First time to Q's Corner Cafe. You must order from the window, not inside. They do have a few parking spaces and outside tables outside to enjoy. There is a vacant bldg next them that you can use for parking. Customer service was fast and friendly. I ordered and they brought my food to my car! I ordered empanadas, rice and beans. The empanadas where very small but seasoned well, rice nor seasoned and undercooked, the beans where seasoned very well. I've been to Puerto Rico several times... Menu doesnt have prices at business location. Everyone has room for improvement...I will try them again in the furure for updates.

The lady Jacqueline that owns this place is really nice. You go up to the window and order. They have like 5 wooden picnic tables outside. They will call your name and you can pick up your food and eat at the picnic table. There is very little room for parking. There is a vacant building across Rosewood you can park. I the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was really good. It was a really nice place.

Nothing like a little Q's and 90's club music

Food was amazing...we got the Q's cheesesteak, kid's egg and cheese bagel, rice and beans, buffalo chicken empanada, and cinnamon raisin bagel with schmear. For dessert, we had an apple fritter and their dulce de leche, which was a shot of goodness in an empanada shell. Service was the friendliest and the speakers were blaring 90's club music and jock jams. Needless to say, I left in a much better mood than I arrived

Yes indeed! Good stuff! Came here for the Yelp event and glad we did. May sound odd but know I, try to stay away from grains and dairy if the menu allows it. So, I had the beans and the tostones. Come to think about it, this is in fact a good way to assess La Puertorriqueñidad of the cuisine and they got it The beans tastes like some else's Abuela made them and these were still good. I finished up the whole bowl of savory legumes, yum. About the tostones, I have been disappointed many times before, at other eateries but, not here. These are the real thing, freshly fried, correct thickness/thinness, just like at home. Pa'lante Boricua. Sigan en la brega!

I truly enjoy my visit to Q's corner! The customer service was great. The owner and her son were so personable. Can you place your order at the ordering window and enjoy outside while is prepared. They have multiple bench tables. Parking is very accessible. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which was absolutely amazing. We also got the pork chop special, plantains that were delicious and sweet and empanada that was delicious and rice and beans. Because my hands were full, the owner even offered to help me put the items in my car. Now that's Customer service at its finest! I truly enjoyed talking to the owner and her son about my Papi, I left there with a full heart! I really enjoyed my visit here and next time I'll try to chop cheese.

I am feeling this walk up, outside seating only vibe! I got an egg and cheese with turkey bacon on an everything bagel. So fresh, so good! The gentleman who took my order was so pleasant and funny. This is definitely on the repeat visit list.

Food was really good, and I have little to no complaints. The customer service was excellent. This small restaurant produces quality over quantity!

Is there a six star option because this place is that good!…read more I wasn't familiar with this place but I was nearby and it showed up on Yelp. Boy am I glad I tried this place! Everything is fresh, the portions are generous and the service is excellent! It has a unique blend of Caribbean, Puerto Rican, Mexican and South American. It hits quite well with all of these! I had the Molcajeta, which featured steak, shrimp, chicken, cheese, peppers, noplan (cactus) and a tomatillo sauce. Amazing! Every aspect of it was fantastic. The corn tortillas and the beans on the side were quite good too. My wife had the Mofongo which she said was the best she'd ever had. She's difficult to please when it comes to food. The steak was tender, the fried plantains were amazing and I will have a difficult time deciding whether to order this or the Molcajeta next time. The empanadas are a great appetizer. We had the cheese and the ground beef and both were worth ordering. My daughter loved the chicken sandwich, my son enjoyed the nachos and my two younger ones had the chicken strips and both were happy. I was so full I had to box half of mine, and I finally have leftovers to be excited about. Despite being full, I ordered the flan. My kids tried it for the first time and were impressed. I really liked it too. What an excellent place! It's small, and most people are regulars. It's a neat spot!

