My daughter lives out of state, and the Brickhouse Bridal team went above and beyond to help us every step of the way--from ordering the gown to carefully boxing it so I could ship it to her once it arrived. So here's the story- Milenas Bridal followed me on Instagram YEARS before I even got engaged. They liked my posts even when only 5 other people did. But hell.. their marketing worked, because the one and only wedding dress shop I went to was Milenas. I brought an entourage of characters from the sassy best friend to the grumpy grandma and our stylist handled it with ease. I tried on dresses that everyone picked, probably around 10 dresses. Our stylist was SO patient with a surround sound of input from my guests. Finally we found the gown. It was originally too full for my liking, but they gladly offered alterations which means they took 2-3 layers of the skirt out of the original design. It was white overlay with a grey underlay that fit well with my age and that it was my second wedding. It was gorgeous. It stunned my entire entourage. Even grumpy granny was beyond pleased. It took 6 months to make because it was handmade in Italy but worth every moment waiting for it. When I walked down the aisle my husband gasped and our parents cried. It was my moment and I lived it to the fullest. This style is discontinued but I highly recommend them for any boho unconventional wedding gown. They had everything to fit any ethereal dream. Arlean was my consultant, and she was so sweet and knowledgeable! She guided me to find which styles I liked for my bridesmaids. We talked about which dresses would coordinate with my dress (I showed her a picture of me in it), which dresses would work for the various body types of my bridesmaids (I went without them), and which dresses would work in the color I wanted. Arlean was so helpful and pleasant as I tried on the dresses and as my mom tried on dresses to get mother-of-the-bride ideas. Definitely recommend! Tip: Plan to spend some extra time in Old Town Spring if you're going on the weekend, so go early to get a parking spot! Also, keep in mind Amore is not going to have everything on display that it's able to order for you, but it's incredibly helpful to get ideas.

I instantly liked her & the bride she was helping raved about her work, so to me there was no point in looking any further! I'm a BIG fan of bling, but I didn't want to be trashy & I wanted to incorporate my favorite colors purple & sliver, well Michelle did just that. She totally understood my vision even before I did, my dress was already beautiful, but when she added all her special touches my dress was BEYOND PERFECT!!! She adjusted the pleats on the top part of my gown to fit my bust better, she did my bustle & added bead work. Everyone thought the dress was beautiful & it was totally me. My Mom loved the perfect touches she added. She texted me through-out the process to let me know how the dress progress was going, she texted me pictures of all the bead work she was going to add. She was super flexible with times for fittings, I was still in school with a full time job & planning; so things got hectic from time to time. I even forgot one of my fittings because I was studying for an exam & she was more than understanding. Yes, the fittings were at her house & yes her husband was there from time to time, but I NEVER felt uncomfortable, she was always professional & truly cared about what I thought & how I felt.
