I went to Luxury Nails to use my gift certificate that I received on my birthday in December 24, 2019, I could not use it because the pandemic happened in February/March and the gift certificate had no expiration date, the owner said I could not use it because it is only good for 3 months! This was the 2and worse experience I have ever had with my acrylics! First the woman was using the same tools in me as the other girl in there. Second, I asked for stiletto shape and she didn't want to do it because she said they were hard to shape. Most of my nails have a little ball of acrylic on them. Third she added the 20 layers of gel polish. These nails came out bumpy and uneven. For stiletto shape, they have very little point to them. They look more like almond shape. They're ugly. So as soon as I walked in, it said cash only. But I asked and they accepted card... doesn't make sense. I went in for a color change on my acrylic gel nails and for a pedi. The woman doing my acrylic hand nails kept cutting me with the machine. The woman doing my pedi got mad because I asked her to fix my French tip. She blamed my toe nail for being "crooked" . I've never had an issue before with it. And the only reason it looked crooked was because she only cut one side of it. How does that make sense? We got into a little argument because she said "you don't know how to do it". They are MY nails. I know how I like them and I know how I want them done. Idk why nail techs get so bothered when we ask for a simple change. Oh, and their selection of nail colors was horrible. They have broken and dirty plastic nail "cards". You know when they ask you to pick a color? They charged $30 for a color change. I was so mad that I paid $70 for a horrible pedi and a nail color change. Wtf. I won't be coming here again. So disappointing. I have been waiting months for a pedicure and full set. I came in at ten ( my appointment time) and was told they had me down for twelve. Had to wait thirty mins to get my toes started,Maria, was friendly but did a horrible job felt like having my polish removed at the end and doing it at home myself later. I felt like I was upsetting her when I was pointing out the polish on my skin or the missing paint on the nails. Finally straw when told I will have to wait for another nail lady because Maria only does pedicures and manicures. I decided to go to a different salon for my full set. Poorly mismanaged and rude. Gel coffin nails is what I usually get, Amy's shape work is very dull. If your looking at what I'm seeing you should notice all the imperfections as far as shaping goes, uneven work. Not sure about other reviews here but I've been here a few times now and my nails have been great every time. Should've listened to these yelp reviews. Wanted to give them a chance and I regret it so much. I went in for a pedicure and full set. To start off my pedicure was so bad it looked like she was just poking at my finger nails instead of removing cuticles. When she cut my toe nails she didn't even use nail clippers she used the cuticle nipper and cut them uneven. She kept filing my nail for some reasons. I would've done a better job at home with my pedicure and not end up with uneven nails. As for my acrylic I asked for a coffin style and the tips she was using were small so I asked if she could use wider tips she said once I apply the acrylic I can make them wider. She did them and I asked if she could even them out because they weren't the same. Before she painted them I asked her if she could make them even on top because they felt really lumpy she said they were fine and another lady came and they said something to each other so she filed one nail only then she wanted to paint them. I asked her if she didn't see how uneven they were she said no they're fine so I told her to leave them like that because they were so ugly already and she said let me paint them but there was no point in painting them if they were lumpy. It was such a waste of my 2 hours to come out with the worst pedicure and half bad done acrylics. During the process when I was asking her to even them out she asked me if that was my first time maybe because I was asking her to fix them or I don't know why. Horrible they deserve ZERO stars. Maria does nails good but the one in the back with a deep ass voice is really freakin rude and sucks at polishing nails. She didnt even give me a manicure like i asked she just filed my nails and did a shitty paint job. She was in a rush and they looked terrible! My 2 yr old daughter can do a better job than that. After complaining to 3 different broads maria decided to re-do my manicure, actually soak my hands and cut my cuticles and did them pretty good. Clean place, but they're loud on "how bad you needed a mani/pedi" like I get it that's why I'm here.

I went in with two of my friends. We went in an hour before they close and we were told we did not need an appointment. They took us in and we all got pedicures. The lady I had was not balancing the led light correctly and bulb kept touching the side of my toe. I would move my foot and she'd tap my leg and say "hold still" and I would tell her it's burning my foot. She'll say something in her language and the three other ladies working with her looked at me and started laughing. She did a frustrated exhale and held the actual led lamp. There were also a lot of gnats so the salon definitely wasn't that clean, the lady was holding the led lamp and she kept shooing the gnats away from her face and my feet. Another lady was working on my friends pedicure, she would not stop belittling and making jokes about her ingrown toe. First off it was barely developing, she had a minor pain when she wore her shoes. She told us her original nail salon would always fix it if she had an ingrown toe nail. But the nail tech who was helping my friend would say things like, "why is your toe like that?" Or "you might have a tumor I'm not touching it" and "you're going to be crying when you don't have a toe because you don't want to go to the doctor." If she didn't feel comfortable doing the pedicure, she could have said that instead of causing a scene and having everyone else in the salon look at her. There's no need to make rude comments. The salon finally closed but we're waiting on my last friend to finish up. Another woman came into the salon wanted to ask how much a full set and gel would cost. Not only was the lady in the front register brushing her off and saying "we're closed come tomorrow" the lady outside was just confirming a price. The woman who was at the front register just kept yelling out "no uñas tonight. No uñas tonight come tomorrow" the lady outside was shocked and she left the business. The three lady's started laughing about the situation and my friends and I just wanted to leave the business. They're so incredibly rude, all of our pedicures look so lumpy, the salon had so many gnats. This salon was by far the worse one I've been to. read more

This review is for the eyelash extensions. This is my second time getting mine done and I must say I am extremely happy! I have gotten other extensions before and I'm more happy with the way Luxury, does they're extensions than any other place I've been to.
