I came in an hour before they close - old guy named David claimed he could do my nails. I should have notice all the red flags - they didn't have any colors I like and the guy was trying to rich me to pick a color. Then the machine he uses stalls and he has a hard time replacing the cord and squinting every minute. Then he rushes to do my nails and don't even show them correctly. And had the nerve to tell me that he normally charges $5 to shape. He proceeds over file my nail cutting into my skin and charged me $45 for a horrible fill- in. Just look at the pictures . IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. DO NOT GO HERE. I decided to try Mandarin Nails for the first time yesterday. TIMMY did my nails and he is insanely rough. Three of my fingers were bleeding before I left. My nails looked like crap and I was very upset, but of course, I didn't say anything. Well last night both of my thumbs gel top coat started peeling. So I went in this morning and the people were so rude and wouldn't talk to me. Then TIMMY came to fix his mistake and he TORE MY SKIN UP. I'll post pictures. I sobbed once I got to my car. Even if I'm in the mood to change the place I get my nails done every now and then (no shame sometimes you have to see your options)..I always come back to this place. The same lady has been doing my pedicures since I've been going here early 2021..with great conversation including every time I go in there, the lady who does my pedicures always remembers me and comes to see me. Please, if you come here and get a pedi get the reflexology. Your feet need it! It's honestly one of the best feelings ever. (Key words: they don't rush you out of the chair!) Aside from a relaxing pedi, I came in a little later in the evening around 6:10 and called at 5:45 to make a last minute appointment- they stayed WELL past their closing time to accommodate me. There is no customer service here. I had permanent makeup done--I told the lady the line was uneven and asked if it could be fixed. She kept arguing with me and said I didn't do tattooing so I couldn't possibly know. I explained it's my body, I can tell if my lips don't look even--and so can others I've asked. She said she would fix it for me after the rest of the lips heal but she will charge an 80 dollar touch-up fee. (Mind you there was no mention of this prior to selling me the service.). I asked: Why will I be charged when the original service wasn't done to reasonable expectations? She then made it seem like she was doing me a favor by having charged me less for the service--stating it was usually a 100 dollars more. However the sign up front lists the cost as the exact cost I paid for! Very disappointing. Not a place you can discuss concerns. Buyer beware. This place is a money grab with very little standards. They will flip terms and pricing when it suits them. Go somewhere with integrity and where your business is appreciated/they don't try to manipulate customers who make a reasonable complaint/request. read more

This place is a RIP OFF My grandmother and I went in for mani pedis and were there for 3.5 hours! They started us off with our pedicures and left my grandmother sitting in cold water for 45 minutes. Then, the woman taking care of my grandma CUT HER FEET when filing her them because the woman was chatting to her friend. Next, when I got to sit down, I asked for an acrylic set and she did powder without my consent and when I questioned her about it she assured me that it was just to help me. In the end, when I went to pay I was charged $67, $22 for the pedicure and $45 for the nails. The lady didn't tell me that she would add an extra $20 to the listed price for my nails and had the audacity to get angry when I asked why it costed so much. Tried to take my mom here for a pedicure on a Sunday after her regular place couldn't take her due to an emergency. I appreciate that they were willing to do my mom's pedicure but once we got there, they were short on patience and borderline rude. My mom uses a wheelchair and needs a walker to help her get into the pedicure chairs and they just made us feel unwelcomed and as if we were disrupting them. I understand that not all places can accommodate for handicap people, and if they would have said that from the start, I would have understood. Instead they didn't allow us to go to the chair that had the most room so that maybe I could get my mom in the pedicure chair, and they said they would change change her nail polish. Terrible communication and sub-par work here. Idk who the owner is but no one there is telling customers what to expect! I arrived at 5:40pm and asked if I would be able to get in tonight - knowing they close at 8pm. I was told yes - pick a color. I waited for one hour before my 25 minute pedicure and left at 8:45pm! When I spoke to who I think is the manager, at checkout, she says sometime I busy. so when I ask if can I get in tonight it would be great if you would say well you can but it'll be a long wait you said nothing I don't appreciate spending three hours here. This is my third time at Mandarin nails. They always do a great job (I included pictures of my nails each time) so I decided to bring my younger sister here today on her birthday but they did a sloppy job which was very unexpected. She got red and black nails with LV stickers. There was gel polish on the sides of her nails that were not cleaned up, the shape and length of many of her nails were not identical... and the polish was very thick. Pros: When I arrived, I was seen right away. There was only one other person in the salon. The girl who did my nails was really nice and took her time. I felt like she was really trying to make me happy with the nails. They also offer 10% off if you leave a review so that is probably the reason for their good reviews. Cons: For starters, there was some weird guy sitting at the front of the store the whole time. He made me really uncomfortable and was playing video games on his phone really loud the whole time. I got a full set of acrylic nails and hate them. They are by far the thickest nails i've ever had on, and are lumpy and uneven. Additionally, the nail already looks like it has new growth because she did not apply the acrylic close to my skin. I paid 40$ +8$ tip. Will not be going back and do not recommend. read more

