That's when I learned of King Bee. Masinag seems to be the nearest to our place... even if it's really far away from us. For Sunday lunches with our clan, we go all the way to Masinag to pick up lunch. That's exactly what we did today. Our usuals are their Yang Chow Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Pork, Chopseuy Fried Noodles, Hakaw, Asado Siopao, and of course, Jumbo Siopao. These dishes from them never fail us. Their hakaw has the most shrimp I've ever seen inside a hakaw. The Jumbo Siopao is a mix of bola bola with egg, chorizo, shrimp, and mushroom. I've tried something similar from other places... and King Bee's is still the best.

Their siomai is pretty good too and I usually pair these with their Yangchow Fried Rice. So good! Serving size here at King Bee is always good to share so coming here in groups would be a good idea. Well, I WAS WRONG to assume it was going to be a subpar meal. Luk Foo has some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered chicken pansit. Noodles were cooked PERFECTLY. I hate mushy noodles which happens more often than not. The chef at LuK FOo has his noodle game on point. We ordered sweet and sour lapu lapu, spicy salt and pepper spare ribs, ampalaya and beef, some shrimp dish, taro puff (the best I've ever had) and something else I can't remember. I love dim sum and order taro puff every time I have dim sum...and Luk Foo has the BEST taro puff. Perfect crispy outside with generous filling of taro and beef.
