unfortunately the lash retention was really poor. I started noticing a lot of fallout within the first couple of days. I did go back within their 3-day window, and they were able to fix it for free, which I appreciated. However, even after the correction, the lashes still didn't last very long and continued falling out much sooner than expected. I followed the aftercare instructions carefully, so it was disappointing to see the set lose fullness so quickly. The initial application looked nice, and I'm glad they honored their 3-day policy, but overall the retention just wasn't there. Location is clean, cute and simple. Has plenty of outdoor parking. A new full set takes about 90 minutes. Table beds are not so comfortable but I still fall asleep while they apply my lashes cause all their technicians have a lite touch. I honestly don't have a favorite technician and I just book with whomever is available. My lashes always come out nicely and they do last. Tip: know what you want in advance as far as length, curl, shape and style because the technicians don't do to well at advising what would look best on you what's achievable based on your current lash length and or recommendations for style and length. They will just go over what options they provide. I've never had any issues with my lashes being applied and they always last a good 4-5 weeks. I do take care of them however. I brush them before bed, when I wake up in the morning after washing my face, anytime they get wet like after swimming or a shower etc., I don't lay on them, I don't touch or pick at them, and I don't apply mascara or makeup remover to them. If a lash is bothering me I use a lash wand that I keep in my purse, to brush a tangled lash...never my hand. My eyeliner is not waterproof, so my gentle face wash (oil free) works great for removing eye makeup. I gently massage the cleanser on my eyelid above the lash line. I do not touch the lash line. Then rinse to let cleanser run through lashes. I've been to other places where my lashes constantly are shifting and getting tangled which is super annoying, and or that several fall out the first day, 2nd and 3rd, where I'd have to go back to get them fixed. But not at Mini Beauty. They usually book up in advance fast. So don't count on being able to walk in. There prices are fair/average for full set/fills for non mink lashes. I'm always on the fence when I see a place have stellar 5-star reviews mixed in with a few 1 or 2-stars because there's always a chance I may end up experiencing the latter. The bad reviews here all seem to reference lashes falling out immediately, and while I'm only on Day 3, I'm happy to report that my lashes are still full and in tact as ever. My lash tech was Alyssa, and she did an AMAZING job. I was very particular about what I wanted, showed her reference photos, and she delivered! I got the hybrid wispy style ($84 new client special + $15 for wispy add-on). She said it would take an hour and a half but I was done in an hour, so that was an extra perk. I also want to share that despite the great results, my right eye burned a lot to where it was even swollen the next morning. When I reached out to the Pasadena location (closer to me), they expressed concern and were willing to remove them for free and refund my service from the previous day. The customer service is EXCELLENT on this premise alone, but I didn't want to remove them because they looked so pretty! So I set a tentative appointment for late in the day just to keep monitoring it and ended up cancelling because the swelling/redness went away. It must have been a quick allergic reaction that I got over, but their willingness to help and concern for my health was extremely appreciated. Will definitely be going back! read more

I just want to start by saying my rating is for the technician more so than the establishment. I got my lashes done by Alisa where I had told her full, cat eye. Originally I was to get 6D Volume, but we settled for Hybrid Volume bc I have "little lashes" which should have been my 1st sign I wasn't going to get what I asked for. They came out so bare, it looked like I had come in for a fill instead of it looking like I was leaving with a full set. I have big/long eyes and the ends were so empty I had to ask her to put more, overall they were not volume nor full. Anytime I brought it up she seemed to not understand and seemed annoyed. Finally I said fine I'll leave it, but I'm not paying for a volume set. I tried to explain to her at the front that they were not full nor volume so why was she still charging me $115. It was a pointless argument, like talking to a wall, so to avoid myself getting angry I paid $115 for a set that was NOT volume/full. I left so unhappy with my eyelashes and then the worst part over the weekend they fell! I came to get them fixed within their 3 day policy where Emma helped me and did what Alisa couldn't do in a "fix" service. Why was she able to get them full? I got a hybrid. the lady who did mine made the glue clumpy which made them fall out just from brushing them. she also did one eye at a time and it wasn't even at all. the inside was nice and i liked the music. but i am never going back not worth the money and the lady was ruff with my face when trying to move it to start the next eye. Worst lash removal experience! My first time here. Half hour ago. Krystal is who did the removal. I walk in and she's laying on the bed. Not a good first impression. She doesn't communicate other than relax and close your eyes. She proceeds with the removal. The entire 15 minutes was torture as it felt like she was pulling my real lashes out. I kept saying "ow" she didn't apologize or try to be more careful. I must have said ow 10+ times. I've had lash removal two other times elsewhere and it's never been this painful. I will never go back here. I thought she was going to leave me with no lashes. Smh read more
