Great service from start to finish. The restaurant was set up nicely & had a cute little shop next to it. The cashier was super helpful with helping us order and describing menu items. The food was sooo good! Everything was seasoned nicely, hot and fresh!

Reminds me of home! Ordered the roast beef poboy, gumbo, and bread pudding to go, and none of it disappointed! The gumbo was chunky and had a nice kick. They really know the importance of seasoning. Poboy was fully loaded and used the correct poboy bread! The bread pudding is also probably the best I've had in Columbia! Service was quick, and the atmosphere was lively. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Very unique and quaint brunch dive! They offer a special menu that changes with the season. Not much space but perfect for a brunch date.

In town on business and found this spot on Yelp. Great recommendation! Cozy atmosphere. The food was really good. We had the crab dip, seafood gumbo, chicken jambalaya, alligator po boy and picked up a pack of pralines for the trip back home. The service was excellent. The young lady that served us was very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu items. The chef came out to check on us which I thought was really nice. I would definitely recommend

Great sandwich today at brunch time, My wife had an amazing peach waffle from the brunch menu. Our first time trying this restaurant but both of us agree that we will return another time. Mary Catherine the owner and her staff offer stellar courteous down south service and we truly appreciate supporting this sort of family run restaurant. We will return.

I did not intend on leaving a review since my last one was so recent. My mom wanted to come back because she enjoyed her shrimp po'boy that much. This last time they were featuring a lobster po'boy, I ended up ordering a combination po'boy with lobster and shrimp. Long story short, I came to say the lobster was phenomenal. It was fried to perfection and had a great flavor. It's hard to find fried lobster in Columbia, especially fried lobster cooked well. With that being said, I will be returning whenever they feature the lobster.

Went here for brunch and it did not disappoint. Every dish was phenomenal and we would get it again every time. Shrimp and grits- the shrimp was seasoned perfectly and the portions were huge Waffles with chicken sausage. I love pearl sugar waffles and adding mascarpone and fruit made it unforgettable Beignets- I could live off these...full stop. I didn't touch the dipping sauces since I felt that they stood on their own, but my wife loved them. Terrific experience with a super friendly and attentive staff. Only suggestion (if this exists already I'm sorry) would be to have pictures of the food especially food items that I'm not completely sure what they look like (ex. Shrimp Remoulade)

Delicious! Great flavors and very fresh. We ordered the Mimi-latta (muffuletta sandwich) and the Parish Salad with shrimp. The sandwich was hearty and big enough to share or take half home. The shrimp on the salad was fresh fried and plump. And the most delicious bread pudding was enjoyed afterwards. Service was friendly! You can tell a lot of love went into the decor and the products available for purchase in their shop. Skip the fast food and head here. Highly recommend!

The environment/atmosphere was interesting...can't quite put my finger on it, but the food was good. The service was good as well. I ordered the shrimp poboy and the shrimp was so light and crispy. I ordered the side of okra, which I thought was a little pricey ($7), but the sauce it came with made the okra tasty. The slaw was my least favorite and I wish I had gotten the red beans and rice but maybe next time. A real hit for me was the pralines, they melt in your mouth- $8 for 4, but they were well worth it. I really like this spot and the food is definitely worth a visit but...I don't know.

Muffuletta sandwich (1/2 already eaten). Excellent.

Our ROMEO club of 10 went here for our first visit today. Arrived at 11:25 and there were plenty of seats...we took up two tables, everyone placed their order at the counter and seated. We ordered three gumbos(2 deer and 1 chicken gumbo), two Shrimp Po'Boys and 1 Oyster Po'Boy, 1 chicken sandwich, and two Mimi-Lattas (Muffuletta sandwiches). The Muffuletta's were great. Large rounded bun with tons of the usual meat and olive spread. The gumbo was very good...I had a cup to sample it and it was one of the best I've had. It had a very dark roux, excellent taste with the deer and the andouille. I'd order it again. The guys with the Shrimp Po'Boys said they were very good. Great choice on the menu. I would've liked to have seen jambalaya on there menu but apparently they only make it on certain days. Most excellent restaurant. Our ratings amongst the group were (7) 5.0s and (3) 4.5s, giving it a rating average of 4.9! If you like cajun this is the best I've found in Cola area so far.

When serving a po boy, you gotta get the bread right.. this was as close to French Quarter New Orleans as it gets. Food and service were great.

Amazing food and great service. Best poboy sandwiches. I hade the oyster, shrimp, and crawfish. Wife had shrimp. Perfect fry and hot.

Great po boys. Remoulade was spot on. Huge pickle slices. Shrimp and oyster were good, but scant. Nice people.

I loved their selection of South Carolina hats, artworks, household items, clothing, etc. Also, as a philatelist, (one who loves mail) this is one of the few places in Columbia to buy postcards (and they're affordable as well!) They also had a lot of cool Carolina and Clemson merchandise, as well as items that highlight the history of the state of South Carolina. All-in-all, it was a great store, and my only complaint is that it's not its own standalone location! Would highly recommend!

It doesn't just handle museum related items and souvenirs. Its inventory is related to everything of the entire State of South Carolina. As they state, they've "...explored every corner of the state to bring you the best of South Carolina," and from what I've seen they have done that and then some. It's a really big store and has most everything one can think of that would be South Carolina related and most of the goods are of superior quality, not just cheap Chinese built trinkets. But the best part is the selection. They have everything from jewelry to clothing to home decorator items and the staff is more than willing to assist. It's really one of the better shops I've seen within or a part of any public museum.

They accused my kids of messing things up, knocking things over and not picking them up when it was another older lady who made the mess. Fortunately, my ten year old has more couth than the lady working and was kind enough to pick up the items knocked over by an elderly customer with a walker, EVEN AFTER being accused and spoken to unkindly. I was very proud of her. I wish I had heard the other interaction between this hag and my daughter. I was planning on purchasing quite a few candles and car fresheners, but after I heard her and another customer speaking poorly about my kids (WHO WERE SITTING ON THE FLOOR AND READING A BOOK by the children's corner) just because they were not in their plain sight, I decided that I would never support a business who very clearly needed to give their issues with discrimination to The Lord. I kindly returned the items I was going to purchase back to their shelves and called to my girls and they put their books back nicer than they found them and we left to spend our money across the street. I understand what it's like having bad experiences with children when you're a business owner. I understand not appreciating unruly children. But my girls in no way were unruly, rude, or destructive in the least bit. I normally would have just let it go if it were just me, but my kids? Man, you pissed me off. There was no subtlety to your accusatory approach. Just pure ugliness. Over here lookin like homemade sin. Proud of my kids and how they handled themselves. As for the workers? Take it down a couple notches. Your store is subpar at best.