My wife recently went to this nail salon after new owners took over and remodeled. She had such a great experience she wanted me to try it for a "mans" pedicure. I had never done this. Our son loves pedicures and has told me to try it. Well, I did and now I understand why my son loves the pedicures. I had one of their new reflexology pedicures. OMG!!!!! Start with warm water jets massaging your feet. Next up, nails trimmed and every toe done good. Then some type of orange salt scrub. After this I can't remember everything, because it was so relaxing. I know they did some lavender lotion and a really nice massage, but then they brought out this wooden tool to use for the reflexology part. The Technician used this on different parts of the bottom of my feet like you would do pressure point massage. Can you say "hurt so good?" It really helped my feet. Finally, they massaged some more and then used some type of warm wax and hot towels on my legs. All I can say is, if you have the time and want to be fully relaxed, this is something you need to do. I found out that it is under new management with 4 sisters who decided to buy the old company out and redecorate, refurbish and give it a whole new feel. It is very clean, organized and quite friendly. My pedi was heavenly, manicure perfect and I was even offered a drink and a shoulder massage. Now that, along with the very reasonable prices was a few hours well spent. I am back again for my third visit and I am having a delightful time. I went here to get my lashes done, took a few hours. The lady who was doing my lashes seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. (She went over to watch how other nail tech before doing mine.) Once she was done, they were decent. I was getting a little irritated with them, it was my first time with lash extensions. The next day, my eyelids were getting itchy. Kind of like it burned. As the day go on, I'm at school so I can't really do anything. I try putting ice on my eye but it hurts when I slightly moved the lashes. The ice was the best quick relief. My eyes were getting swollen around my lash line, I was getting like a rash. As soon as I got home, I used eyelash adhesive remover which kind of helped remove the lashes. It took hours to try and remove and I could only remove only one eye the other one hurt too much. I took off school the next day to go back up there and let them remove it which took them a minute. I asked for a refund which was DECLINED... and exchanged for a $30 gift card for their place (REMINDER! I paid $50) . I would like to say thank you to the ladies who did help remove my lashes. But I find it so unprofessional that your business let a someone who is obviously untrained to do lashes. There were no isolation and the lashes were WAY to close to my lash-line which caused the tugging of my lashes. A refund would of been better due to the fact of why would I like a gift-card of the place who made my eyes have huge reaction? Personally I wouldn't recommend this place for lashes, if you do come then make sure you have the right person. read more

This may be the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon I hate to complain about any place but unfortunately there's no getting around. I was the only customer. The lady who started my nails didn't know what she was doing. I waited and another girl took over. She was painfully slow (1.5hr and still wasn't done) had another girl help. I had two nails that were completely crooked (way left) and got cut twice- once with blood. The gel was so thick they looked terrible. I finally told them I just wanted to go. Had to stop them and leave because it took so long and it just wasn't getting better. Also they kept pressuring me to spend more money. Over and over no matter how many times I said no. Wow, so I bought a Yelp deal for $38 for $50 worth of services back in February. When I go to pay they tell me to call my bank and get a refund because they won't accept the Yelp deal. It doesn't expire until 12/2/2018. I give them my name, number and email address letting them know I will come in to pay when THEY call Yelp and get this figured out. They agree to let me pay the remainder of the balance plus tip but instead of swiping my card they try to take a picture of my credit card. They are straight up crooks. A few days later she lined my eyes' upper and lower lids, again with precision and color designed to my facial features.
