It's very expensive for a pedicure. I paid 55 for the pedicure and I don't even feel like I got the full pastel treatment with the perfumed salt. I don't even remember picking a flavor. I did not get to soak in hot water, it was just so rushed. I needed the callus treatment, and even that felt rushed. I still have rough edges and dead skin. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I booked a gel manicure and gel pedicure through ClassPass; I showed up right on time for my appointment (5PM), and I wasn't shown a chair until around 5:20PM.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There were only two other girls in the salon, and four people working on them. The person who did my pedicure was quick and efficient and did a great job. It's been a little over two weeks, and my pedicure still looks clean and posh. My manicure was uneven, and I don't know if the gel polish that I chose was just old or was not correctly labeled, but I decided to not complain because my nails were done and they looked "fine". Not even a week later (five days after my manicure), the polish from one of my nails chipped off. I've been getting gel manicures for a long time, and I've never experienced this within a week of getting a gel manicure. I get really bad in growns since I'm always in shoes to the gym and heels to work. I only wear sandals at home or to run errands. So, I yelped nail places around my boyfriends house and found Pastel Nail Lounge. Like I said I was in desperate need and I decided to go. I called around 1:30pm on Saturday March 7th and asked how long the wait time would be for a gel pedicure. The lady who answered my call, Ivy, said it would be a 30 min wait. Then I asked if I could schedule an appointment and she said she had an opening at 2, so I took it. I got to the salon by 1:50 and I was a little lost because I didn't know where the location was exactly in the plaza (it was next to the juice spot). It was $34 for a gel pedicure and it came with a free sugar scrub. It was honestly the best pedicure I've received. Ivy, the owner did my pedicure and she treated me like such a queen. And I felt like such a queen especially in those chairs! It does seem to get very busy here so I would definitely book an appointment, always! I used to go here with my wife and daughter awhile back. But when I went the other day I was very disappointed to the point that it bothered me today. The service I received was awful and I've been to alot of nail salon in the area. I walked without an appointment was the only thing I can thank them for. But I probably could have done that at any of the other salons since I'm a male and they know we could be taken care relatively fast. But when I was called to my station the women never greeted me always looking down. I told her I wanted a basic "mani and pedi" instead of inspecting my nails to see what needs to be done She starts filling my nails I told her I wanted then cut short including my toes witch had an ingrown nail. So then she gets the nail clippers and clips every nail just once. I was at awl could not believe that she did that a d continue to file my hand nails. I thought she was going back to them, nope straight to my toes feet in the water and not even a drop of sea salt or whatever they put in the water to make me feel like a little special. But back to filing a d I explained I had an ingrown toe nail not a peep. So I ask a gentleman that works there hey what's up doesn't she understand what I'm saying. Turns out she doesn't know how to extract ingrown nails someone else had to it. But to top it off she telling me I ware tight shoes I told her I wear construction boots that are a half size bigger and wide. I'm on my feet all day every day 9hrs plus that piss me off. I didn't say anything I even tip the lady I should had tip the lady that actually cut out my ingrown nail instead. But I paid 40 dollars for something I could have gotten better work across the street at JoJo's and there place is way nicer and they do better work and not send me to the new kid like this place. Worst experience I had will not go back have my wife or my daughter they don't deserve a hard man's working money. I won't recommend them at all until they start treating men like they treat the women no respect to any ladies out there.. read more

Been a customer for 2, probably almost 3 years and it's sad to say I'm absolutely done with this damn place. First off, I stopped going to Shirley because she's just gotten worse in customer service. She's constantly getting up in the middle of a set. She's always on the phone. She will get up in the middle of your set TO START ON SOMEONE ELSE. Always over booking... She booked me on a Sunday and didn't show up because apparently she doesn't work Sundays. She had gotten up, NOT SAYING WHERE SHE WAS GOING, ran next door to the smoothie place and ordered herself a drink cause she was "thirsty". Hun, you guys have water!! You couldn't have waited till my set was done?! Second, I can make an appointment with whoever and I'll sit and wait for an hour - two hours max. My gel is constantly peeling and my nails are always lifting. I always make an appointment, I'm never a walk in. I made an appointment with Mai because I finally found someone who will stick to me and only me. I went in for my appointment and they said she was out sick but "didn't call you because we didn't have your phone number." Bull. I go in one day to get my eyebrows done and again, Mai's not there. But they didn't tell me why. Turns out she quit and they just didn't wanna tell her clients. You really hate to see a shop go down hill. This nail salon is located in a shopping complex so there is ample parking. The inside of the salon is cute and appears clean. However I could not breathe in the salon at all due to the overwhelming chemical smell. It was so bad it gave me a headache. One positive about this place is that there are tons of choices of color. A big negative is that The manicures (even the gel) does not last long. The girl who did my nails was pleasant and I thought did a good job until the very end of my gel manicure when she started to file my nails. My gel manicure started chipping at the top after only 2 days, likely from the filing after the gel was set. If I wanted chipped nails after only 2 days I wouldn't have spent money for the gel. Overall I don't recommend this place- there are a lot of other better places in the Glendora area Update: went back and they fixed the nails that were messed up. They said that they should have told me that the style I wanted would chip at the top. Oh well. read more

I found my new nail spot! just moved to Azusa this past month and was having a hard time looking for a nail salon comparable to where I used to go in Ktown. All of the staff was friendly and they offer you drinks while you get your service done. Lily did my nails and she was amazing. She was fast (which I really appreciate) but it did not feel rushed. She was very thorough and paid attention to the smallest details. She made the polish by the cuticle super even and smooth so it'll still look good when it grows out. Definitely coming back here! UPDATE like a year later This place is still my go to nail spot. It's so affordable and the place is so clean. They have a great selection of colors and samples of designs on display.
