Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Every time I pointed something out, I was blamed for the problem rather than the poor craftsmanship provided by JBC. Too date, I have a shower that does not look professionally done and which still leaks. I have an electrical plug that I asked to me moved but is still in the same place. I have face plates not installed. The door leading into my bathroom sticks on the tile floor. The best part of the remodel was the paint job that I hired another company to perform. My house had several damaged fascia panels thanks to the weather over the years. There was flashing drip edge dangling off the roof over the porch area along with a fascia panel that popped off and hanging over the driveway by a coaxial cable. Lastly, I had a leak in the roof that dripped onto my kitchen counter! Uriel was able to assess the situation and offer me a quote for a reasonable amount to which I agreed. Uriel addressed my concern regarding the coaxial cable and brought on Renee who was a big help working to complete the work in one day. Uriel went so far as to go on the roof to assess the condition and made a few patches with tar here and there as well as reattach the roof turbine that had been knocked off during the latest storm! Overall, I am very pleased with the work Uriel (and Renee) did to fix my home within my budget and so far there are no leaks and the painted fascia panels look nice and refreshed. They were courteous and responsive at first until I met up with the guy to give him the architectural blueprints so that he could provide a quote. He said he would provide me with a quote and give me back the blueprints in a few days, but the guy ended up taking my plans and then ghosted me. I kept contacting them to see if i could get my plans back, but never got a response. I wouldn't be as pissed but the architectural plans were large copies that cost me over $30 to make.
