I had a disappointing experience at Bliss yesterday and think it's important to share. I had an appointment for a mani pedi. After nails were done I was in the pedicure chair and 1/4 of the way through the process, the technician's next client came in 30 min early. So they interrupted my service and put another tech in to replace her. As if the next appointment took priority over mine. I ended up with one big toenail cut shorter than the other. It's also crooked! Then the 2nd tech kept looking over her shoulder at the next people coming through the door rather than focusing on what she doing. I guess one loyal customer is more important to them over another and once you're in the seat you may no longer matter. Oh well, it's no longer my problem just moving right along! I've had my nails done now a few different times. A few times with dip and tips added, and a regular polish. Personally getting my nails done is a luxury and something I will do as self-care. Because of this, I want to have consistency. I stick to one tech and assess the work being done with dip, gel or even regular polish. Although everyone is very friendly, I found myself feeling rushed out of the chair, even when I made an appointment. A couple of times when I did a soak off and wanted to just go with a regular polish for a week, the tech would almost guilt me into reconsidering. I am aware normal polish is never going to last as long as gel, dip, etc. but it's my choice. As long as you can overlook some of those items, the product at the end of the day is going to be decent. read more

On December 2, I had a pedicure and a dip French manicure by Tina. Including an eyebrow wax, the cost was $120. Within 2 weeks the tip of the dip manicure cracked on the middle finger of my right hand. I maintained it through December 24 when I went back to have it removed. I spent $42 to have the dip manicure removed and get a regular manicure. My nails are destroyed. This is what they look like 6.5 weeks after a dip removal. I have been using nail strengthener, cuticle oil, and hair, skin and nail vitamins. And no, they're not dirty. I scrubbed them clean to take this picture. read more

Toes were butchered today. I've been going to this salon for about a year but the person I usually see, just moved. The lady that did my pedi today, Lena, didn't care how many times she hurt me or how many times she made me bleed. AND lost half a toenail when she cut it wrong, twisted my ankle and bruised my toes. It has been two months of dealing with this place ti simply he my money refunded. Money I have as told had been refunded repeatedly! The individual who identified himself as the manager, Steven, has been giving me the runaround about my refund from day one. First, he blamed me because I filed a claim with my bank against them. He stated he couldn't process the refund because of that. I communicated with my pack, and they finalized the claim so that Steven could process the refund. Per my bank, Steven has been telling them that the refund had been processed. The last time I spoke with Steven was over 2 weeks ago when he said he was processing the refund, that would take about 10 days to reach my bank. At this point, I will be taking him to court, along with the woman who burned my face. I am done dealing with these people. Do yourself a favor...DO NOT go to this place! The risk is not worth it! I now have a scar on my face that I am still treating! They're lying frauds! read more

This is typically my go-to nail salon because the view during my pedicure is great! I don't get my nails done super often, but I have had enough done to know what typically gets done. My pedicure was the most painful I ever had. The nail tech filed so hard and didn't care that I was in visible pain that I couldn't even carry on a conversation with my sister. After checking my nails the next day, come to find a painful cut below the top of my nail on my skin and an over cut cuticle on the big toe. On my thumb she also over cut my cuticle that it started bleeding. The whole experience felt so rushed and painful. I got a regular polish and I noticed bubbles in the polish before I even left but didn't want anyone touching my nails again at that point. Not sure I will go back read more

I had the worst experience ever this last time I went I asked for a gel manicure and to keep my nails square with no rounded edges and I want to keep my length, mind you it took a long time for me to grow my nails out to be able to do a regular gel manicure. She filed all my nails down roughly and at that point my nails were so short it was down to the skin. Then I said that's too short it's not what I wanted let's just do acrylic. Did the acrylic and filed really rough that it cut down the length in half AGAIN!! and had cuts all over my fingers from how rough she filed. Had the nerve to charge me $60 for that. I will never be back and don't waste your money it's a SCAM. read more

