There are many nail salons to choose from in Jacksonville. The reason I have been a client for two years of Luxy Nails is due to #1 the salon is very clean. I've never been on site when the Manager is not available and I have personally observed as she ensures tight operating procedures regarding shop details and customer service. #2 My time is limited- not wanting to spend hours in a chair I 100% appreciate Lien and her staff for understanding this requirement and providing the best gel nail, pedicure and brow treatment timely. I've seen other patrons enjoy a longer service- so if that is what you like- they can accommodate.#3 Staff are experienced, professional and courteous. Customer loyalty can be witness as the staff greet their many regulars. Simply said... Clean, well run salon with professional technicians who provide top notch service. read more

Really friendly and super cost effective - I got a mani pedi for $33 and was very impressed with the quality of both. I accidentally scraped my toe before it completely dried, went back the next day, and they fixed it no problem and no cost. read more

Visiting Atlantic/Neptune beach area. When I walked in I was warmly greated offered a seat for my pedi and the was shown that offered cold beverages (including wine!) Everyone, even the regular customers were pleasent. Great customer service, even a person who came back to get her polish fixed.....not sure if its because of it being a "slow weekday" 4 stars due to one of my toes was smudged then polished over. Couldn't see it til I left the building. Overall, I enjoyed the service it was nice with a large variety. read more

I had my nails filled here for the first time today. What a mistake!!! I called yesterday asking for the best nail tech as I am extremely picky. So today I went in and it took Terry an hour to fill my nails. My nails are crooked, lumpy and you can see where my nails grew out. I can't believe this place is in business if I got the best nail tech. I wish I could take a picture of the horrific job they did. I recommend you do not go to Luxy Nail Salon in Yulee. I now have to try and find another place to fix what they did. What a waste of money. read more

I have been going to Luxy Nails since I moved to FL. I always enjoyed going in and the quality of service was always the same regardless of my tech. My last service was very disappointing. I have gotten the same pedicure at every visit and this time the pedicure was not done properly. I also get gel nails and the polish on my thumb broke less than a week after my service. When I went in to have it corrected they refused. Shortly after, they began to peel. I love the atmosphere here but sadly, I will be looking for a new nail salon. I did not visit at all during the winter so I was unaware of all the staffing changes that occurred between my visits. read more

Nails look nice but technicians seemed a little rushed...got the delux pedicure, was great overall but she didn't use a pummus. I also got a full set, they look nice but they are a little uneven (nails are not all the same length) and she didn't check to make sure the polish was perfect. read more

Went in today, my real nails described as a tale of stress would be an understatement. I used to go to Ocean Nails, decided to give this little shop a try. I'm quite pleased! Nhi not only took the time to listen to what I wanted (cuticle cut down/clean up and acrylics with little grinding) she took the time and care to execute it perfectly! My nails look 120 times better. I am not happy with this nail spa. I was a long-time customer from the beginning. I got bumped three times when on-time. The last straw was getting bumped for being a few minutes late, even after making an advance phone call to the spa. I cannot recommend this spa to anyone. They showed no loyalty to this long-time customer. I had to give one star to complete this process. I do not even think they deserve one star. read more

I've been coming here for about 3 months now, I'm revising my previous review bc now, every time I go in, I get hurried along, I never am able to get what I want bc ONE person can do pink and whites and she's either not there or busy with appointments. I am to busy to schedule an appointment. Today I went in and asked for a pink and white fill in. They said ok, sat me down with someone other than the girl that can do it. I def did not get a pink and white. I got a regular fill in with polished white tips. I said at least 5 times that I wanted pink and white. If they couldn't do it, just tell me and wouldn've just got a color. I paid (and tipped) but since they clearly can't provide what I want, and are willing to lie and tell me ok they'll do what I want but then don't, I won't be coming back. And if I do it will be just for a pedicure. read more

Unfortunately, it would seem that people that reviewed this Nails Salon had some "inside-trading" knowledge. In fact, the employees that used to work there, and made the place special, are now gone. I visited last week and I don't plan on going back. I had brought a friend and she was disappointed as well. The pedicure was ok but the manicurists couldn't care less, ignored a specific request for nail shape, kept chatting to each other on (I assume) Vietnamese, laughing uprariously, and completely ignoring the customers. The outcome was not nice, the polish was "wrinkly" and chipping. Pity, I really used to like the place but I'm now looking for a permanent alternative. So long Luxy. read more

Luxy nails is the best nail shop I have been to since moving to Jacksonville! I like getting dark pink and white acryllics and This is the only place that does then EXACTLY the way I like ! They have the hot wax for pedicures and everyone of them always do a great job. I am very satisfied and come back every 2 weeks . Go see Lee for the best pink and whites ! read more

Went to this spa because I received a gift card. The first visit I asked for a gel manicure. The woman who did my nails was very attentive, but the polish lasted less than a week! I've had normal polish that lasts longer. After day 3 it started lifting and from there peeling off. Came back to spend the remainder of my gift card and for a spa pedicure. They kept pressuring me to add on wax, nail designs, etc. I've never had a spa ask me to spend so much extra. I repeatedly said no and they still continued. The pedicure was decent. At the end when I went to pay, I had $23 on my gift card which was the amount that is posted for their spa pedicure. The lady told me I owed her $1 for "the liner they had to use" in the sink for my pedicure? Since when does the customer pay for supplies?! It wasn't the $1, it was the concept that throughout the experience they asked for extras AND still asked for $1 for supplies!!! Safe to say I won't be returning. read more
