While they were at it, we also had them address some existing humidity damage and install a new exhaust fan. The results genuinely exceeded our expectations. They came in to fix someone else's work and the tile actually looks better now than it ever did before. Beyond the quality of the work itself, the communication was outstanding. They kept us informed at every stage so we always knew what was happening and what to expect next. We built a brand new house and decided not to get it painted, so we could get a custom paint job…read morelater. My husband asked me to get 3 bids and of course he hired the first guy that came to our door. I wasn't too happy with that, so I made my husband sign the contract. Ivan promised 3 guys at a flat rate a day and estimated about 5-6 days starting on 11/13, the day after Veterans Day. The work started and we wanted them to start and finish the kitchen and our master bedroom and bath. The master bath and kitchen both had a red color that he noted would take a couple of coats in order for it to look right. The 2nd day started and it was one guy and my living room and master bedroom/bath were still not done. I called Ivan to see what was going on and why was there only one guy and I was now going on day 3 of having little access to my kitchen and master bedroom/bath. Note: We have a 3 year old with Autism who has ABA therapy at our house during this time and needed at least some rooms to be available. We also did not pack any items, so I was not prepared to be out of these rooms for this long. He said that he got got caught on a job that is taking longer than planned and that we would only be charged for a 1/2 day. Unfortunately, our contract only stated 2 guys. He said that he was going to be the 3rd guy as a runner. After about 5 days, I still had little access to my kitchen/bath. There were 2 guys, but one guy was in and out because he had to leave to get paint and materials. In addition, the red was not matched correctly. Ivan had to come back and finish the red because I told him that I wasn't going to pay for the time or materials for his guys to re-do it. They were going on 9 days and I had to talk to Ivan again. He blamed his workers and threatened to fire them. I told him the problem was with him and his lack of communication and presence. He was never here, he never brought the guys the paint or materials they needed to finish in a timely manner. HE WAS THE PROBLEM, NOT HIS CREW!!! I told him that they needed to done and out of my house by the 21st, before Thanksgiving Day. I was out of town on the 21st, so I left it up to my husband to finalize things. When I came back, my husband paid them in full..including materials such as paper for the floors, which we thought was included. After I went through the house there was paint on the floors, the carpet, all over the electrical face plates, the ceiling, my curtains, some of the lines on the walls were crooked, the texture jobs were half ass, areas not painted, and there were missing or cracked electrical covers. My husband said, that they would come back to touch up. It took Ivan a couple days to return my call, but he said that he lost his phone at a job site. They came back twice and still have not finished because each time they came, they didn' thave the right brushes and they were in a rush to leave. So, now that they need to return for a 3rd time, Ivan has completely ignored my calls/texts. I am truly not suprised! My husband just said that he will touch up what they didn't. I know that some of the touch up items are minor and some things I can live with, but some I can't. We paid someone to have it professionally done and my husband shouldn't have to take time out of his day to fix someone else's job. I am very disappointed and very upset about all of this, especially having to deal with this during the holidays. I really hate to have to right this bad review, but this is what Yelp is about and I would not want any of you to deal with something like this.

Good detailed work - unlike other paint jobs I've experienced, I've discovered no missed spots or areas where things weren't taped properly. The windows have aluminum frames from the 1950s (with the cranks) and they were looking very tired, to the point where I was pricing new windows. Ivan's crew used the spray gun expertly and they look completely updated. A big plus is his crew are really nice guys and interacting and having them around the house was great.