I had such a lovely experience today at Bliss! I had previously been to this location when it was a different business and was pleasantly surprised to see the updates in layout and decor at this beautiful business. I made appointments for pedicures for my husband and I but had to make them 45 mins apart because there weren't many available on the website. They made space for us immediately when we checked in at the spa and also accommodated my husband when he asked to also have a mani. The location is great - the pedicure chairs face a cute fountain (with ducks!) and gorgeous views of Lake Killarney. Service was also excellent with friendly employees, prompt attention, and helpful recommendations from everyone we spoke with. There's also a large selection of polish colors, including gel options as well. We will absolutely be back for regular mani/pedis and will probably make a day of it next time with TJs right next door for shopping and Shake Shack for lunch! read more

Initially, the staff were friendly, and I was hopeful for a great experience. However, things shifted when I declined their upsell for a more expensive manicure and pedicure. After choosing the basic package, the technician seemed visibly annoyed that I stood by my decision. From that point on, the atmosphere changed noticeably. There was chatter among the staff in another language, but it became clear and apparent they were speaking about me--the glances and head turns from the other workers made it obvious. I was over in the area having a facial and decided to stop by and have my nails done. This location is just a few steps away from a clean your Dirty face. The ease of getting to both locations makes for a perfect feeling yourself day. I did not have an appointment but arrived around 11 AM on a Friday morning and was immediately able to be seen. I had a picture of a nail design I've been wanting for a while and showed it to the receptionist at the desk. Receptionist said no problem and got me started. Once he did the original nails then Nixon came over to finish it off. He did such an exceptional job! I am so incredibly happy with my nails and cannot wait to go back The downside to this location is that it is in a very busy plaza. There are several medical offices as well as a Trader Joe's so parking can be tight. If you make an appointment make sure you give yourself enough time to find parking. read more

Worst 15 mins and $40 ever spent. I've been to Bliss multiple times now. At first I was on board and loved their quick service and beautiful interior. However, after this last service I will not be going back. I was a walk in on a Saturday afternoon, they were not particularly busy and yet I was rushed in and out. I asked for a gel manicure, and after not being able to decide in a color I asked to change to a manicure with no polish. I was then given unsure looks and asked repeatedly if I was sure I wanted no polish. Continuing to seem annoyed Lucy asked if I wanted a buff and polish. Never mentioning it would be an extra $5. I said sure that would be fine. Lucy removed my three week old gel polish with such force that I now have divots in my nail beds. She clipped my length down and half - assed cut some of my cuticles while looking around the room more concerned about going ons around the salon. She then buff polished my nails so roughly she was shaking my entire body as well as the table. She dripped oil on my nails and halfway up my arms and rubbed it in just as roughly, only then did I notice the oil had coconut. I'm allergic and then politely walked to the sink to surgeon wash my arms and hands to get the oil off. I walked up to the counter and waited for her to input the service in the computer... Manicure $25 Dip Removal $10 Buffer Shine $5 TOTAL $40. I was dumbfounded. Literally didn't know what to say. I could not believe that the experience I just had was then going to take $40 out of my bank account. I have since had to come home and file my nails because they are not straight. My finger tips and nails are sore and I still have dirt under my nails because she didn't clean them out. It was by far the worst manicure I've ever had. read more

Ugh I want this place to be five stars so bad :(! Bliss is an unexpected surprise tucked away in the busy parking lot just adjacent to Traders Joes and next door to Shake Shack. It's a small parking lot but when busy it can be a battle to find a spot. They started complimentary valet right when I stopped going. Getting a pedicure here is HEAVEN. All pedicure chairs overlook the serene Lake Killarney. With brand new nails kits and plastic lined pedicure tubs where can you go wrong right? When I first started coming here it was under the management of an absentee owner from what the tech was telling me. My first visit was costly but also my nails were wretched so I justified the cost and chalked it up to the time spent. Than I began to realize I was being charged differently every time I went for the same service. My tech would say it was due to different things. Than when the new owner took over she charged me a logical price. I went again and the tech charged me differently. The weird pricing is the only reason why I haven't been back other than that its the only place I've been in Orlando that has a tech who knows how to dip with Extensions. read more

