AVOID this nightmare of a place, this "salon" infected both of my eyes. I had to go to the ophthalmologist the day after I had my lashes done here because I woke up with pink eye in both of my eyes. Completely blood shot and painful. I reached out to them the day after to ask if my eyes being so red and burning was normal and the girl told me it's totally fine and my eyes are just sensitive to the tape- this salon should really stop giving medical advice and start cleaning their equipment and facility. Clearly their equipment or the hands touching my eyes was infected- be careful the bacteria that causes pink eye is very contagious! Also they used very harsh tape to hold my lower lashes down and the entire two and half hour process was painful- I told the lady putting my lashes on that it was burning and I could feel the tape going into my eye but she just didn't care. read more

Audrey saved my life yesterday!!!!! I've been going to Luxy Lash for a few years and am obsessed with the team there and my gorgeous extensions. I really can't imagine life without them - and by them I mean the staff and my gorgeous lashes. However, this weekend I did a no-no.....I started picking my left eye extensions and could not stop!! I was stressed and took my anxiety out on my left eyelashes until I had none left! If you could only see the visual....the videos of right eye to left eye are hysterical AND mind you I had to go to work Monday and Tuesday with lashes on the right and bald on the left!!!! No bueno!! Tried out the facelift facial massage with Julie for the first time and absolutely loved it! I had to book my next appointment before I left. The facial was definitely a 2-in-1 experience. Not only did the facial detox, deep cleanse, and exfoliate my skin, I was getting an actual facial massage as well. First Julie started off with massaging my upper back, shoulders and neck which felt amazing (she couldn't have massaged me at a better time since I had a kick-ass workout a few hours before). Second she cleansed my upper chest area while moving back and forth from massaging the shoulders. Third she started the facial/facial massage experience which did include some pressure point movements that were interesting. Lastly moved back down to massage my neck back and shoulders while my leaving cold pads on my face to close/minimize my pores. Julie explained and walked through the entire process during the facial massage which was great but I may end up falling asleep next time :). Everyone should try this at least once! read more

Wow, I must admit I have never been to a cleaner, more inviting facility than this one. I previously went to amazing lash and thought they did a good job; however, this place blew them out of the water. All of the staff is professional while being personable, leaving me feeling comfortable. (Which btw is super important when first timers come in!) Now onto the application and lashes themselves. The application for a full set takes about 2 hours and they have a variety of different options for you to choose from. A bit overwhelming at first but they make suggestions to make it easy for you. The lashes are to DIE for. Holy cow I looked in the mirror after and I thought "man I look HOT" lol The lashes are high quality and feather light, unlike other places. It may be a little bit pricey BUT you're getting every penny's worth from this place. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else for my lashes. Before getting lash extensions I did a lot of research of reputable places in Houston to get my extensions done. This place has different lash options, lengths, curls, and lash styles(other places I've been to don't really give you an option - they just start filling your lashes without asking if you want a cat eye look or natural). My lashes look amazing & they last more than 4wks too. Kim is my tech and has been for over a year. I'm so glad I found her. I always leave with my lashes looking great. I don't think I could trust anyone else to do my lashes than her. My friend as well goes here and she loves it! The prices are definitely higher than other places, but the service and quality show. I've been to a few other places in Houston to get my lashes filled, but nothing compares to when i get my lashes done here at Luxy. read more