Visited: Friday, June 13th, 2025…read more We decided to check this place out, and overall, it was a solid experience with a lot of potential! Here's the full scoop Ambiance: There's a nice amount of outdoor seating with a chill vibe. Inside, the space is cozy and clean--nothing fancy, but definitely inviting. I loved that the buffet is behind glass and served by staff --much more hygienic than your typical buffet setup. Pricing: Shoutout to them for offering a senior buffet price of $9.99, compared to the regular $16.99. That's super appreciated when you're dining out with parents or older relatives . Drinks: We ordered jugo de maracuyá (passionfruit juice). The flavor was there, but the pulp kept floating to the top, so the texture was a little odd. Still refreshing though! Food Experience: My mom started with the buffet and felt the food was lukewarm--not cold, but definitely not hot either . No heat lamps or lids on the trays might be the reason. Thankfully, the manager, Jesús, was amazing and open to feedback. He told us the place is under new ownership (just a few months in), so I'm hopeful improvements are coming. My husband also had the buffet and really enjoyed the rice and beans --well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. I ordered the Mar y Tierra mofongo platter , which came with: Garlic shrimp, Steak, Arroz con gandules, Fresh salad, And oddly... beans, even though the rice already had pigeon peas? The mofongo was great, and the salad was fresh and crisp. The steak and garlic sauce were both flavorful but unfortunately super salty--I couldn't finish it. The dish itself could definitely feed two people though! Dessert Letdown: I asked for tres leches cake, and I'm so glad I've learned to smell it before digging in. The milk had definitely gone bad . It's tricky with that kind of dessert since it spoils quickly if not stored right, since it consists of three different milks. Service: Top-notch. Jesús (manager) was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about our experience. Cris, our waitress, was sweet and attentive--she kept our table spotless and always checked if we needed refills or anything else. 10/10 for service --- Final Verdict: Great service Clean and comfortable setting Good flavors (but watch the salt) Affordable for seniors Just needs better temperature control and fresher desserts Would I come back? Yes. Especially to see how it improves over time with the new owners.

This place has good points and bad points so 3 stars averaged them out…read more Atmosphere was adorable and seemed authentic. The music and decor is just cute. The one server, who seemed very pleasant, spoke no English so the ordering was very difficult. We couldn't even make one ounce of headway with the language barrier. Luckily a customer come to our rescue. . I ended up just saying we want what he has. and with his help, we got our order in. The food was very good. We enjoyed the flavors of the food. The Leche cake was very good. The biggest thing was there wasn't any prices anywhere. We had no idea how much things cost. There is just a chalk board with the food selections. So 1 entree, 1 dessert cake, 2 waters cost $26 without tip. I'm not sure if we will return.

BBQ has…read morebecome borderline sacred to me after spending over a decade eating my way through the mecca of Dallas and Austin, Texas. So naturally, when someone tells me they have great BBQ outside of Texas, my guard immediately goes up. But Palmira isn't trying to imitate Texas. They're doing something much more interesting. This is a marriage of Puerto Rican, Carolina, and Texas barbecue, and somehow it all works beautifully. The beef cheek is the star of the menu and understandably so. Tender, rich, smoky -- everything you want from properly executed barbecue. I enjoyed it a lot. But honestly? I may have loved the barbacoa even more. Deep flavor, perfectly seasoned, and packed with soul. That said, the real stars of Palmira might actually be the sides. The mac and cheese was incredibly cheesy, flavorful, and comforting in the way good BBQ sides should be. But this entire experience can really be summed up with one thing: !!The Puerto Rican beans!! My host recommended them and casually mentioned they were her favorite side in the restaurant. I thought, "Okay, beans are beans." I was completely unprepared. These were, without exaggeration, the best beans I have ever had in my life. Truly magical. Smoky, savory, rich, comforting -- the kind of food that makes you stop talking after the first bite. I took some home thinking I'd enjoy them later, and somehow they were still incredible the next day. Yet even after taking leftovers home, I still regret not ordering more. Palmira managed to do something extremely difficult: earn the respect of someone spoiled by Texas barbecue while still creating an identity completely their own.

Staff was busy, friendly, and kept the lunch rush moving. Our main (constructive) feedback would be to 1) add weights and/or amounts to the (big board) pricing menu and 2) present customers with a heads up on the "fixins" that cost extra (e.g., cilantro and fried shell). Our (pictured) tray was $52 without a drink. Had we known that 2 ribs cost $15, we would have quickly pivoted to another meat.
