I have gone here for at least two years. And every time I go I have a great experience. The technicians are quick, but very efficient. They have a TV and sell some skin care, scrubs and products. I will say that a typical Russian manicure last me 4 to 5 weeks so although it is not the cheapest service, I think you get what you pay for. Oksana did my Russian manicure and I am beyond impressed at the level of perfection taken to achieve the most luxurious manicure I have ever gotten... My cuticles have never been so clean.. my gel color was so even that it made me realize how poorly my previous gel experiences have been. The salon is clean, airy and aesthetically pleasing. The pink velvet chairs, fun wall paper, plants and complimentary tea, coffee, wine or water create a pampered experience. The biggest factor for me when choosing a nail salon is nail care and Luxy has that covered with their Russian manicure technique. My nails have been thriving; they are strong, healthy and my manicures last. They offer a variety of nails services from gel manicures to poly gel extensions, nail repairs, nail art and medical pedicures/manicures targeted at treating varying nail problems. The salon has everything you need to create your desired nail look; a wide range of colors, glitter, stickers, stamps etc. Julia is my go to nail tech; her attention to detail and skill are excellent and she's always open to creating new designs or even just helping me pick a color that compliments me. I started going to Luxy Nails at the recommendation of a coworker. Their work is impeccable! I'm a nurse as well as a plant and animal mom and I trash my hands. My nails and cuticles have never looked so good! Their manicures are so clean and look so natural. The Russian gel manicure is the way to go! Acrylics ruined my nails for years and they never had the thin natural look that the manicures at Luxy gives me. The best part is they hold up and look amazing all the way up to my fill! Even taking care of patients I don't feel like my nails are going to break or rip off. They literally feel like my natural nails. Yana is my girl and I've been seeing her routinely every 3-4 weeks since I began. She is the sweetest person and whenever I go with her recommendations my nails look amazing!! The nails she did for my wedding and for the holiday season were so epic!!! I could not stop looking at them. The price tag and time (approx 2 hours) is 100% worth it. The service takes time, so you can't be in a rush, but the atmosphere and customer service are top-notch and the quality, longevity, and hygiene of the manicure are unmatched. I live in New York and I spent some time in Orlando during the last year and found this gem. I always sign up for the wait list once I book a flight because they are so good they are always booked in advance. Somehow I always manage to get lucky and get booked for a manicure. Because they are usually last minute I can't be picky about my nail tech but that doesn't matter here because all of the ladies are well trained and you will always leave satisfied. I have always loved my nails. My mother and I both got our nails done regularly at Luxy and have been going for the past two years. I drive over an hour from the Space Coast to do my nails and sometimes multiple days since the pedicures sometimes can't be accommodated on the same day. My mother has recently had issues with her nails breaking and I reached out on her behalf to get them fixed. Two weeks ago an appointment was scheduled with Dayna and what my mom didn't realize was that it was never accepted so she showed up on 1/29 for an appointment she thought she booked. Upon arrival she was told she didn't have an appointment and although upset she rescheduled for 2/5. My mother always gets the short nails let's create which means she gets a design. When she went on 2/5 she was received by Dayna who said she didn't have an appointment for a design and that she didn't have time to do one. What was supposed to be a relaxing self care day turned into my mom feeling like her request was an inconvenience and the attention to detail and quality wasn't there. After hearing about my mothers experience I again intervened by sending Zina (the owner) a message about how disappointed I was to hear of my moms experience and that we love to go there and we just expected more since we have had good customer service in the past. Because of this interaction I was told that my mother and I were no longer able to be clients of theirs due to "several misunderstandings and that it is very difficult to work under pressure". This is unfortunate as I was only trying to address this as a customer service issue. Basically, do better. Personally I have always loved my nails, recommended the business to many friends and strangers who have expressed that they love my nails. Whenever I have broken a nail, they have been accommodating. I was even booked for the next two months. It is sad to see a business not care about their long term clients, and of course much like anyone I would not like to see anyone treat their mother like they treated mine. I couldn't have imagined that voicing concerns would lead to it being "difficult to work under pressure". Beware don't complain unless you want to be banned from the business.
