Every so often you have to take a scroll back and see if anything new has been added to the menus. Not sure if this is new, but it's definitely something I haven't tried. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp along with the Fried Shrimp Po' Boy platter and Hush Puppies. The Bang Bang Shrimp sauce was different from what we had tasted before, but it was good. I was looking for a sweeter taste but again, it still had a great taste. It came on a bed of lettuce. The Shrimp Po' Boy platter came with French Fries. The fries were crunchy and delicious! Matter of fact, they were perfect:) The Shrimp Po' Boy was good and simple. It didn't have a lot of stuff on it, which was cool for me. Again, the sauce was okay but the shrimp and fixings were delightful. These Hush puppies are always good, so no complaints there. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. This is a place I recommend. While Garners doesn't offer the same variety of combos that other seafood boil venues, you can choose a 1/2 order of *any* seafood. This allows for a variety of seasonings and add ons (i.e., they don't throw it all in the same bag) providing myriad ways to customize. I was very happy with my mussels and shrimp; seasoning was solid. I'm not a fan of the Styrofoam containers with all that liquid, but to each their own. The wings were nothing to rave about; breaded and lightly sauced. *A note on heat: The employee taking my order at the register suggests no hotter than a 3 on their 5 point scale. As one who completes the BWW Blazin' Challenge on a whim, I wasn't nervous about going higher, but every cajun boil interprets this scale differently. The boat dock hands at first were telling us we could only park one way on one side of the dock, which works great for pontoon boats, but we are wake surf boats, and are not able to be tied off, and getting our passengers off was also not going to work that way. So then we tried to go inside, and that also was not great. Wake surf boats do not turn easily like others. So we left the area, and then they finally let us park the normal way we do, and we got our passengers all out safely. I understand wake surf boats are not as common, so having some flexibility with docking would go a long way for sure. The ramps are great, we had to eat outside because of our big party. We wanted to move the tables together, but they have them bolted to the floor, so we had to split up for dinner. Food was great, and our waitress was super helpful. We were able to eat on the lake and have a great time doing it. We were all so tired on the way back home.

They have their own private boat dock, and generally pleasant outside seating area, especially on a warm evening. This time, however, somebody had decided to dock their boat right outside the restaurant's seating deck, and leave their music on, blasting whatever they thought was appropriate and counting as good taste. We could not even talk to each other over it, it was so loud, and both my husband and I left with massive headaches and in a hurry. We asked a server if they could do anything about it, but they came back saying they had talked to a manager and nothing can be done, since they have no idea who the boat belonged to. I have a hard time believing that they have so little control over their own dock, but they seemed to have zero interest in finding a solution so we opted to leave instead. Nicole was super kind when we came in, we waited in the car for our food and it was ready early so she brought it out to us. I know that's not a usual service but she had the time, thanks Nicole.
