I have been hitting Q's Corner Cafe for lunch lately, and every dish in their Latin lunch features has been on point. From the beef stew to the ribs to the pernil. The rice and beans are good. I always get my beans on the side with yellow rice. Flavorful yet subtle, really supporting the meat of the dish in the best way. The empanadas are really good. I can't choose between the chicken and the beef, but both are tasty and the crust aligns perfectly. My favorite so far has been the ribs. They were full of flavor, tender, and so good. The beef stew was good and tender. The pernil had an interesting flavor, and I am glad I tried it. I love what has been done to the outside seating. Customer service is top-tier. The vibe is always so vibrant, welcoming, and enjoyable. Truly an amazing experience! I prefer to call ahead. If your meal is not ready, they will bring it out to you, whether in your car or in their outdoor seating area. Can't wait for the ribs again! read more

Went on a Tuesday for lunch; best bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel i've had in south carolina!! we also tried the beef empanada and the q's cheesesteak both of which were delicious! can't forget the creamy and cheesy mac and cheese bites!! The service was phenomenal and personal, for our first time visiting, we literally felt like family! The outdoor seating was nice for a warmish day with a nice breeze! We will be back! read more

First time to Q's Corner Cafe. You must order from the window, not inside. They do have a few parking spaces and outside tables outside to enjoy. There is a vacant bldg next them that you can use for parking. Customer service was fast and friendly. I ordered and they brought my food to my car! I ordered empanadas, rice and beans. The empanadas where very small but seasoned well, rice nor seasoned and undercooked, the beans where seasoned very well. I've been to Puerto Rico several times... Menu doesnt have prices at business location. Everyone has room for improvement...I will try them again in the furure for updates. read more

The lady Jacqueline that owns this place is really nice. You go up to the window and order. They have like 5 wooden picnic tables outside. They will call your name and you can pick up your food and eat at the picnic table. There is very little room for parking. There is a vacant building across Rosewood you can park. I've only ever had bacon egg cheese but it's prolly best BEC in Columbia . They super nice too

No prices are shown and service was extremely slow. Took 56 minutes to recieve a BLT. Wasn't even busy as it was noon but even then that's a stretch to argue that's a reasonable time frame for some tomato, lettuce, and bacon. This BLT was 14$ too and by no means worth it. read more

I originally came for breakfast but I didn't realize they stopped serving breakfast at 12. I ended up ordering the Q's chicken cheesesteak instead and I wasn't disappointed. It was super flavorful and the portion size was good for the price. The ordering process was very easy. There is very limited parking behind the building but a parking lot across the street you can use to quickly run over and get your food. There is outside seating, about 4 table on the side of building. I would definitely come back to try the other menu items and to try the breakfast. read more

Yes indeed! Good stuff! Came here for the Yelp event and glad we did. May sound odd but know I, try to stay away from grains and dairy if the menu allows it. So, I had the beans and the tostones. Come to think about it, this is in fact a good way to assess La Puertorriqueñidad of the cuisine and they got it The beans tastes like some else's Abuela made them and these were still good. I finished up the whole bowl of savory legumes, yum. About the tostones, I have been disappointed many times before, at other eateries but, not here. I truly enjoy my visit to Q's corner! The customer service was great. The owner and her son were so personable. Can you place your order at the ordering window and enjoy outside while is prepared. They have multiple bench tables. Parking is very accessible. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which was absolutely amazing. We also got the pork chop special, plantains that were delicious and sweet and empanada that was delicious and rice and beans. Because my hands were full, the owner even offered to help me put the items in my car. Now that's Customer service at its finest! I truly enjoyed talking to the owner and her son about my Papi, I left there with a full heart! I really enjoyed my visit here and next time I'll try to chop cheese. read more

This place is definitely the spot as a current Line Cook at 2 Restaurants and working in sub shops I can tell you right now that Chopped Cheese Footlong with Q's Sauce is no joke and them Fried Plantains are fried to perfection and were really sweet and don't even get me started on the Guava & Cheese Empanada 10/10 I unfortunately could only eat half because I had testing for the Columbia Fire Dept trying to get a job but you know as soon as my test was done I scarfed the other half down rest be assured I'll be back real soon. I love love love Q's! I normally almost always result for the chicken empanadas. I told one of the workers that the next time I came, I would try something different. I didn't think he would remember but sure enough he did. I choose to get the pernil lunch special which came with rice and beans and plantains. I asked for no plantains because I don't eat them and Q gave me an empanada instead. I didn't even ask! They are always so nice and make you feel welcomed every time. I've been on the hunt for delicious empanadas in Columbia for a while now. I read about Q's Corner on an Instagram post so I drove over this past week to try the empanadas and, WoW, they were worth the drive! I tried both the chicken & beef empanadas and they were golden and crispy on the outside and juicy and flavorful on the inside. Soooo delish! Before coming here I had read the reviews in hopes of experiencing what other costumers had... However this was by far the worst cafe i ever went to; First the menu didn't display any of the prices. Also the food was not good at all, the philly cheesesteak I had tasted extremely bland & just off , it came with no mayo, the meat was diced so small it was almost resembled the texture like ground beef. The hot chicken wings I ordered had a very very bad after taste I ate piece of one and threw the rest in the trash! The food was so awful i will never go here again. read more

Arrived just as they opened and waited for coffee (strong & in a traditional NY cup!) . The empanadas were hot and fresh . My husband had to call me from the road to tell me how good his (Second!) breakfast sandwich was (he at e his french toast bagel in the car on the way to drop me off at work.
