I chose this location as it was close to work. I dropped off a pair of pants that needed to be hemmed on Wednesday. They told me to pick up on Friday. I came to pick it up on Friday and they couldn't find it. They asked me to wait 10 minutes. While I'm waiting, I realized it's because my pants are not ready and they're doing the alterations while I wait. $25 is pretty high for a 10 minute job. Will need to continue looking for another location where the prices are reasonable and the order is ready when they tell you it is. read more

Unfavorable experience: poor communication and customer service. I recently brought three items for alterations to this shop- a few simple stich repairs and a panel that needed to be sewn onto the bottom of a skirt. I was given a receipt with a pick up date of one week later. I paid in full at drop off. When I returned on the scheduled pick up day, I was met by the seamstress who informed me quite casually that the items were not ready. There was no apology, no explanation, just a question asking if I could come back later in the day. I explained that I had other errands to run and would be traveling the next day and would be needing the items for my trip. Her response? A shrug. No solutions, no urgency and most disappointingly no concern for the fact that I had paid in full upfront and had relied on the turn around date. This experience demonstrated a clear lack of consideration for the consumer. It would be difficult for me to recommend this shop based on the absence of accountability shown in their services. read more

Efrain did a great job tailoring my suit and closing a rip in a pair of pants. The suit fit really well; I am very impressed with their work. It took 6 days, but I saw a sign in there that they do rush orders for an extra fee. I was happy with the turnaround time, cost, and service. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I went to pick up my dress on Tuesday. They lost it and forgot to hem it. I needed the dress for a wedding on Sunday so I agreed on giving them more time to hem it. I picked it up that Friday, they told me it was done. When I put it on for the wedding, it was never hemmed. Even in my heels, there was a good inch dragging on the floor. They stole the $72 dollars i paid. They never did a thing to my dress. I recommend you take your clothes elsewhere. read more

I took 2 pairs of jeans to have the waist taken in and the length shortened. They did a great job with the alterations. They matched the tread. Any clothes that you have that are not tailored to you should come to this place for that touch. I'll come back with more items for sure. read more

Personally I would never go back here because they're overpriced, even for simple hems. I needed two pants scrubs taken in, literally less than 2-3 inches and they charged me $47 and took them 4-5 days to complete. Completely absurd pricing. I'll make the drive to go somewhere cheaper. read more

Needed my jeans to be taken in about 2in. from the waist. Since it was a pair of jeans, I was skeptical at first; but after they finished with my jeans, they looked & fit amazingly; to say I was elated with the service is beyond an understatement. My husband & I will be taken other articles of clothing to get fixed. The staff members, Efrain & Luza, are friendly & very professional. My husband said it best... "finding a good tailor is like finding a good mechanic" & I found just that & I'm in "tailor heaven" so I encourage anyone to try them out...! read more

Horrible servicio, los dos ultimos encargos han sido un absoluto desastre. En Diciembre pedí poner un broche seguro a un vestido ($20) y cuando lo recogí y me lo probé en casa al abrochar el vestido con el broche que pedí (era interno) el broche sobresalia por fuera del vestido. Y hace unos días llevé un jean para arreglar el bajo (recortar y estrechar) ($35) más ($10) porque lo necesitaba en 4 días en lugar de 1 semana como ellos decian, resulta que lo recogo y cuando lo voy a usar porque tengo un evento, el jean esta al tamaño del bajo que pedí pero no lo estrecharon. Pero que demonios? Si me lo probé en el taller y ellos mismos tomaron la medida. El servicio es super grotesco, precios altos y además no cumplen con lo que se les pide. Last time I bring anything to this shop.. back in June 2021 I brought a dress to be for my daughter it was suppose to be shortened,and a pair of pants for my husband that were to short and needed to have the leg seem undone so that they had more length. Upon pick up a week later. The dress was not done and the pants were taken in 2 inches at the waist, nothing was done to the leg. Last week 3/2 I brought in a dress that needed to have the bust taken in and a blouse that was to have the sleeves shortened and neck like taken down... I was charged $40 for just the shirt. Called this morning to pick up as she said it would be ready 3/9 it was not, said to come in at 3pm. When I walked in she was working on the shirt, when I tried it on the sleeves were the same length. She had no record of me asking for the sleeves to be fixed. They don't listen to the customer, charge more that the shirt cost and then never have it done on time. If you value your time, find another place. Save your money! read more

Went into Luza's on Wednesday to get the straps on my dress taken in. I was able to pick my dress up that Friday and received a $3 off coupon because it was my first visit. My alterations came up to a total of $12 and the dress fit perfect after it was altered. If you're looking to get an item altered and you're pressed for time this is the place for you. read more

I walked in for a simple dress hem and was quoted $37. What?! When I question the price the seamstress said it was because I had two layers to hem. That was incorrect it was only one, so he lowered the price to $25. Still, what?! So I just went shopping around and found A reasonably priced seamstress around the corner called Touch Of Hollywood in Doral, Fl. $12 for a simple dress hem. Now that's much better. Will be sending all the girls from the school choir to the touch of Hollywood for all their services. read more

Took 2 long sleeve button down shirts that were huge on me due to the style of the shirts. They tailored it perfectly to my body size and shape. They also did the sleeves that were too long and too wide and made them fit perfectly. Paid $28 per shirt which is a bit pricey but for the work they did it was well worth it. Rather pay to have something done right then be cheap and have it come out bad. read more

We left a dress a week ago to be embroidered. After a second visit to review the design we were told if be ready for pick up on Friday. On Saturday we went to pick up and surprise to find out they do no embroidery after all. Very un professional. Do not recommend this business to anyone. read more

The day before New Years I needed my dress hemmed, I contacted Luza's Tailor and they told me to take my dress because they could it. It took them about 3 hours to finish and the dress came out perfect for a really good price! If I ever need anything hemmed will definitely come back! Truly recommend this place! read more
