I don't like to give bad reviews but now it's time, I hope this is gonna be helpful. I'm shocked, I just had appointment in the Nail World. They kept me waiting,to be told me they cant do my nails. I wanted simple french manicure with dip powder only top on my natural nails, without any tip or plastic extensions. They tried to push to do gel.4 or 5 ladies seated there, no costumers but no one can do that. I was nail artist 15years I showed her how I did before, but need me more time and I traveling, that's why I like to try. I saw have new management.The lady answered if you know how you can do, do yourself.I never had the same situation Good luck for everyone. read more

My daughter and I have been going to this nail salon for about 15 years, we walked in on Saturday they asked what we wanted we told them and we thought everything was OK, until other people walked in after us and start getting the same service we asked for. I love this place because of how close it is to my house. Obviously there are cheaper nail places around, but this is the only one that guarantees quality and care for customers. I polish and wax there, and the services are always A+. There could be a rush at times, but even with the fast-paced work, you leave with what you want. I highly recommend that you make your appointments with Polly (forgive my spelling). She's amazing, does the best French g nails, and she's also my go-to for eyebrow waxing. Polly is rude! I made an appt today for 6pm for a pedicure with Mai and 630 for nails with Polly. I'm being serviced by Mai meanwhile a walk in customer cones and Polly began to work on this customer now I'm done with my pedicure and Polly is still working on walk-in customer now I'm told by Polly to come back tomorrow The purpose of making an appt is to secure your services will be started in a timely manner. It's Mothers Day weekend so of course you want to make an appt. I've been to Nail World a few times and I've had a couple of issues but nevertheless continue to go there because it's very close to where I live. I can assure you I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN I have friends and family members who also have been to this salon after what I experience today they will not return. There are entirely too many nail salons in Jacksonville to put up one salon that is less than unprofessional and discriminates!!! read more

This place sucks. Got a spa pedicure and manicure for $30, so the price was right. But my friend and I were hustled through the whole process and the nails were just plaint sloppy for us both. I felt manhandled by my manicurist, who left three nails jagged, and the polish chipped on three toes the very next day. The place looks worn down - the massage chairs are well beyond their years, there is zero decor and the lotions are clearly from the dollar store. They are cutting corners, which always makes me nervous about sanitation. To top it off, they had football playing on the tv. WTF? I will not be going back and I would advise if you're looking for a place in the neighborhood, you keep looking. read more

POOR FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE!!! I received a gift certificate for this salon as an early Christmas present. I called on Christmas Eve to schedule an appointment. I was told to come at 2p. I got there at 2 and was told they were busy and to come back. I told them I was told to come at 2 but ok. I called today, New Years Eve to see when would be a good time to come, I was told 4pm. I got there at 4 and waited. At 4:30p the nail technician approaches me and says can you wait 15 minutes (after already waiting 30 minutes) not everyone knows how to do full sets. I would give this nail salon a 10 out of 10!!!! I went for a full set , pedicure and eyebrow wax! Loved everything ! The pedicure was amazing !!! I paid $62.00 every penny was worth it ! I had van as my nail tech and for my pedi ! He was amazing great service every nice staff great service the bathroom was very nice and clean also ! The pedicure was amazing best pedi I've ever had !! Definitely will be a returning customer. Would recommend at everyone!! UpDATE: terrible fullset it has been3 days since I got my fullset n pedi !! Two nails have broke !! I come here all the time but the last two times I've come here, the older lady with the glasses has been really nasty. Today I brought my mom to get a pedicure and the one lady said it would be a long wait because they only had 2 people. So I asked her how long did she think because we could come back. They tore up my 14 year old daughters nails because they ripped them off instead of soaking them. Then when I explained I specifically asked for them to be soaked the man yelled at me and said it was from the filing that was done to apply the original nail??? Come on. 2 stars for customer service. They do a great job on nails but horrible at keeping appointments. On several occassions they haven't honored my appointment because they were too busy, yet they let walk ins come right in. Or they have honored my appointment but I'm left waiting for 30-45 mins. They need better time managenent. read more
