So I often hear the word "chiropractor" a dozen times throughout my 29 years of existence. Images of broken backs , car accidents, and misaligned spines raced through my brain. But here I am ....as healthy as I could be ...no accidents ...no broken backs. I did have neck straining and sore shoulders from my years of working in the restaurant business...lots of tension there. I recently read that chiropractic care is often preventative and you may be having problems without pain! Nevertheless , I sought out a Groupon to test my first chiropractic visit without committing hundreds. Found one for 35 bucks here ...and it included a massage ! The deal was good for a computerized spinal scan , adjustment and 60 min massage. Score ! What a deal. I called to set up an appointment Thanksgiving week but they were pretty busy. Might I add Dr. Vu picked up the phone and was very nice....he honestly sounded as though he was smiling over the phone. You can just tell they care. I didn't have my schedule yet for the following week but he suggested I am emailed him when I got it. I did email him a few days later and he promised to get back to me once he was back in town with his exact schedule to schedule me in. I expected to have to call him Monday to remind him but he emailed Sunday with my appointment date and time and what to expect. Great follow up! I arrived at the wellness center today and met Dr. Vu in person. He introduced himself and shook my hand. Great first impression. The people that I noticed that arrived seemed to have been coming here for a while and they all developed relationships with him and his wife. Dr. Vu explained to me chiropractic care and he checked my spine quickly for any misalignment and began the computerized nerve scan down my spine. The scan detects tension and I found it to be quite accurate as the parts that showed the most tension was around my neck area which I always experienced. I also received a print out of the scan. After that he did adjustments on my neck , back , and sides. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch! What an interesting but relieving experience. He pointed out that my right leg was longer by one inch. Now it was closer to even. It's funny because I always thought that my right leg was longer as when I stand up straight...then relax...my right seems to bend first. Turns out I'm okay now lol. I tested my range of motion from neck to shoulder and I swear it instantly increased. I always had a hard time putting my ear to my shoulder due to the tension and stiffness. Not anymore. Next was the massage. I was directed to Kyle who asked me what kind of massage I would like. I opted for a deep tissue with focus on my back. I have always had a huge knot on my upper left back that pains me ..years worth...but Kyle got that out. He paid extra attention to the knots and unkinked them all. I was pretty impressed with the detail massage and care. I highly recommend him if you can choose a massage therapist. Best of all, there was no pressure whatsoever to upsell and neither did he ask me when I would come back. He did say he would follow up and see how I am feeling. Everything was handled in such a professional and friendly manner....and for this reason alone I will be coming back in the future for my chiropractic care. I shelve already gifted a Groupon to a friend and Eill recommend. Thank you guys!! I'm no longer afraid of the crunch ! P.S As I was backing out of the parking lot and turned to look for cars... Disappointed. I went in to use a Groupon someone had purchased for me as a gift. The first appointment went well for my adjustment and spinal reading. I schedule my massage for the following week eager to enjoy the 60 minutes included with my Groupon. They told me their therapist was only in on certain days. Unfortunately I got stuck at work and couldn't make my massage. When I contacted the office to reschedule, they told me I had No Showed and thus forfeited my Groupon and I could pay $20 for a massage instead. It was explained that they pay their therapist for the appointment regardless if they show up or not. I never received my results from my scan and never got my massage so I can only give you 1 star. First of all, 'Words" can't express how thankful I am that I found Dr Vu.....  I have pretty much lived with back pain for the last five years after a couple of bad falls.  At one point, years ago, I decided that, "I would just have to live with it".   Although, I prayed and visualized myself living with a healthy body again, I was losing faith!    So, finding Dr Vu, after a full week, of flat on my back, can't MOVE PAIN!  I was DESPERATE to find something, someone, anything but having to live a life on pain meds! After the first treatment, I had noticeable relief!  After the second one, I felt amazing difference!   I've only three three treatments so far and I feel GREAT!   It's funny how we don't notice the habits created through "body pain". Turning over at night or, getting out of bed, or standing up from sitting to long,  I would find myself,  "Ouching" automatically with out thinking.  Then after noticing, "THERE IS NO PAIN, while doing these things anymore"!   I just smile in disbelief and amazement!    There is no pressure put on you to buy more treatments!  They are warm and friendly.   My first treatment was a Groupon gift, that included a one hour Massage.  I've had MANY MANY, massages.  In fact, I dated a massage therapist for nine years!  The massage, Kyle gave surpassed any Ive had....  I can't praise LV Chiropractor and wellness enough!  Thank you Dr Vu. I snagged their promotion off of groupon and decided to check out LV Chiropractic. I really liked their massage/chiropractic combination and for the price you can't beat it! You get your money's worth just out of the massage and then you get an adjustment. I also had the electronic nerve analysis. It was nice to see the visual and to know that the pain i have in my back is legit pain. As a medically retired Marine, being so young, it's difficult to deal with the fact that i have such a significantly high level of pain so seeing the analysis and knowing that my pain was legit was really nice. Not only was it a good visual but it was extremely accurate! Dr. Vu couldn't have been better and the staff was extremely polite and professional. I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

This review is way over-due. I have been seeing a Chiropractor for 27 years now. Dr. Vu has been my chiropractor for the last two years. I drive a long distance to see him, but don't mind the drive. He's great! I have some serious chronic back issues (arthritis, advanced degenerative disc disease and a broken vertebrae that didn't heal right), but with regular care I have been able to manage these problems very well. He is strong, but gentle and both are necessary when adjusting someone like me. His concern about your health goes beyond the adjustment. Throughout the years, I've been a patient of a multitude of chiropractors. I've experienced varying results from a few of them, with technique and approach being the factors determining effectiveness. I have daily discomfort (putting it lightly) and with the right care it has been relieved from time to time. I decided to take up surfing at 37 years of age - not the wisest choice but oh well. This was on top of an already active lifestyle of street running, trail/mountain running and 4-5 days/wk of weights in the gym (for 20+ years). To say my back has taken a pounding over the years is an understatement. Predictably, less than a year after starting to surf my back had had enough. I got to a point where I couldn't even look left or right without being in pain, and sleeping was difficult. I had dabbled in chiropractic in years past but never really gave it a real try. This time, I decided to give it 100% effort. And it paid off in spades. Dr. Vu is extremely personable and straight-forward and will explain things to you in terms you can understand. He and his wife, Dr. Lopez, are the real deal. Genuinely nice people who care about your health. This treatment is a real time commitment up front but if you truly prioritize your health that should not be an issue. After a 2-3 months of regular treatment, Dr. Vu got me to a place where I only need to go in every month or so for an adjustment. And your body will tell you when it is time.
