Sunny Auto Clinic after purchasing a Living Social coupon for Emissions and Safety…read moreinspection. I dealt with Sunny, the owner, the entire time and it was a great experience. If you're like me, I dread going to an automotive service center as they typically are very pushy and make you feel bad for not taking a service. I have to say this experience was great. They got the inspections done in lightning time, were very informative about the condition of my car and gave me some tips on what to look out for. They truly preach the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" saying allowing me to buy a little more time out of my car before my next major repair. I had an unfortunate accident with my car (vw jetta gli) where the parking brake was not engaged…read morefully so the car rolled down my driveway and collided with a tree. This left damage to my front bumper, driver's side fender, and driver's side fog light. AK automotive gave me the best estimate compared to another body shop next door. When I entered, the owner greeted me and treated me with kindness and respect. He accompanied his technician and I to see my car and evaluate the damage which I appreciated. The sheet he provided which summarized my estimate was very straightforward, clearly outlining what I would be charged for in parts paint and labor. The other shop gave me a several page long estimate full of convoluted terms and charges. AK Automotive gave me no fine print charges just clear honest business! I dropped my car off the same day and they had it done two days later! They replaced my front bumper and driver's side fender, replaced my fog light, and painted my front bumper, driver's side fender, and door. The paint job is a perfect match! My car looks brand new as they also gave it a nice wash! They charged me exactly what the estimate stated. They also ended up not needing a part for the repair so they deducted the price of that part from my total. I could not be more satisfied with my experience with AK Automotive. The owner seems to take pride in his business and gives fair and honest pricing for services. The technicians are professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions (i had many). I hope to not need car repairs anytime soon, but I will certainly do business with AK automotive in the future if I do need them. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone! Thank you!

THE GOOD: The work done for my bumper was phenomenal! Didn't even look like there was any damage…read moredone to it. The paint was matched perfectly and there were no signs of any holes or damages. Couldn't have been happier. I'd definitely recommend bringing anything body-work related to this shop. They have the best prices and the turn around time was quick. THE BAD: This might not be bad if you have a lot of money and aren't cheap like me but I was quoted for $340 over the phone and then when I brought the car in they said it would cost me $420... I didn't like that they switched the price up on me like that but it was still cheaper than any other place I went to so I accepted the $420. When I went to pick my car up, I went to their Yelp page where I initially saw their great reviews and saw that they had a 20% off coupon if you checked in at their shop. I checked in and received the 20% coupon from Yelp. When I presented it to the owner, he stated because I didn't spend over $2500, he won't give me the 20%. I told him, they should specify that on the coupon so people don't get confused. He continued to state if I had spent more money at his shop then they would honor the 20%.... What? lol. So I was able to convince him to give me a 10% off coupon instead which is still good I guess. Got $40 off instead of $80 so my total was $380 but still... Its the principle of honoring your own coupons. Anyways, they would've received 5 starts if they honored their initial over-the-phone price as well as the coupon. There work is still great though!

I can always depend on them to do the job I need, trouble shoot promptly and accurately, make the repair the first time...and at a fair price. Their prices surprise me, being so competitive. I trust them, as they do not sell service not needed. When I took my car for spark plug replacement due to the mileage they said the plugs looked fine and didn't need replacement. Once, when I replaced a plug myself and it eventually "blew out" I thought the engine was ruined. Nicholl's fixed the bad plug with an insert for $60.00! Oh, I have 4 cars, all over 120,000 miles. They care for them all, including my 1990 clunker with 242,000 miles and my Lexus. Recently my brother had an estimate from the dealer for $3,500 of needed repairs so he was going to get rid of the car. I took it to Nicholl's and for $800.00 they got it running perfectly. Their location is not the easiest to get to, but there is a bus stop on Columbia Pike near the shop. I frequently drop my car off in the morning, ride the bus to DC, and pick up the car on the way home. Convenient

She called Nicholls and they told her that it would be $150.00 as they would most likely have to take the bumper off, would be an hour and a half service, and to also order the bulb. I took her to advance auto parts on arlington BLVD, she paid $15.83 after tax for the bulb and we were back to the office with the bulb replaced in 15min. I had it towed on a Friday morning and Steve called as soon as it arrived. They ran some tests and called with the results. We discussed what they found and what needed to be done. Steve was aware I had borrowed a car and wanted to mine back to me as soon as possible. He called a few times that day with updates. By the end of the day it was still not running 100% and he wanted to keep it until Saturday morning. They found the problem and fixed. It runs better than ever. Steve called me first thing Monday morning to see how it was running. He wanted me to replace the filler cap since it was old and may cause the check engine to come back on and wanted to add some engine cleaner to the gas tank. I took it back a couple of days later. He did all this and only charged me for the parts. I will definitely take my X5 back. I already referred 1 person who has taken their X3 in.