This place is perfection. Period. Ann is amazing. Her gentle yet confident touch leaves my lashes looking perfect each time, never pointing in weird directions. I've been coming here for months...even though it's out of the way for me. I am THAT impressed. Ann knows how to guide which styles/shapes would look best with your eye shape, and I trust that any of the technicians would, too, since she trains them all. There are plenty of different lashes from which to choose at different price points. The establishment itself is pristine with a nice bathroom and a separate wash station for you to wish your makeup off or remove your contacts....complete with cases and contact solution for you and nice fluffy towels and facial cleanser. So to start off...I'm a guy who has never had facials or anything like that done before. After some convincing, I tried it out at Luxy because it was close by and had good reviews. Yelp rarely lets me down. The environment was very welcoming ..very clean as one would expect. They made me feel comfortable and the whole process was relaxing. (fell asleep the first time) This was something I needed since I work outdoors sometimes. If you live in Houston then you know Houston "air" plus some sun can do damage to your skin and pores. I LOVE my lashes! I highly recommend Luxy Lashes for a set of gorgeous extensions. I was hesitant to try extensions at first because I prefer the more natural look and I never wear falsies but these are a dream. They're not overwhelming or uncomfortable, they still look natural, and I get compliments ALL the time. They're also surprisingly low maintenance, I'm able to wear the same eye makeup and wash my face and eyes as usual. The space itself is very luxurious while the private rooms are comfortable and inviting. I actually fell asleep while my lashes were being applied! All the staff and technicians are super friendly and Anne was so helpful and patient with me in explaining the entire lash process and consulting with me to pick out the best curl and style for my eyes. I made an appointment with Ann and started over with a full set of lashes. I have now had two refills and I am thrilled with the outcome. OMG I am in love!!!! So being new to eyelash extensions I went to another location for my first set...name I will not mention...and not only were they WAY over priced....I paid over $300 for my full set...but they didn't give me the desire look that I was going for and didn't inform me on how to take care of my lashes afterwards and they taped my eyelids shut so no matter what I could not move them. Then, thankfully, one of my clients told me that her cousin did eyelash extensions and promised me that I would not be disappointed if I gave her a try. She told me that she just opened her own salon and I should try her at least once and even gave me a gift card. So being skeptical I went ahead and tried her out and THANK GOD that I did!!! The look I wanted was extremely full, thick, no gaps, and not too long to where when I open my eyes my eyelashes won't hit my eyebrows. I'm extremely picky and can be hard to please sometimes but I never have to worry about anything when Ann does my lashes. Ann went above and beyond to get the look I was going for. Not only is Ann SUPER sweet but extremely flexible with my appointments. Sometimes, due to work, I have to reschedule on the same day and she's completely understanding and always able to work with me. Her prices are extremely reasonable and especially for the amount of time she spends on them its sooooo worth it!!! I went one week without my eyelashes and it was honestly the worst week of my life. I can't imagine my eyes without them. I CONSTANTLY get compliments and hand out her business card every chance I get!!! I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place!!!! I will be a client for life!!! The lash refill I had was professional and relaxing but I noticed the day after, the inside third of one eye is more full/longer than the other. Not a huge deal, you really have to stare to notice. I am more giving this a 3-star for a price misrepresentation and customer service indifference. At a different salon, I had a full set of lashes 3 weeks prior and I could not get a last minute appt for a refill, plus that place was a little out of the way so I thought I'd try Luxy lashes because they were close by. When I called, I said I am a new client and I need a 3-week refill appt, they had openings the next day. On their website pricelist (very detailed), a 3-week refill is $95 for a 60 minute appt.  My service was completed in an hour, I went to check out and the girl said that will be $130! I asked what that was for and she said a 5-week refill and I said 'oh no, I had a 3-week refill' and she said we book all *new client* refills at the 5-week price of $130. The manager/owner was sitting there as well and she explained '...we don't really know if someone's honest about 3 weeks &/or they may have had a poor lash job somewhere else and we may have to spend more time correcting it'. I said that's not stated on the website, and that should be communicated when I make the appt. They said they will instruct the person that made the appt and will update the website to be more clear, but they actually still expected me to pay the $130. I don't feel like I should have to pay for services I didn't incur, the 3-week is a 60 minute appt per the website and that is the time the technician spent on me. The 5-week is 75 min, if the tech spent the full time, maybe my lashes would be more even. I wasn't in the mood for a prolonged back and forth, so I said 'fine I'll pay it, but this irks me so I don't think I'll be coming back', and the owner merely said  'okay'. It's a shame that they weren't willing to give me the stated price, for the service I actually received and that it wasn't worth waiving the excess $35 to keep a new client, particularly for a recurring service like lash extensions. Also there was a 20% disc stated on the website for new clients and when I asked for that, the girl said that's only for 'full sets', but thankfully, the owner corrected her and I did get the 20% - another potential price issue. Perhaps more staff training on pricing and communication would be helpful. It's disappointing, I had hoped this to be my new place for lashes, as well as facials. I love......this place! I am super picky about everything. And I've tried many lash places everywhere. If you want Perfect Lashes that are full, thick, and perfect, you really need to come here. My real lashes are super short and fine. Honestly I could never imagine a place that can make them so full. They really do the most awesome job here and really take their time with their clients. I don't like anybody taping my face up and being rough on my eyes, but you will not get that here. My lashes are so light weight I don't even know they are there. And they last forever! They never go wonky and move crazy out of place. And they are very consistent with every refill. Every time I leave, I look perfect. Ann & Kim are the best! I have been wanting to get lashes for a while as it has been over a year since I had them done but I did not want to shell out $300 which the leading eyelash full set typically costs in Houston. Upon finding Luxy Lash I found they have all their services and prices listed on the website so I knew exactly what I could get and exactly how much it would cost. I was a little nervous because I have used a certain luxury brand of lashes before who's name I won't mention and I was afraid to try another brand but I was very pleased with the results. Tristan did an amazing job. The salon is clean, beautiful and relaxing. A basic full set (it looks better than basic) using the synthetic mink cost me $129 and they offer 20% discount for new clients.