My nail tech (Name starts with a "L") gave me a rushed manicure and was extremely rough when giving me an arm massage. I then go to my pedicure bowl and I asked for the Hot Stone massage. She never once asked me if I wanted water. (Which normally they offer a beverage) and she gave me a paraffin wax with no hot stones and a massage that was super rough. She rushed the entire experience! I've spent so much money at this place over the past two years and I've had enough with this place. Speaking of the tab, she charged me extra for my pedicure when I didn't even receive the service I asked for!! I normally never complain about these type of things, but I really miss how this place used to be. And I'm sorry to say that I will not be returning. Wanted to try this place for quite a while. It looks so serene and peaceful. We got 2 pedicures, 1 manicure with gel, and a fill. All services were great. Staff attentive. It wasn't crowded but can see why you should make an appointment if for the weekend. Prices though were very high compared to similar places. I ended spending over $180. Yikes. Unfortunately, the manicure for my kid started to chip after 3 days - not good. My nails took forever to do a fill and was not even. Had to tell the technician to fix a couple of spots and I am not even that picky. Pedicures were good though, but don't let them sell you above the regular pedicures. I came here recently and was a little let down. My boyfriend surprised me with a late Valentine's Day gift Mani and Pedi. As a new mom it is very hard to go get my nails done as the fumes are too strong for my baby and I cant relax..so this was my only chance to get it done. They seem promising with the lake/pond view but that's about it for me. We made a reservation so there was no wait. I was seated immediately (one upside). My pedicure tub water was ice cold and I asked for hot water and it was only slightly warmer. I got the classic manicure and pedicure but it still felt like she didn't scrub my feet long enough or clean my cuticles like she should've. It felt rushed. She did offer me water but no wine. I had to ask for some... while I heard other techs offer their clients some. I felt like the paint job wasn't even either. I noticed she used tools she could find lying around. This bothers me because normally salons use new equipment or sanitized equipment for each client. The work space was also messy and I noticed nail clippings. Not luxury. The problem with my nail tech was her performance not her. She was so beyond nice. When she painted my nails she did a Ok job. They put a warm heating pad on my neck which I did really like. She even offered to add glitter to my ring finger. Once finished she didn't clean the edges. She was so nice I just let it go and left. However not even a few hours later it was like the nail polish was crumbling off. Within a day my nails looked awful. I do feel it was partly the polish she used. I also realize standard nail polish doesn't last as long as gel but it has 100% lasted me atleast a few days to a week. I ended up coming back a day later which was annoying since I live a hour away and a gentleman did fix it. The manager did not apologize, she basically just had him go fix it as quickly as possible. When I think about the gas I used... I could've just painted it myself and it would've looked the same. I will not be coming back here. Another important thing to mention: The parking is horrendous. They totally need more space to accommodate the traffic I'm not sure why they put Trader Joe's, shake shack a clinic and one of the most popular hair salons with this tiny parking lot and narrow lanes. We couldn't find parking near the salon at all. read more

Stopped by after a friend recommended it. Called ahead to be sure they had availability; they did. Parking was annoying. As soon as I entered, they set me up with Tony. I had a pedi overlooking the nice fountain/pond area. It seemed a bit rushed. The scrub was so quick; too bad cuz that's my favorite part. The hot towel soak was nice with the mask. The massage was good. The paint job could use some improvements. The paraffin wax to the entire foot, not just the heel, was a nice touch. The Mani is perfect. I did a pink and white dip and it looks so natural. I would return for that. The place was well kept and clean. It felt safe- employees wearing masks, they make you hand sanitize upon entry and they separate guests when they can. Deluxe pedi $38. Dip pink and white $45. The removal is included if you get it redone. Otherwise removal is $10. Also, keep your receipt in case anything happens in the first 24 hours. They will fix it if you have the receipt. Overall - The best local place to get a manicure and pedicure. Service - The folks that work here are very pleasant and professional. You start by choosing a location to sit, a fountain or lake view. Then pick nail polish color if so inclined. Then choose one of the services that they offer. I typically opt for the hot stone massage option to get a nice foot massage. Location & Ambiance - This is a very nice plaza and the location of the nail salon is great! One side of the pedicure bays faces the nice fountain and pond, the other side faces Lake Killarney. The parking in the plaza is free but it is a smaller lot that also has a Shake shack and a Trader Joe's so be ready to hunt for a parking spot. read more
